Personally I think that Stratis have great potential to become really successful, I have good faith in the team behind stratis and they are working really hard, definitely worth to read some more about it.

I work in Finance, I know the issues that can show up in a corporate environment. And when I saw Stratis I directly saw the potential and how successful it can be. Really pragmatic project.

Stratis + NEM for me are blockchain really focused on the corporate world with good technology and strong teams.

Well, I agree that litecoin and ethereum are good coins, of course. And I would also add byteball here. However, the way you speak of them as that there will be some good change and they'll explode in price.. I think this is rather something related to short-term investment.
Oh, and xrp... Do you really think it is a nice coin? I mean, it became popular only because of that recent crazy pump.. I'd say this is rather an example of a short-term investment coin.

My suggestion to you is not to invest your all money to only one coin even to bitcoin. Try to put your money to 3-5 or more different altcoin. 1 or 2 of them can be negative but in total you are going to earn.

Most of the POS coins are decreasing in value since the people holding the coins are trying to dump the rewards for more Bitcoins.

yes ,, you're right, but when some cryptocurrency start with pow then become pos, it will increase the value in short periode time,,

For the OP just buy some PIVX or Cloak,,
in my opinion, Both are good for long term investment

I think you should just hold your Bitcoin for that period of time. Bitcoin's price is continuing to build its strong support and in return will give Bitcoin its way to reach its previous peak and even surpass it. But if you are looking for an Altcoin to invest with, Im not sure but try Yocoin, ETH, DOGE, LTC and other. I think those coin are the most stable Altcoins and will give you more security in investing with them just as what Bitcoin is doing.

I see Stratis token is one of token from ICO which is can survive and the price is constantly increasing, ICO price just 1.000 satoshi and you can look now 43.000 satoshi, I think end of this month stratis can reach 50.000-70.000 satoshi, I has some stratis and wait for that moment, but you need to make your own research this is for your experience in cryptocurrency world.

Seeing on these kind of aspects i can say that ETH does have the potential as we already witnessed its movement recently which it grows its price 4x in no time which is really an indication that it might increase even more.Its promising to hold up some ETH and DASH since im holding both coins on my own wallet and not yet selling as of now i would still wait a little bit more before securing out profits.

It's become very famous in India and compared to any other altcoins, TCC has gained more amount of users just within 3 months or it's release which would be around 5-7 million users already + the prices since its release has gone up by 30 times.

those ico investors who still holding until now that believes with the project really gaining so much now, i seen this project swings but after reaching polo i think stratis really moves so high and investing with it would be more profitable in the long run, you can check their ann thread mate.

I'd say either Ethereum or Monero.

These coins are good hedges against bitcoin price going down. Usually if bitcoin goes down, either Ethereum, Dash or Monero will go up dramatically in price which makes it a great way to diversify your portfolio.

Try to avoid shitcoins that are listed on sites like Yobit though.

PIVX is a new coin with lots of potential. it is a lot better than many of the other altcoins and is a very good candidate instead of Dash since it doesn't have the premine scam of Dash.
and the market seems to be very interested in this coin.

pure pos coins are pump and dump, not very different than ico coin, both are shitcoin, because it doesn't make sense with pos coin to buy when you can earn pos for free an dump easy, and CLOAK and PIVX are both 100% pos now, the only way a pos can survive is with a very low interest rate, like 5-10% per year

For long term investment I would go for the fund management platforms like Iconomi, Taas, Blockchain capital, melonport etc..

The simple reason is because we are still at the roots of decentralization/blockchain tech. Money will surely follow in and those are the major medium which people will use to inject money

I do want to invest in PivX as well but them not being on all exchanges and playing behind closed doors keeps me away from getting into it. It looks like a reaaally long term investment, if you buy it than you need to hold it at least a year, preferably two years before you get a huge rise in the price.

I agree, go for the top 10 coins in the coinmarket cap, at least these coins have stable support.  PoS coins are good but as what the previous poster said, it is destined to a dump since coins are ever increasing in number.  I would go bitbay, and maidsafe coin for possible maximum profit.

i think this cloakcoin is good as PIVX,,
