corruption is not about money, gold or bitcoin, the corruption of human moral and social problems. anything can be corrupted not just bitcoin and money, water, soil, everything can be corrupted, it is widely thought that anonymous bitcoins are easy to use for corruption, actually bitcoin is not completely anonymous, bitcoin transactions can be traced and now almost all exchanger oblige for account verification so all can be tracked and accountable

For me, it can’t happen as long that you don’t have the 51% of its total volume. We all know that it will be complicated to manipulate the bitcoin’s price. Bitcoin can’t lead to corruption because it can work without a single administrator. Also, its capability is superb that’s why some country ban bitcoin because they know that they can’t control it and can’t duplicate it.  Smiley

It would be more correct to say that bitcoin does not lead to corruption, but is used in it. The human greed leads to corruption, and the currency is only as a link for the implementation of a corrupt deal.

There is no relation between increasing corruption and bitcoin. Corruption already exist before bitcoin exist. We should not connecting criminal activity with bitcoin because criminal action is depending on human itself

We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

Yes, of course, this can happen. Because Bitcoin has a fairly attractive price, this high Bitcoin price makes the corruptors interested in corrupting Bitcoin. Corruption in Bitcoin can certainly benefit greatly.

I do not know whether bitcoin can lead to corruption , but there are too many divorces and deceptions in the cryptocurrency market. In addition, all transactions for the transfer of bitcoins are anonymous and are not tracked so it is possible that this will lead to corruption.

As far as Bitcoin can not be under full control of national authorities Bitcoin can lead to corruption. This is good instrument for making transactions. But Bitcoin has a lot of benefits at the same time.

Bitcoin wouldn’t lead to corruption, people will. The greed for money is just an unstoppable human nature. Bitcoin is probably the most powerful money as for now because its value is constantly changing. People’s lust for this power is just insane. But then again, bitcoin doesn’t have a centralized “government”, and that’s a good thing. It lessens the likeliness of monopoly and corruption.

Any type of money may lead to corruption. Bitcoin is not a currency as what the bank says, but it has a price and can be converted into fiat. Many people are making money from bitcoin, so it can also lead to corruption. Since transactions on btc is via peer to peer and we cannot directly identify the sender and receiver on every transaction, then anyone especially the powerful ones can act unethically. They can use btc on bribery, money laundering and other illegal activities.

I think it is not as long as bitcoin will not be holding by the government but corruption is everywhere and btc has prices and when there is money there is corruption because money leads to corruption.

This is what many countries fear, the presence of bitcoin into money laundering so that everyone is free to store in bitcoin unknowingly, but I think corruption is not a bitcoin problem, corruption is a person's evil mentality.

Yes, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can lead to corruption. But it will not be hard to look at blockchain and realize who send BTC whom. And there are coins like Monero which more leads to corruption than bitcoin...

Yes, this is what makes all countries banned bitcoin and ICO, they think that crypto is a new way to hide money from corruption and other illegal transactions. but I think by making the regulation then everything becomes clear.

I don't think so that it will happen into bitcoin  or any altcoin as you of being corrupt. Only government only could do that because they control the whole area of their own country. Bitcoin can't control by anyone so I think it will happen into bitcoin.

Yes its all about government and they can control corruption but bitcoin is one of the best way to reduce poverty and provide to many of unemployed people best way for earning, so that's why corruption will never born in our society because they are very busy in earning of bitcoin.
