I picked up an Sapphire 570 Pulse Mini Itx model recently to try out Eth and dual mining, after watching a few videos and reading up I am managing 28.28mh/s Eth  and 677mh/s Decr steady on the card, My GPU only power draw according to GPU-Z is 130-134w. I am not sure if this is good/bad/ or about average. I would like to know if it is possible to squeeze more out of the card, but to do that I think it would require custom memory straps/timings am I correct in assuming this.

I'm able to get ~29MHs on Sapphire RX570 NITRO+ 4G.

It's pulling 145W though...

Straps: 777000000000000022AA1C00315A6B3CA0550F15B68C1506006AE4007C041420CA8980A90200000 01712262B612B3715
Memory mV: 850
GPU Max: 2000
MEM Max: 2250

Looking for any advice which can lower the power drained from the wall and some better straps Smiley.

Minor tweak, increase memory volts to 925 power consumption range went from 129-134 to 132-138 however. My hashrate for eth is consistant at 28.3 and my Decred rate is consistent at 679.5
What else should I do to this card to get the performance up or am I at the wall? tiny update, I undervolted the GPU Core slightly my Power consumption fluctuates between 125-134w.  Consistant hash still of 28.3 and 679-680

So far this is the best I can do with the Sapphire 570 ITX with Hynix memory. According the GPU-Z the Power draw is 140w. It is consistant at 28.5Mh/s Eth and 684Mh/s Decred. Dcri set to 24. If I set Decri to 25 I get 28.4Mh.s Eth and 715Mh.s Decred. I have 2 GTX 1060's to test, 4 RX 560's with Micron. and a Gigabyte 580. I have tinkered with one of the 560's just a bit had it at 14.0 Eth and 315 Decred.

Undervolted the Core by 100, both hashrates are still the same and according to GPU-Z card only power draw is 120w, gonna see how stable this is over the weekend

New Sapphire RX 570 4GB with Hynix, best I can do is 24.17 Mh/s on ETH only and that's using the memory strap BIOS mod.  Stock or OC seems to make no difference.  I can cut power from 104W to 86W though by changing the power limit to 80% or 90%.  Increasing the memory clock from 1750 to anything higher actually cuts my hash rate slightly.

I'm not entirely unhappy with that as my GTX 1060 only gets 23.2 Mh/s but I'd really like to know how people get 28+ Mh/s.  Is it just luck of the draw with certain cards?

I cannot control anything on my RX 570 except fan speed using Afterburner.  When I try to change the memory clock for example it just snaps back to 0.  Any idea why?

What Radeon drivers do you have installed, the latest ones break Afterburner support, revert to the drivers before the most current.

Also did use Polaris Bios editor to change the maximum memory clock to 2050?

You should be able to get 28.1-28.2 on that card with the current DAG

I got from a RX570 nitro 4GB with Hynix and a strap from bughatti(was the best in test of 6 different) in max 28,5 Mh/s out (tuned with 875mV), with a 580 I got 29,5 Mh/s - all stable. The clock max. 2070MHz.
Just to give you a feeling for realistic values.

Update aug 20th: with the new claymore 9.8 and new AMD beta driver blockchain optimized, I get now 29,7Mh/s with the RX 570 and 30,8Mh/s with the 580

i can reach 29+ with 570 sapphire nitro+ .

mem clock can't exceed 2070...

Card seem to have 2 types of mem ( micro+hynix)
have anyone tried to also strap the first 1:xxxx strings referring to micron?

I will rollback the driver but I'm not too worried about Afterburner, using Wattman for now.

I used the Anorek 1500 memshift BIOS and am getting 22.5 Mh/s, 620 Mh/s dual ETH/SC but that's the best I can do.  I can change mem clock using Wattman and I see absolutely no change in hash rate either up or down.  I verify that the clock actually changed via both Wattman and GPU-Z.  That doesn't make sense, I have no idea what the problem is or if this card is just incapable of getting any more out of it than that.

Again, it's a Sapphire RX 570 PULSE 4GB Hynix.  This is my first AMD card and I have an XFX RX 570 on the way so I hopefully that one goes a lot easier.

EDIT:  Did a clean driver uninstall and tried both 17.7.2 and 17.7.4 (driver only)and Afterburner just will not work on the AMD card (works fine on two Nvidia cards).  I can control the fan just fine but the clock sliders are greyed out and are sitting at zero.  I can change them but when I click the apply they go back to zero.   So frustrating.  I've had more trouble with AMD cards.  Nvidia cards just work.

Hello.

Recently I bought RX 570 4GB Sapphire Nitro+ and I got it with Elpida memory. I flashed it with custom bios and I get 29.1mh/s on 1132/2000 with about 170W usage(!!!!!). Any1 have better bios for power saving ?
Undervolt it.

Is anyone else struggling with the new MSI Armor OC RX 570? (4gb hynix). I know these are not the best cards but it was all that was in stock

On stock they do 20-21 MH/s and whatever I do, either the cards crash or the hashrate goes down. Tried mem-strapping, upping the powerlimit, changing the memclock, etc.. Just a note, when you look at the Bios it is an E2 instead of the E1 we had on older cards..

Show cooler - cools only the core, and everything else (including GDDR5) cooks.

I made progress. Close to 27 mh/s per card (with dual mining, but low DCRI) with temps around 60 degrees celcius (Fanspeed 70%). Guess time to learn how to set all the Afterburning settings into the bios so I can swap some rigs over to linux. After the bios mod only 4 cards work in one pc.  Roll Eyes

What did you change?  I have the same card with 5E2 bios.

Sorry I did not notice that as a topic tittle is hashrate of rx 570..
Anyway is really possible to get more than 33mhs stable from any rx card?
And as we have higher and higher dificulty card efficiency (mhs/w will became more and more important).
And I would like you what is the best ratio which you have seen?

Yes, I've done it. And I've not paid attention to my best ratio, but I DID hit 30MH/s on a 580 8G on 0.7875V (Linux.)

Hi,
How much you can hit with your bios mod on a sapphire 470 nitro 8GB, i have 30-30.5 MH for 0.87V.
Is it possible to have more.

Try the new AMD beta driver and Clymore 9.8, then you can get some more out

hi all !!

does anyone know the hashrate of Sapphire VGA Radeon RX 570 Nitro+ 4GB???

is it any good compared to the pulse model ??

Does 8gb of ram instead of 4gb makes a lot of difference in the hashrate?

thanks in advance !!

Bill Hicks was right about....everything

Are you actually suggesting that "MSI Armor OC RX 570" has particularly shitty cooling?
If it's the case maybe you can advice on the poorly designed coolings that you are aware of?

...also I think Asus Strix has no heatsink over the mem chips, yet is seems sort of okay.

I'd say that with bios mod and underclocking you will see 28-28.5.
generally the rate you should be able to get from Polaris is somewhere in a range from 27 to 30.
With 8GB versions that normally use faster memory modules than 4GB ... you can get to the upper limits of ~30
