I really don't know what crash the price initially,or maybe is just the handiwork of whales shaken off weak hands, people need to see beyond the present price of Bitcoin, once the scaling issue is resolved I believe we are set for the moon

Don't worry, why you should doubt bitcoin? Why sell it at lower price if you can sell it at higher one, set your target. When bitcoin price dropped back below $1150, I said it's too late to sell. Well, different story if you want some profit as daily traders do, go a head and sell your bitcoin. But, if you are not in hurry or desperate need for money, there is no reason to panic sell obviously. Bitcoin always recover and rise up again. |

Probably an announcement from several exchanges about the fork. Because there is no reason for Bitcoin to drop in price until the announcement where made. But I think people who wanted to buy at a lower price came into the scene and push the button of Bitcoin to recovery. I hope this recovery will continue until we are back on where we are before this dip. |

Buy now till it's under 1100$. https://blockchain.info/marketsVinny lingham released an article today and was all over twitter taking about how he sold 90% of his bitcoin earlier in the month. i wouldnt be surprised if that is what caused a sell off. His article also spoke about how the price needs to be lower to force the hand of miners to compromise. So i dont think we are out of the woods yet, i think it will be pretty volatile over the next couple weeks. |

Some capricious people (especially the Chinese ) are always trying to make bitcoin's price go down by their strategies. Events, news, dumps are factors that make Bitcoin price go low. It's like we're fighting for freedom here, but our opponent are those non-believers of Bitcoin and those who is jealous by its potential. It will recover of course, it's lowering price is a sign that it will have a higher price soon, just hang on. Who knows, maybe the price may go up to 2000$ by the end of the year.

That's good to see. I thought it would take longer for the price to recover. There is still the possibility of some drops for the next few weeks. The fork proposal and the scaling issue are things that will surely require a long time to be resolved.

Well that's a relief. I thought it would continue to decline. There are still unresolved issues though. All this talks of a fork is making people uneasy so I don't think prices would stabilize soon or go back to pre-dip levels. Hopefully people keep buying to raise the price a bit more to offset whatever decreases are being caused by scared weak hands dumping their coins out of fear.

bitcoin price is down and crash because about bitcoin unlimited issue i think before bitcoin unlimited issue still not clear and consensus still not finish, bitcoin price not stable and always down trend |

I think its too long again to see that the price will hit back above in $1200 but i think it will stay long here at $1,000 in this level. hope that it will not going more below $1k.. If there is new good news about bitcoin sooner or later the price of bitcoin will increase back..

i think still there is some commotion in the market of bitcoin and that is the reason that we can see such a huge fluctuation in the price of bitcoin. hope the price of bitcoin will recover its position very soon. |

We are expecting that soon and I'm glad also to see the price going back slowly again, this time should be consistent and those who were able to buy cheap bitcoins should be lucky now watching the price grow. The panic is done I guess, and I hope most of you guys does not sell your precious coins and do the opposite which is buying.

It's because of BU, rogercoin and his disciples that made the price of bitcoin dropped under $1k and right now for sure they are going to regret what he'd done. The price to be back again and is now getting hard time to comeback to $1.2k but I'm sure that it's going to rise again rapidly just like on how did it fall rapidly. |

i say the price is going to be fluctuating even more in this week until the whales can fill their bags with bitcoin with very cheap prices preferably under $1000
you know that all those 200BTC batches that were dumped on $1200+ should be bought back now so that you can make profit.

i am hoping that bitcoin price is recovering and reach the price like before but after what we see in the market, then i think bitcoin price now is too slow to reach the higher price. but i am still believe that the price will be get back soon. i am not worried if the price is suddenly gets down like yesterday because its the right time for me to buy another bitcoin with cheap price. |

We all got the rides of our lives when the price almost reached $1300 very quickly a couple of weeks ago. Now we are slowly recovering and stabilizing at the low $1000 level. I hope it doesn't go too high too soon, because it is almost certain that the price is going down once it surges too fast. |

I guess we already saw the BU vs Bitcoin Core issue that's curently plaguing the bitcoin ecosystem. We already past the ETF rejection and bitcoin price is not affected. The price wil rise up if we are going to buy it now, and it is the best time to get it because the price is down. There will be some investors out there that will buy huge amount of bitcoin secretly  that will cause the rise of bitcoin price again. Maybe not a sudden rise of price but a steady climb and we wouldn't notice the price is at the $1200-$1300 again in a few months. |
