Someone want change 27 BTU for BTC please PM me, only serious offers thanks. Is BTU still a thing? Last I heard it had mutated to become just another bcash client and no longer aims to make its own hard fork(s).

Ver lined his already lined up pockets even more when he and his associates created Bitcoin cash. According to Ver and the couple of whale that helped created Bitcoin Cash it is the "real" Bitcoin. This was what Roger Ver did when the the interviewer called his fork "Bcash". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCOjCEth6xI Just to make it clear, Bitcoin is Bitcoin. The closest thing to it currently is Bitcoin Cash, which is freely traded on many exchanges.

He and everything he does should just be ignored. You shouldn’t listen to anyone that was a founding member of the Bitcoin Foundation, Ver, Erik Voorhees, James McCarthy and so on. Honestly, would you take investing advice from Danny Brewster of Neo & Bee or Colin Armitt of CryptoXchange? Of course not. So why would anyone listen to anything Ver has to say?

Currently that net worth is estimated at $ 50 Million by 2015 and the number of transactions is almost the same. There are people who take such risks just to prove that he is right or not !.

Ver lined his already lined up pockets even more when he and his associates created Bitcoin cash. But BCH and BTU are different. It's like this: * In BTC the blocksize limit is a consensus rule which cannot be changed without overwhelming support from users. * In BTU the miners set the blocksize limit without considering the users. * In BCH Roger and his buddies set the blocksize limit without considering the miners or the users.

OMG, that's really huge amount of BTC, don't believe Roger is going to do anything. Anyway no one in the community needs him. A lot of people do not appreciate how Ver has inadvertently or otherwise tried to destroy Bitcoin but in this alleged deal it seems Ver was up to the deal and looking forward to it but the OP did not respond at least publicly here in the thread. Had the deal gone ahead he would have had 120,000 BTC instead of his 60,000 BTC and an increase of wealth. Ver neded up with those and well, got more wealthier than before the fork. I really have not much time for Ver but on this one it seems he wanted to do the swap but the OP made the offer and never followed it through. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCOjCEth6xI

A lot of people do not appreciate how Ver has inadvertently or otherwise tried to destroy Bitcoin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCOjCEth6xI It can't really be understated just how much he has been trying to damage Bitcoin. It's pretty ridiculous really. And it's been going on for years now. Constant attacks. He is a great example of a bad actor in the Bitcoin economy. And how much people can change and fly off the rails even when seemingly they're working against their own financial interest and doing things many would consider stupid. People's emotions can overpower a lot of their critical thinking capabilities.

I don't know what's funnier in this case, the fact that the Bitcoin Foundation apparently still exists, or that Roger of all people is considered an 'Honored Speaker'. Maybe I missed something happening the last few years, but I remember the foundation going down in flames pretty hard.

They hired a known pedophile to the board and started selling child porn on the deep web for BitcoinCash. LOL

LOL I'm guessing that must be the Brock guy who was a child actor in some semi-big movies, right? That or they're adding more shady people with weird links to pedos...yikes.

I was joking but yeah, they did hire that Brock pedo. The Bitcoin Foundation was never a serious organization. TBF was a collection of the initial criminals that controlled bitcoin. They had a lot of clout with the core bitcoin users of the early days and were able to scam tons of money from forum users for membership fees and donations. Roger Ver was one of the founding scumbags along with his criminal co-conspirators Mark Karpeles, Charlie Shrem, Peter Vessenes and Gavin Andresen. All of them ended up being ether grifters like Vess or were outright sent to prison like Shrem. They are gone now. I think they were desolved in 2015-16 because it was discovered the grifters, perverts and convicts were hiding the fact that the organization was completely insolvent (they stole all the money and closed the doors).

Is he still knee deep in the pile with Craig Wright the scammer? From where I was sitting it looked like he got fully taken in by the con and pretty much ruined his reputation. Pretty wild situation. I don't know what he could possibly be thinking.
