Please explain how the coin emission is "totally fukk upp" - it's 50 coins per block at the moment. At block 840,000 (around Dec 2017 - Jan 2018) the emission will be 25 coins per block.

I think the only "fukk upp" here is your trading decisions

I don't think any logic was put into calling it "totally fukk upp". The market cap in November 2016 was around $800,000 and the coin was worth about $0.028. Look at us now.

   I just went through this a few weeks ago.  All I can remember is there was a lot of swearing....    Wish I paid more attention.  There is enough info out there to do it. 

And 400 VTC is a fair bounty to document the process.  I might come back around to it.

HELLO everybody , i am new with this Vertcoin and just few days ago i decided to invest a little in this altcoin . soo ...i decided to test the network first .   Here come the first issues

1. I've dowloaded the last version of the wallet  - vertcoin-v0.11.1.0-windows-64bit.zip  - i've seen the post "Mandatory Wallet Upgrade- SegWit   UASF on 31st May 2017 etc ..."  Is it to early to do so ? i am asking this because this version of wallet does not want syncronise with the network , it is running by 2 hours and still no progress, keep showing me "3 years & 16 weeks behind "     , yet , as per https://bchain.info/vtc/ the blockchain is only 1.38 gb .     what am i doing wrong ?

because power consumption of the existing lyra2re2 algorithm is too high,
and concentrated in big farm miners, and the very powerful machinegun pool is a risk for network security,
lyra2Z has low power consumption advantages compared with lyra2re2 ,

As I understand in 3 days VTC became the first coin with activated lightning. This is historical achivment.
