Now it doesn't matter, without f2pool it's impossible to get enough hashrate, SegWit on litecoin is also dead. Good news is, the price increase might not be dependent on that.

who said F2pool is not supporting SegWit anymore? do you have a reference or is it your guess?!! as far as i know f2pool never said anything about not supporting it and the evidence shows they are supporting it. i don't know where to see the blocks and where they add the string but the percentage is still between 68% and 70% and without F2pool that percentage would have dropped down to 50% at least and then went down back to 30% Good news is, the price increase might not be dependent on that.
well yeah but it wasn't ineffective either.
EDIT: i found it and yes F2POOL is still signalling SegWit: https://chain.so/LTC

That stupid fuck must be trolling. He is a known troll that has joked before. He signaled for literally everything in bitcoin during 1st of april. If he pulls out in 74.9% he's gonna catch a bullet by some pissed off guy that losses millions in the process thanks to his antics. We aren't dealing with tons of BTC, but some people are putting millions of dollars worth of LTC, those guys aren't going to be happy if he actually does it.

Well, he sure did a lot of money out of his little stunt and already a lot of people lost money when their 'margins' or 'shorts' whatever were called because of this.

so you ARE making a guess, because if you read the tweet it only talks about a concern about Litecoin becoming different code than bitcoin in case bitcoin never activates SegWit. that is a lot of ifs there. also read the answer that Litecoin developer Charlie Lee gave him.

Why? What is the point of signalling and then pulling out? Makes no sense. Mining fees, and lots of them as people rush have rushed to get a slice of the action. Ltc back to .00828000 we might see another rally = more fees, its a game now

even if it gets to 75%, you have to stay above for two solid weeks. i can imagine it might drag on for months with variance and various people screwing with everyone's mind.

that makes no sense! it is most probably done for trolling or even it is possible to have been an FUD case, we saw a rise to 0.011 BTC and this thing with F2pool caused a dip down to 0.0079 and since it is rising back up now (0.0089 BTC) i say it was a trick to buy some LTC for some short term profit. besides i don't think they are going to ruin their reputation by doing something this crazy like pulling out after the 75%

There are split speculation from some litecoin user, I think Litecoin finally show some good movement and suddenly a lot of people supporting litecoin, so I think with this support litecoin can survive and become better, I am going to invest a little and see how is the improvement in this few months, but I have a felling says that litecoin will revive again

BW.com made up their mind as we were expecting and they are signalling SegWit which has increased the support for SegWit on litecoin up to nearly 74% according to http://litecoinblockhalf.com/segwit.phphttps://twitter.com/SatoshiLite/status/852039230150688770and it also seems to have caused another jump in litecoin price up to 0.0095 BTC again.

Who ever doesn't on board the Litecoin rocket now, is going to be kicking themselves until they are butthurt: Well, nobody can say they didn't get good advice from this thread And sometimes perfect timing:BW just signaled and LTC price hockey-sticking. Nope, just a coincidence. Not correlated at all!

https://www.litecoinpool.org/pools#segwitApproximately 76.8% of the hashrate is now signaling for SegWit. BW.com just started signaling a few hours ago so the 24 hour average is rising and soon to surpass the 75% threshold for SegWit activation. Litecoin will get Lightning Networks (LN) off chain scaling. Bitcoin will not. Thus Litecoin is highly undervalued at $12 and should soon make a new ATH above $50. I expect Litecoin above $100 in 2017. 42.2% | F2Pool | 9% | LitecoinPool.org | 8.4% | HappyChina | 6.4% | BW.com | 6% | Le6oriAMKX... | 2.6% | Batpool | 1.4% | Coinotron | 0.8% | Give Me Coins |
