What is the advantage for SONM if they collect all the funds in 5 minutes?
From my perspective they can only collect all the money in a short period if only a limited number of participants spend huge amounts. But if more people could invest in this project they would have more supporters.

I read the discussions on the cap of SONM. It is not the question if they can collect 1000 gazillion USD or not ... So my statement is not restricted to SONM - it is more a question of timing (and number of investors). So, what is the advantage to collect the funds in a very short period?

There is no doubt this project will sell out before the date set by the team, anyone serious investors know the team understand what they are actually doing unlike Golem project which to me seems to be gambling with investors fund. Time will surely tell.

Post the software and github links so we can see you are not a pure scam.
Your whitepaper is 20 pages of crap and no where does it even say what algo all these devices will be
mining. It seems you are heavily into ETH, but do you really think a cell phone or playstation is
going to mine dagger? Put some specifics into the whitepaper about the mining instead of pre-funding
and then funding a vaporware ICO.

One week is sufficient time to raise money to invest in SONM to be sure of having some tokens. I highly doubt that crowdfunding campaign will last 24 hours. I will be wonder if all the available tokens will not be sold within hours. This is what happened to similar projects in last few days. SONM even can see all money coming more quicker than those.

Too much people compared sonm project with golem, this is already discussed before ..
But clearly every project has its own advantages..

There is no comparison with another project because each project will overcome problems in the previous project. We have to consider it and we have to encourage it, who knows Golem will do more better than SONM in the market.

Okay were less than a week away from the sale. When do you anticipate updating the cap numbers?

There's just a lot of things I want to buy and would like to know ASAP. So I can go on a shopping spree, with or without SONM.

This is the nearest Ico, which can attract a lot of money. Although compared to other similar projects, this is the weakest.
