Don't you guys think this PoS change is going to be a mess?
Have you read the whitepaper even the economic whitepaper about the pos ethereum? it seems you are not reading it. But the pos will have structured by the way. So, what is mean of the preparation before the pos transition? it gives you the more clue and i sure that will not going to be a mess. |

I'm sure it will not be below Dogecoin like most PoS coins, but still skeptical about it. There is a reason why most successful cryptocurrencies don't use this consensus algorithm. |

Because of After btc people love eth. And After some day ETH can hit 1000$. Its not imposible.

I agree! Eth has got very high potential still. And it's network (like bitcoin network) is very busy now = lots of people use it on a daily basis! |

2018 is the year for eth !!! we should see spik up to 1k .. but it will be short lived and back to maybe 600 ...

I'm not sure about $1,000, but I can bet my house on that ETH will reach 800$ until summer 2018 |

ETH is the second currency after bitcoin, but that it has reached such heights, then certainly not. It is not in such demand and the fact that it has risen on a certain day does not mean that it will blow up the market and endanger bitcoin.

If your someday has no particular limit or time frame, then yes, it will reach the $1000 value. But if you say that ETH will reach $1000 within 2017, that is something I seriously doubt. But I hope there will be a round of bullish run for altcoins before December so that we will end this year with a beautiful chart.  |

I am sure ETH will reach $ 1000 by the end of this year or late next year because the cryptocurrency market is a new trend for potential investors and they will choose ETH instead of Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin at that time will be very expensive and people will switch to ETH

I agree! Eth has got very high potential still. And it's network (like bitcoin network) is very busy now = lots of people use it on a daily basis! If Bitcoin network has problems when confirm transactions, why we do not use Ripple for solve this issue? An altcoin support the field for transfer money like Ripple with many function has optomized always better Ethereum has smart contract |

I think ETh will reach $ 1000 sooner or later.
However, I do not think this will happen this year and we will have to wait at least 1 year

On the short term, it depends the global crypto marketcap. If there is a big surge for external reasons, it could reach 1 000 quickly.
On the middle term, it will profit from trends like ICOs and tokenization. Except if there is a big problem, ethereum will reach 1000 within a few years imo.

I do not think so, in theory it could, but it is my opinion that despite the fact that some people thought Ethereum was going to overcome bitcoin I think the opposite is going to happen, new smart contract coins are appearing that are easier to use and since I’m not aware of any killer app designed in ETH it seems that the path is open for any other superior technology to overtake it. |

This depends on Bitcoin price imho. If BTC will reach 10k or 20k (which could easily happen in that asset inflation environment right now) a ETH price of 1k USD or more would be possible.

Ethereum devs can declare hard fork and this can cause an instant rally in ethereum. Never forget this. I believe a possible hard gork will provide a better ecosystem for ethereum fans. |
