Would it be better for panda to sell just the system without the GPU and we add ourselves?

Would it be better for panda to sell just the system without the GPU and we add ourselves? it would cost less to ship, thats for sure but they would have to greatly increase the cost of their boards to make reasonable profit on them. So you'd see something like $500+ with CPU/heatsink included to be profitable and make it worthwhile. I'd probably pay $400-500 for a custom board like that but not many would. Maybe we as a community put together something to show interest?

You could probably mass produce them and they are lightweight and easy to ship. We might just be giving them a million dollar idea.

Nowhere near that sound. This is 70db and like a deep sound
Which Speed do you get on dual mining? like DCR I heard at least one or two people say they don't wanna dual mine on the pandas because it may shorten the lifespan of the gpus

ZEC and XMR at full speed looks OK.

I disagree but maybe there are some settings that would work okay. my model 1 could dual mine and not over heat but I had stock bios. My cards did 28mh I could do some dcr and drop to 26.5 mh with 600h for the dcr. I used claymore which allowed for -ethi and -dcri I would do 5 and 40 but i mostly ran zec . as it used less power.

They look a lot bigger than other MX cards and 2-3x as big as Panda B1 model's cards. - You guys who think we shouldn't be dual mining (and some of you dont even want to run on full speed) do you have any information or data to backup the dangers of doing this? Seems you'd need quite concrete info to forgo dual mining DCR or something else when it's adding ~20-25% more profit.

running a gpu flat out shouldnt hurt it. ive mined btc back in the day and did folding at home for years, so i pushed cards pretty hard. that being said i dual mine my cards. and i think most peoples problems when dual mining are card settings (like flashing new straps, OCing too much, overvolting them), cooling or power related. full disclosure.. i killed a msi 470 gaming x last week and it was dual mining at the time. cant say that directly killed it as my 4 other cards dual mine fine. and those cards are much older than the msi 470. the b3 panda gpus.. those look like standard short (itx sized) computer 470 pcie cards. just with custom heatsinks.

I've killed 5 RX 470's over the past 8 months and all of them were running VERY conservative clocks/volts, were adequately cooled, and were never dual mined with. Some cards just die, life of a miner.

What do you guys think of the stock B3+ PSU?
good enough? or buy something else?
Not really sure how important the PSU is in rigs like these.

Did you manage to exchange them under the warranty?

Did you manage to exchange them under the warranty? Yes thankfully. And since I originally posted this, two more have left for the silicon afterlife

You can dual mine I just don't because I am out of power and can't afford to turn that on. I'll get you some watt testing on it later today. I would do DCRI like 16 I think. That dont effect ETH and mines DCR.

I ahve a ton of them and the PS seems pretty decent. I would not hesitate to buy them if I were you all. 240V ONLY POWER SUPPLY be mindful of that.

What about efficiency? Have you guys tried plugging your Panda's into a brand name high rated PSU and compared the power usage?
