Well, I finally bought in to Vertcoin at the end of November, seemed like a good time to get in.  I like the idea of this project; I'm all for decentralisation especially with the Shenanigans of the miners on Bitcoin.  The price is holding up pretty well considering Bitcoin has gone on a mad one recently.  I'm pretty optimistic on this project!

Buy 'COSS' at http://coss.io crypto exchange -
All holders earn 50% weekly of all transactions Coss is involved with.

Currently at 10 cents (#330 in the world) and moving up fast.
Much easier to boost your portfolio, plus you earn with COSS.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/coss/

Instead dudes, buy VTC.

Bleeding a bunch due to VTC running to 13k but plenty of good news in the works.
Exciting times.
I am agree with you. Very perspective coin. Vertcoin's Vertical Addressing technology allows businesses to use one agreed address for all their payments without the risk that someone will monitor their transactions. Hidden addresses Vertcoin provide an increased level of privacy and security for both business and consumers. Potential for growth of 500% during the 2018 year.

Just to note the main exchange for VTC, bittrex, has been getting a lot of negative feedback lately. Check out the exchanges section for many "scam" threads: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=223.0

I have over $1000 worth of coins stuck there.  Angry

I agree. We need to keep it hoarding. The coin will go up again and may be next year to at least 20$ for one. Good luck.

Sorry to hear that. I've only experienced but a good relationship with them. Been trading for like a year in Bitrex, never had any issue.
Transfering money to my wallets was almost faster than with Cryptopia (which i really like too ) and the other exchanges

Yeah it looks like they are trying to fix the situation but have approx. 20000 tickets to solve. Of course there's still a chance this is a fraud, scam or they got hacked. Increase in required verification might be also because they are trying get a deal with a bank for BTC-$ trade.

In any case the best advice for VTC traders is to get your account verified first before making a deposit. And to be on the safe side only keep small amounts in bittrex at a time.

People are switching to Litecoin as the currency of use. BTC is far too slow now.
I've had a BTC transaction pending at Coinbase for 39 hours. For this reason, I'll never use BTC again.
LTC has all the momentum right now.

Guys, the new story on the web is about the lighting network and how it will make the Altcoins worthless as BTC will become faster and the fee will drop . What are your thoughts about it ? Do you really believe it will happen ?

There is a lot of attention around fixing BTCs "features". Some are doubtful if the lightning network will actually solve anything while others are confident it will: https://medium.com/@murchandamus/i-have-just-read-jonald-fyookballs-article-https-medium-com-jonaldfyookball-mathematical-fd112d13737a

The most important thing in my opinion is that with the increase in price, there are many (rich) holders who have the motivation and means to dedicate significant development resources for improving Bitcoin. In any case, I do not think altcoins would became worthless, though the playing field will change even faster than before.

Great share . Some also say BTC and some Altcoins will never give up to the transfer fees they are getting . Although technically all sound great, the money may stop the concept to get out from the source.

Not sure the other alt coins would disappear...what happens if there's huge traffic congestion on any one network? Best to have at least 5 solid networks with Ehterium, Bitcoin/lightning, monero, Dash, cash etc....

I think it's a good coin (obviously a newbie opinion  Grin ). Maybe has a bright future, but have to wait maybe the end of 2018 or the beginning of 2019.

I see Vertcoin growing alot more in market cap in the future. It is much better technically and fundamentally as compared to Bitcoin or Litecoin. Vertcoin has to catch up to its peers.
