their marketing is not that bad.. but anyway
marketing is a minor thing when you look on the big picture and the good work that they are doing..
Atomic swap is a great feature that this coin will offer + Stealth ip, is great for the long run..

about the TOR network - it was right
and the second thing was wrong
its not stealth ip , its stealh ADDRESS,
its defending the receiver of the coins
you actually have 1 normal address plus for privacy can receive coin with stealth address
They allow the sender to generate new addresses for the receiver, and sending without anyone watching the blockchain knowing the receiver is the owner of the original stealth address.
"stealth addresses do not afford anonymity but rather forward privacy (they obfuscate where funds are being sent to). Recipients also must scan the blockchain to decipher if any outputs belong to them (and so thin clients become a bit more difficult, because they can no longer simply poll a server for an address balance)."

so the sender can still see your wallet, but others can not.

I didn't start getting payments for blocks until about 8 hours after I started mining, Is this normal?

Another question is I am getting payments that are about 1/4 of other people in the list with similar hashrates.

Yes, with p2pool it takes a while to get first payment sometimes, and then your payments will build up over time to maximum. You will also continue to get payouts for some time after you stop mining too, so it's not unfair, it's just a different reward system.
