I agree, setting the hardcap in dollar will prevent the project from being overvalued or overfunded as the price of eth increased so much lately. More money doesn't mean it's better as with more money the team can be distracted from their original plan. The team should think the best decision for this problem.

Yes, many people are predicting the difference between the Golem and Sonm because Sonm has a new feature when compared to Golem so it might be a most reputable coin in coming days. But Dev team should prove themselves to make Sonm more powerful when compared to Golem.

Yes, the current exchange rate of 606 SNM per 1 ETH means that 1 SNM will be like $0.30 which is a substantial price per token for an ICO. However this might coinsidentaly solve the problem with the ICO ending in 12 hours and being largely dominated by huge whales who later dump 10% of the whole token supply at the same time and destroy the price. They'll also be hard pressed to obtain so many tokens like they did in previous ICO campaigns and this will probably make the campaign run for maybe a few days at least, allowing more regular people to join in albeit with smaller shares.

Yes, I think They will collect a big fund to develop SONM project perfectly and fully and they will have much financial source to do it in the future.
I believe this project will reach a big success after ICO launching finished.

Making it USD based is the best thing as currently the BTC/ETH price is so unstable that if the price falls, they will lose and not be able to achieve their plan. They should have some fixed kind of investment plan to make this project stable and not make it dependent too much on BTC/ETH prices.

The more I look into it the more I think there will be a correction to these numbers. When they were announced everything was calculated for 1ETH= about $50. SONM needed something like $10 million to realise their project, not 50 million. They'll likely revise this, but they're probably waiting for ICO date to draw a bit closer since god knows how much will 1 ETH cost then.
