The benefit we get is if the btc price rises when we initially buy 2,500 $ later rises to 5,000 $ maybe this is tantamount to investment
It's the investors benefits but we cannot all be investors here otherwise there will no more ciculation of bitcoin since we all choose to hold which is not healthy for the market. It should benefit more on the users who transact regularly than the investors who is after of the price increase. |

I think everyone who stores bitcoin in a wallet for a long time are all about the same goal that is waiting for the bitcoin price to increase the most and then sell it, because the price of bitcoin is increasing day by day so retention Bitcoin in the wallet for a long time is also a good strategy. I think you are really wrong, you must try to think to secure your balance or funds i mean about your first capital. Many people get rekt due to the really bearish market. What will be happening if another clone of bitcoin against bitcoin itself? What will you do?  |

For me in my own opinion, people save bitcoin in their wallet for them to save their money at the same time they gain profits on putting or storing their money into wallet. Because actually I, myself, really do the same way due to I believe that the price of bitcoin will grow more than what we have now and for sure everyone that stores their money believe on that same way.
As we can see those who store coin in 2014 is for sure a millionare now. That is how worth it to store.

The reason they saving bitcoin in their wallet for a long time is that they might make bitcoin as a means of investing, then they saving bitcoin in their wallet for a long time and it's a proven, they get a lot of profit when bitcoin prices skyrocket and that means investment which they did succeed.

It is an advantage for those people who are saving bitcoin for future and not for a short trading purposes. I'm aware that bitcoin volatility will give an opportunity to have a good profit but this needs time and focus which is not free for those who have a job in real life. Holding the smartest way. |

The benefits of holding long term should be obvious to anyone, just look at what happen in this year, if you held bitcoin for a year your investment went up many times over, if you hold for a decade the chances your investment multiplies over many times again is very high, this is not rocket science.
Well hopefully it continues to do so. I'm also a believer of holding btc for a longer period and the possibilities it has for making real good money. But i'm also being cautious about it since after btc shot up real high, even hackers would have high interest in it. Right niwni'm also looking at other alts with the possibility of repeating what btc did a couple of years back. As long as bitcoin does not fork, and I hope it does not then the only thing that bitcoin can do is to go up in the long term, there is new found interest in countries like Japan and the fact the block reward halves are things that make me think the price of bitcoin will keep on increasing. |

I think they saved Bitcoin in their wallet because they thought Bitcoin would increase in the future. Besides, we can see the potential for Bitcoin development, transactions become faster, more and more people are paying attention to it, the government gradually approves it ... so many people save Bitcoin back in his wallet and wait for its price to rise and sell it for a profit |

The best you can do with your bitcoins (to earn big profit) is to hold them for a long time, as you have seen the market value of bitcoin during the past couple of years kept on increasing with respect to time. It is expected that it will keep on increasing in upcoming years as the popularity is increasing day by day, so better to hold bitcoins for a bright future.

If we save many bitcoins today or in the past months and hold it for a long time maybe we can earn a lot of profit from bitcoin. If you are a long term investor you don't need to panic when the price goes down. We just need to believe that bitcoin will reach it's highest point.

Simply because they are investing in bitcoin. In terms of benefits, they benefit in bitcoin if price flactuates how ever things may happeen oppositely if ever it volatiles. If they are traders, they can benefit wether bitcoin volatiles or flactuates. |

Saving bitcoin will always be beneficial to all of us. Make those early bitcoin people as an example, they did earned a lot from being a long time holder. A kid became millionaire and still counting. I thought of storing bitcoin in wallet as a savings. The money you earn is quite big. You can send bank or long term investment in bitcoin. Investing in bitcoin will be more beneficial than bank transfer. Your investment period is long term so you can choose the time to invest and sell the bitcoin to get higher profits. |

As I've read,saving bitcoin for a long time is very good.Especially to those collecting of bitcoins.They used to save it and sold it when price is very expensive.As a bitcoiner In exoecting for all benifits of bitcoin.Because only bitcoiners will be the benificiaries of all benifits of bitcoins.As a user of bitcoin lm thankful because I experience some benifits as bitcoiner now.Im hoping to save bitcoin too,to experience also a big profit of bitcoin. |

Altcoin market is highly volatile and so investments are made in altcoins in short term basis.But investments are made in bitcoins in long term basis as short term investment would not be useful as bitcoin price increase high in long term and gives more profits to its investors.For example,bitcoin price was just $650 in june 2016 and within a year,now its price is $2300.Almost increased by four times.Thats the reason for bitcoin investment done in a long term basis. |
