Your first suggestion makes good sense, if more people start selling or asking for payment in form of Bitcoin, then it is more available for us and others to earn. But for earning you really cannot say something like gamble, for it means you risk capital in hope of gain. Investment not exactly the same as earning, for sure.

You missed the best way to earn bitcoins and that is from signature campaign as it is the easiest and risk free way to earn bitcoins and apart from that all other methods will involve certain level of risk.

Putting your bitcoin in trading is a faster earning way than just holding your money in your bitcoin wallet. Yes you will not gonna earn bitcoin by just holding it in your wallet, but if the value sky rocket up you can convert it to fiat so you can save the added value when it goes down, but I think it is a bit too slow to earn this way, and yes asking bitcoin as payment for your job can do, if your boss knows about it! and I suggest you can make a online shop that you can accept bitcoin as payment that is one thing you can probably earn bitcoin.

Since you can always do something and then get paid with bitcoins, there's unlimited number of ways to earn bitcoins. This is one of the reasons that makes me wonder why other people are having a hard time to earn bitcoins. You can get paid with bitcoins by just babysitting or any other task as long as the person that's going to pay you is using bitcoins. Aside from all the tasks that pays in fiat, there are some additional ways to earn bitcoins (mostly online) which I think is already included in this post.

There is definitely a ton of ways to earn bitcoins.

Just to list a few:

- Applying for a signature campaign on bitcointalk
- Offer your services in the services section of the forum
- Sell your unwanted goods or digital goods in the corresponding sections of this forum.
- Get a job in real life and set up a direct debit to buy bitcoins every month with your wages.

These are only a few. You will find more worthwhile things to do to earn bitcoin like trading gift cards on paxful and localbitcoins when you get more experienced and develop your own strategy.

All these methods (except 1st one) seem most likely exchanging real money to bitcoin.

Holding is a good way when price is increasing, but what if the price is going down? You'll lose money though the BTC amount is same.

There are many ways but for me the best way and no investment needed way is to join the signature campaign because that is one of my best way to earn bitcoin in the internet and the second is the trading because trading is so profitable if you have funds.

Agreed signature campaign is best and free way to earn alot of bitcoin, and if you got some free coins better use for trading if you have knowledge about that, because its also one of good way to make your bitcoin going up. But thats also high risk activity, so learn and research before start trading will minimize your risk in trading.
