Dogecoin has been my favorite alt coin for quite a long time. It serves as a good cryptocurrency for tipping others, as well as being a fun and inexpensive medium of exchange.

However, I'm worried what might happen to Dogecoin in the future, since it has been quite some time that no new version of the QT wallet has been mentioned, neither some innovation to keep it going for the long term.

It would become ideal for Dogecoin to add SegWit to its code, and gain traction if it gains acceptance from the miners. Then, if it manages to become the first cryptocurrency to accept the scalable solution, it could rise in popularity once more (not to mention that transaction will be near instantaneous).

Nevertheless, Dogecoin is a great cryptocurrency being inexpensive and relatively stable, making it a great way to tip others or send micropayments faster than BTC at a fraction of the cost.

I don't really think Dogecoin still have a chance to rise and have a bright future, it's because its price is already falling down and the value of this coin is only a little, it doesn't have a big possibility that dogecoin have a bright future

Very long term, I can imagine Doge being like an ancient beloved relic, a piece of history that represents a time when it was relevant. Hard to imagine it being relevent forever - but who knows. It was almost considered one of the originals, so anything can happen.

I dont see Dogecoin has good future, because since 2013 the price not really given fantastic return. This coin does not have any good fundamental, should the developer make inovation and make partnership with third party so the demand can to increase. Dogecoin is good coin, the cheapest coin at the moment and will be easy to make profit from it, if the fundamental strong.

Yes of course, no offense to those Dogecoin investors but I also agree that Dogecoin has no better future to come if it will not get a chance to increase again it's price. And as I know many coins are now more relevant than that now and many investors are more active in a better coins that will make their investment more active in growth not in a coin that will not stop on growing. no, even before, i dont see dogecoin some improvement on its price. its price range is on 20sats up to 100 sats only, and I never have seen before any hype or something changes about its price. unlike other altcoins who have passed their old prices already, and still moving forward.

It is my first time to know dogecoin. In my own opinion, it will have a future. It will really last, I am positive for that coin. It is in its name, dogecoin, its like a dog. A dog is man's bestfriend, so as dogecoin. Anyway, it is just my perception.
