I have saved my .dat file somewhere as I plann to park for a very long time. Is it going to happen one day that MNX team are going to update the minex wallet which we use to park on mnxbank? If this will happen woukld our .dat file would be irrelevant in recovering our coins.

I can't preddict what will hapend after listing at trex or polo I agree we need another exchange for Minexcoin. I wonder what will happen if we get trex or polo, more volume will be a good thing for Minex. With the growth we are on now, it seems like 20 dollars is easy to obtain. But with the limited supply of Minex I believe 20 dollars is very cheap. We might be seeing a price far higher than 20 dollars in the future. |

It will. Just the same as Bitcoin and other altcoin forks of it. Forks and update are not new in cryptocurrency world. You can still use your own address with your private keys or wallet.dat file if the wallet is upgraded. |

Oh and another thing , if anybody dumps MNX they are basically throwing out the baby with the bathwater. I understand some will want to sell to collect their weekly earnings, most are using minexbank for a residual income that is now quickly becoming their main income.
