I was responsible for a big chunk of the buying over the last 24 hours...

Basically, my strategy which has served me well over the 6 years I have been in cryptos, is what I call the "cherry picker". I simply do a lot of research, find coins that show HUGE potential based on a number of criteria, ensure that the marketcap has a favourable risk/reward ratio, and then I go balls deep and hodl for years Grin

Additionally, I only go for gen 3 coins meaning the backend is something other than a gen 1 POW/POS system, preferably not even gen 2 (e.g. dPos-based systems, ETH). I consider gen 3 to be structures such as a DAG https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Directed_acyclic_graph (Byteball,IOTA,ADK), Block Lattice (Raiblocks), or something entirely different than what is currently out there (what MAID is working on, what DLS formerly WBB is about to come out with, what Radix is about to come out with, and this new Proof of Signature that Xtrabytes is developing).

I really like what I have seen so far with the devs and community here and I have no doubt that Xtrabytes is going to be a huge success.

Keep up the great work!

NEWBIE TIP: Just by being in this thread you have already picked a winner. That's not the hard part. Being "right" is easy - now you must "sit tight". Buy as many Xtrabytes as you can, put them in cold storage, forget about them, come back in a couple of years. Thank me then  Smiley

PATIENCE is all it takes.

Welcome to XTRABYTES!!

Thank you for joining us and sharing your wisdom! I hope you will be joining us in Slack also?

Yes, XBY is going to revolutionise Cryptocurrencies. In my opinion, the biggest growers in crypto are investments based on protocols because of their ability to scale. Read my article here: http://smallcapcryptos.com/xby-proof-signature-revolution/ on why I think XBY will 20-50x in the near future.

I did come across your site and I found it very useful - thanks a lot! And you certainly do get it when you say "In my opinion, the biggest growers in crypto are investments based on protocols because of their ability to scale" - we share the same opinion Smiley

Could you clarify this part from your article:

Quote
Also, if you get in early this will give you the opportunity to buy a L2 node (250k XBY), and potentially even the chance to purchase a broken L1 node (500k XBY) in the near future.

I take it that this means all of the L1 node slots are now filled up but you can still create L2 nodes which receive less of a reward? By broken L1 node do you mean that if a node goes down there is a chance to take its spot?

There are a total of 512 nodes available. Currently 460 are occupied. We will be opening up the remaining at a later date.

At this moment, our testing has only been with the online nodes using Proof of Signature consensus. The next stage of development will be with the PULSE and VITALS, which will be the full technology behind XTRABYTES.

This is a great development and it is already a revolutionary security model in the crypto world where all the trusted nodes sign the blocks rather than one randomly chosen anonymous node.  Looking forward to how the rest of the technology with PULSE and VITALS will unfold to even further enhance the security model.

Currently, you can go to http://testnet.xtrabytes.global for the block explorer where it's possible to review the signed blocks. However, at this time only 1 block is signing with all blocks accepting. The final version of POSIGN will be different because current tests are ONLY being done to validate the POSIGN concept.

Therefore, what you are seeing right now is the PROOF OF CONCEPT for POSIGN with block creation and validation occurring without POW or POS.

I'm not clear on this one. Is the one static that is signing the block the same fixed one for every block, or one static is being randomly chosen to sign the block and then the other statics accepting it? Would the functionality where all the statics will be signing the blocks be implemented at a later stage?

If you follow the link (it looks like it is down for another reset currently) to the explorer you can see the miner that is signing each time. It is random with a priority sequence being tested currently. Eventually all blocks will be signing, yes...

Since the link is not working, I will provide the following image for review, which was taken a couple days ago at the end of the first test run.

This is exactly my strategy aftet a similar length of time. I made all my big wins on only a small handful.of coins and only fucked up cause I betted too hard on one that was a great project but the developers were in the end corrupt. My other thing that took me sooo long to leqrn is patience and im not going to make that mistake on this one....no way.....you will have to take my xby out of my cold dead hand.

Why do you hate XBL so much? Genuine question.

The Yobit Wallet issue seems to be resolved. We recommend withdrawing and moving your coins to:
Personal wallet : **RECOMMENDED** https://github.com/borzalom/XtraBYtes/releases **RECOMMENDED**
Cryptopia: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=XBY_BTC
C-cex: https://www.c-cex.com/?p=xby-btc

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING YOBIT FROM THIS POINT FORWARD. DO SO ONLY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

*Multiple successful 10 confirmation withdraws have been performed by community members.

Thank you!
