Hi all, i had a really hard year now. i want to know more so now i can swap the XLR coins i have to new chain directly sending from old wallet to an address like the swap before happen or i can simply send to txbit exchange and the swap is done there and i withdraw after from there?

Please do not send your old Solaris to txbit exchange as the swap has already been done on there. The only way now is to do it manually by sending your old Solaris to the address on the swap site and entering your new Solaris address using the new wallet.

Everything you need to know about the swap can be found here: https://medium.com/@solarisXLR/solaris-platform-is-here-swap-details-inside-2f1e91eb17cb

I am interested on what's in here after the swap. Will the new blockchain be favourable to Solaris Project? I am curious what other innovation and advancement of technology will Solaris be offering to the public?
Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

IMHO the transition seems to be ambiguous.
At one side as it is based now on .net and nodejs two complex technology stacks with huge community it become really easy to develop some applications for it and integrate with other projects.
On the other side this means more complex software with more possible vulnerabilities.
Shortly: more flexible, less secure.

Help needed.
After converting to new wallet, was able to make a stake and after that the wallet stuck at block 58067 and no matter what I do it doesn't unfreeze.
Moved the wallet to 3 different PC, the wallet doesn't want to start downloading blocks.
Which is more weird, when on a PC with stuck wallet, I generate new wallet it goes beyound the block height of the stuck wallet.
Waiting it since 29-th december, so I don't suspect it will eventually fix and wallet is falling behind.
Any ideas?

Where did you get the news on verification on txbit.io? The exchange was built as KYC-free for months and I have never seen any news or plans from the Solaris team that txbit.io requires KYCs. If it is an official news, could you give me link, please.

Thank you for two news, from them I understood that these changes on KYC/AML are required by laws and Solaris team don't have other decisions. They have to obey local rules. Furthermore, from those news, I knew one promising thing, that is Solaris team move their headquarter to Estonia, that might help the project and the exchange in the long term. That nation is very crypto-friendly, and I thought it is a very smart and good movements made by Solaris and txbit.io teams.

I think it will help but not sure about KYC. Not sure what the laws are in Estonia but I know some countries do allow for a certain amount to be withdrawn before having to do KYC. StakeCube allows $1k USD value daily and if you want to withdraw more then that you will need to do KYC so maybe txbit could do something like this in the future if Estonia allow this to happen.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

If the local authorities in Estonia have not yet required KYC mandatorily, it is only a temporary situation. Sooner or later, all nations will require KYC for crypto-related things, exchanges, casinos, tradings, ie. ATM, there are big differences between nations, some nations require KYCs, while some others don't and people tend to have bad feelings on KYC-required exchanges, ATM. To be competitive, at least at the current common conditions, exchanges should be non-KYC-required.

I'm not sure on what the requirements are for Estonia with KYC but I believe they are no as strict as the Netherlands rules. I still think that there could be a way where users can withdraw a small amount daily without KYC, just like I mentioned with StakeCube but I don't know which country StakeCube is based. If txbit could get an agreement like this then I think it will make everyone happy.

IN a short term, it is a wise decision to move to Estonia, but in the long term, I don't know (as I discussed previously). I totally agree with you on this point, non-KYC for small amount of withdrawal daily (like what we also have with Binance) and KYC-required for amount of withdrawal that exceeds the maximum amount to be allowed without KYC. It is more comfortable for users and that sort of comfortableness will attract new users to txbit.io.

Yes I think something can be done for small withdrawals where there is a daily limit of say $1k. If StakeCube is able to do this then other exchanges could do this. I agree that if txbit is able to have something like this that it will attract more users to their exchange, I would like to hear what the dev has to say about this and if it is possible for txbit to implement this to their exchange while the company is based in Estonia.

Any particular reason for the swap from the old blockchain to this new XLR blockchain? I hope the swap will be for the good of hodlers, anyways.
