Hi Guys,

Having a problem with a Giant B here

I can access every single page on the web interface other than 'miner' where I obviously need to access to point it to my pool.

Any way to fix this? I was told this was a new machine but its quite obviously used, so could someone have locked this page?

Really appreciate any help and will offer a BTC reward to anyone who can solve this.

Thanks

So I got the following problem.

I tried tos et a static IP on my Baikal Giant B, and probably made a typo or some such when configuring the interfaces file. Now the Miner is not getting an IP anymore, so I can't access the web interface anymore.

Is there any way to access the Miner via USB or something? I've tried plugging in micro usb into it, but my Computer isnt finding anything. It's really a shame this thing doesnt just have a reset button.

Tried contacting support already but they've been unhelpful to say the least.

Bought used one baikal x10 on ebay. Basically miner loves to stop hashing. First it won't let me log in and after a while just stops hashing. Red blue lights flashing. Any clue how to fix it?
Messed up ebay refund and paypa refund they asked for paper work from repair shop as proof that miner is really broken but how to get something like that. No one deals with asics

Hi there,

Just got my BK-B, and I am having difficulty connecting to Nicehash.

EU/USA pools, for all coins are shown 'dead'. I tried rebooting the miner, the router, to no avail.

I also pinged Nicehash and put the IP stratum+tcp://159.253.132.18:3356 as a pool, also dead.

Can anybody help?

Thanks!

Try resetting / restoring the stock example pools in the backup section. Change the existing lines with pools with your new pools according to algorithm. Delete not needed lines with stock pools afterwards and save.

@Andartis

You my man, are brilliant!

I was ready to start flashing a new image to de SD-card, and was getting desperate. But this is a really easy solution.

I write it down so everyone can find it through Google.

Baikal BK-B Nicehash Dead Pools Problem?

Trouble connecting to Nicehash Pools? If all pools are working, but Nicehash is showing DEAD, than restore the sample pools and afterwards replace them by your Nicehash Pools. Do not 'add' the Nicehash pools as new pools, they will show DEAD, but replace the existing pools by the Nicehash pools.

All credits to Andartis for this solution!

Here is the next one:
Hanging miner? Hashrate dropping? Pool shows dead?
Restart the miner every 12 or 8 hours by crontab to avoid problems:

Log in to terminal with login "baikal" and pass "baikal".
Besides: "sudo reboot" reboots manually if you prefer to do it manually when needed.
Warning: some times the webinterface hangs and you need to power off and on again (not very often but happens).

To reboot automatically:
Type "sudo crontab -e", chose nano.
Add lines at bottom:
0   00   *   *   *   /sbin/reboot
0   08   *   *   *   /sbin/reboot
0   16   *   *   *   /sbin/reboot
(Add space by pressing tab.)

This will reboot miner at 00, 08, and 16 o clock.
You can check if the reboot worked by checking the uptime. Simply type "uptime" in the console and it shows how long the miner runs.

Cheers

Bought a used baikal mini & the Orange pi keeps sending the cpu error unable to set 1536Mhz.  Saw this mentioned previous.  Is there any solution?  Also the login 'baikal' says wrong password on the site.  Assume this is due to the orange pi error.

Thanks for any help.

How do you keep you baikal miners running cool. We all know how to extract hot air from the S9's but with a couple of baikal miners in a room with no rear extractor fans.

Hi there,
I have the famous "no devices running" issue on a Baikal Giant N.
Pools are fully configured and are loaded.
Yesterday, I had a power outage and since then the fan does not speed up full speed anymore.
It just spins very quietly, stops spinning for less than a second and spins very quietly again.
All hints for the issue which I was able to find on the internet and in this forum did not help resolving the issue.
Does anyone know how to further troubleshoot or even better, fix this issue?
Image has been re-flashed. I even changed the Orange PI already but all without success.
thanks in advance

After several restarts the mini & a single slave are operating fine.  Seems it took a couple of 'starts' for my router to assign an IP address.

So I decided to update my Giant X10 to get the new algos added. The miner was working perfect, except missing the additional 2 new algos. When I fired it back up, both ethernet lights stay solid yellow and green, and there is one blue light flashing on one blade, and one green flashing on another. I am unable to find an ip address for it. I used PI Zero GX10 V1.2. I have powered it on and off several times, and checked all the pins to the pi controller are seated perfectly. When I used windisk imager , it said successful. Any ideas? Please help, this really sucks Sad

Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

Does anybody know where I could order a fan for a Baikal A900? (I'm in the US) I have a unit that has three broken fan blades. I don't care if I have to cut wires and splice with the wires from the old fan, just want to find a replacement that will work. Please and thank you.
