Vertcoin [VTC][ANN] Segwit Activated | ASIC Resistant Decentralized GPU Mining

I've been waiting since 2014-01-20 ago, waiting for the latest technology, the latest news, progress and price back as the beginning appears. whether the coin controller VTC could no longer make the prices as before?

lol...you and many others.  sorry to say (like BEFORE) this coin is DEAD as hell.  you may see a small "blip" of news with mini pump but that's it.  otherwise move on man.  most of these dead coins from 2014-2015 may have "HAD" big plans back then but most likely they were just fancy coins from devs to hype and then pump/dump with groups.  they've made their money so they don't care to support/maintain the coin now, so it dies.  i know it is hard lesson, but we have ALL learned this with different coins.  vert is dead just like vrc/vrm and via.  via MAYBE has a chance lol. 

but WHY would some people (vrn) spend so much money and effort to systematically block segwit activation on a DEAD coin? this coin is far from dead. and that vrn miner knows it very well also. maybe thay are afraid of VTC with segwit?

    I agree that Vern (vrn) is running a large farm, mining vert, but since he didn't upgrade I have to believe he's just not paying attention.  If he was trying to block segwit you would think he would upgrade and actually block it with no segwit.   Vern has been playing with VTC almost 2 years and has mined almost 2 million coins.  It looks like he might be mining and dumping them.  Didn't follow the block chain that far.

one thing is for sure, lots of money involved in this segwit blocking. very fishy.

and yet you can't resist coming to the thread regularly? Vertcoin has developers and isn't dead. Not even close. There's daily activity on reddit/slack, my wallet is connected to over 60 peers and VTC has a strong P2Pool mining network.

The coins you compare it to really shows your ignorance. Via is 99% mined (22.6 million out of 23 million) and merge-mined with Litecoin. VRC is a generic PoS shitcoin. Vert is only 39% of coins mined (33 out of 84 million) and block halving coming at the end of this year/beginning 2018.

Please keep sharing your thoughts about VTC, its a pleasure to hear from a Hero noob

As a project it was supposed to be an Asic-resistant coin, and it was for a while with Scrypt-N. When Scrypt-N became ASIC mineable, VTC quickly implemented the LYRA2REv2 algo. So it continues to fulfill the objectives it started with

If no one cares as you claim, there would be no miners at all and Vrn definitely wouldn't bother mining with hundreds of GPU's

VTC is dangerous coin for chinese cartel, they know that if Segwit is activate then they loose control over the whole crypto world, that's why they are desperate to come with some sort of agreement (roundtable) or whatever, if ppl make UASF a reality is game over for them, they rely on advantages like ASICBOOST to profit, Segwit is not compatible whit that, they don´t care about blocksize really, they care about profit and influence, Roger Ver is just a Useful idiot that's why they support this BU thing, the ultimate goal is not about blocksize or comunity is all about money and power, VTC is just a collateral damage in this game of thrones, they gonna block every coin that attempt to implement this cancer called Segwit not for philosofical principles or comunity well being, some coins already have Segwit activate, those small coins like Sys and Grs are getting relevance, but confined in the whole spectrum to trade between them, VTC is under those mafia that's cristal clear, "Vrn" now have a friend "Vqr" in this lame attemp to stop the unstoppable but the cat is out of the bag, you can´t stop an a idea and can´t stop the progress, that´s why they are desperate right now, Vertans the bad news is we are under the mining mafia cartel, the good news is they can´t stop this for so long, VTC can make that difference, stay strong, stay focused, cheers.
