Manchester United management must think and act smartly in the upcoming transfer market, they must close the door for players who have a bad reputation off the field like Greenwood. Besides that, it would be even better for them to release Sancho permanently next season, If necessary, Manchester United management must also release Antony. I would guess that United just doesn't need the money, that seems like the most crucial part of their deals. I understand that it is not going to be all that complicated for United and Greenwood situation, first of all it is almost clear that they will fire ETH, if they do fire him, then they will need to find a new manager and when the new manager comes in, they will ask him if they consider Greenwood in the squad or not, if he does then they will keep him, however if he doesn't then he will loan him out.

Another subject would be if they keep ETH, which could be a big trouble and a wrong move but lets assume that they do, then ETH already wanted him loaned out and played without him, so he will be loaned out in that case too.

If Ten Hag is still trusted to be the coach next season then it is clear that Greenwood is one of the players who are expected to return to the Manchester United squad, but it is not clear whether Ten Hag will be in defense or replaced for next season.
If I personally judge, it is clear that Ten Hag could not work well according to everyone expectations when he entered the Manchester United team as coach, he disappointed everyone and really couldn't see any good changes.
