The number one reason for that is because the value of bitcoin rises from time to time, thats it. Have you heard about that kid who invested a 1000$ in bitcoin and now a millionaire because the value of it are far too different from before, it is freaking high. And with that, a lot of bitcoins holders are motivated to hold on their bitcoins too and hold it for a long time just like what that kids had achieved. I heard from other that it is worth to hold your bitcoin because we know that bitcoin has volatile characteristic. as if you do your own experiment just like what i have done. long time investment when we talking about cryptocurrency like bitcoin i think it is far better to do it instead trading in daily basis. you will save a lot of time to spend there too and just waiting for the right time.
