That is not a clear statement, as I'm reading it now, it will be distributed 3-5 months from April, so that would mean it will be distributed on July up,, the distribution will not be in bulk but to a certain percentage only. But if you look closely, the who point here is one must wait at least 3 months for his bounty to be received.

Every 1–2 days, we will slowly release 20k — 60k EDG tokens to randomly selected bounty participants.

Distribution months: May, June, July or May, June, July, August, September - at random bounty recipients every other day or two. It plans to mimick mining in PoW coins. Looks good, but I don't know why it has to be for random participants, why not all?

Anyway with regards to price, market will dump if it wants to dump regardless of bounties, just look at Chronobank. They delayed bounty distribution much to the irk of the bounty participants, but the price dumped nevertheless.

i think its not like that, after i chat with the dev about this
he says the distribution will start next week, and each 1/2 days the amount distributed will be around 20k~60k which this distribution will take a time up to 5 month from april

you guys should participate to test the jackblack beta. once its all tested and will work fine for the real world, that's the time you get your bounties too.
you probably can help it developed quicker if you participate in testing it.

I guess this is getting clearer now, the bounty that chronobank are giving is not quite as big compared to EDG so the bigger
bounty they give it will affect the market if distributed on the same day.

Its a good move by delaying the bounty to protect the price of EDG token to be dumped,But the current situation looks like EDG price has come down below 8k sat and this is not even part of bounty dumpers..
