Whales and miners does manipulate a lot the bitcoin price that affect all the market since all altcoins traded against bitcoin, as January bitcoin were up and went donw 300 dollars, some were able to get more bitcoins with this dump, and thats why bitcoin has soo many interest around, even dumping people making money into it.

Bitcoin price is recovering every day ! I knew the price will comes back as what it used to be or near it. Pretty sure it will reach the 1200$ mark again. I am currently waiting this so i can sell my bitcoin for shopping  I saw a dress i would like to get for the spring  |

The prices will soon drop again. No one will accept BTU. ONly Chinese and lunatics love this idiot coin. Bitcoin is over. We will not accept BTU and there will be battle between Bitcoiners which will make the Bitcoin collapse. I hope that miners will change their minds and start to use Segwit instead of BTU. BTU will destroy the whole decentralized system in Bitcoin which has existed for 8 years

Can you explain little more? You say Bitcoin is over... now what are you thinking exactly and how this is logical? ETH is over that had been forked ? IF will happen will be take the prices down because everybody will sell to buy back more but how you can say it's over? |

Good news dude ! Bitcoin price is recovering little by little . From 950 $ some hours ago to 1066$ now ! Buy now till it's under 1100$. https://blockchain.info/marketsGood news but dont rejoice too much because bitcoin price that you are rejoicing over that is going higher might just take the reverse bearing within the twinkle of an eye. Although I am equally happy with the ways things are turning out but I dont want to keep my hopes high since I dont want to be disappointed at the end of the day. Lets just keep our hands fold and see how things will turn out. Nothing is predictable when it comes to bitcoin we just need to go along with the flow and constant market updates and researches to make sure we sell the bitcoin at the peak and buy it during the time when the price drops. Actually this time I was also worried because the price decreases quite quickly and then it was just keeping to fall and I also sold a little amount of my stack of coins. I though never got too worried because its obvious that if we see the price getting too low then we can wait a few months and then it will restore to their actual value. |

It was kind of like someone let go of a stretched out elastic. We went BOOM down $300, back up 150, down 80... it's just so all over the place. I don't think we're recovering I think there was an upwards correction after the panic selling.

There will be always some problem in the background which will influence bitcoin's price:
1. Early price shifts and market susceptible to manipulation during early years.
2. Chinese leverage trading and bot trading which caused ATH in 2013.
3. Potentially negative legislation which plagued BTC in 2015.
4. Halving effect in 2016.
6. PBoC intervention in early late 2016, early 2017.
7. Scaling problem and forking issue in 2017.

The price is moving rapidly and i am not too sure what the reason is for the recovery and then going down,the only reason said was the talk of a hard fork and even then the coin recovered significantly day before yesterday only to be dumped yesterday once again.Hope that everything will be settled pretty soon.

I cant just imagine me being the head of a government in my country and allowing some unknown men in the world of technology to be controlling my economy due to the power they have on bitcoin. Now u cant say where it will fall. Where the elephants fight the grasses suffer, to save some peoples money they want ethereum to assume the position of bitcoin. It has always been difficult to make decision where there is no head, this is what will be expected as long as bitcoin exists.

Well that's a relief. I thought it would continue to decline. There are still unresolved issues though. All this talks of a fork is making people uneasy so I don't think prices would stabilize soon or go back to pre-dip levels. Hopefully people keep buying to raise the price a bit more to offset whatever decreases are being caused by scared weak hands dumping their coins out of fear.
I feel no doubt on what is happening on bitcoin right now. Because will all know the bitcoin price start from a low price on a very start and the increase of its price is much more that it drops form now. The change of price just happen because there are thing happening on bitcoin it could be the change of support of community, the changes on demands or maybe there will be a progress that will going to happen. Just like maintenance break. |

The only panic sales of the bitcoin after hearing the rumors hardfork suddenly the price went down, maybe they think the price will go down, so they immediately sell them together in large numbers, but if I see a bright side, the ownership of bitcoin became more evenly with their this, now prices have started to normal more slowly because the issue is familiar to users hardfork bitcoin.

Actually for me the price is a bit high as of the moment and im waiting for a big price drop to buy a lot of btcs. Even if it drops to 700 or 800, we're sure that it will bounce back a lot stronger |
