The Brazilian international has been instrumental to the success of the club this season and I am surprised to hear this transfer news. If AC Milan doesn't increase their offer, I'm not sure Bologna will let this player go, because Bologna themselves want 75 million to let go of this player, so with the 50 million offered by AC Milan they will reject it. If they want this player then inevitably they have to make a higher offer or they can include a player clause in the offer as you said, that might change Bologna's thinking.

But I'm also not sure how serious they are about wanting this player. and we will probably see that as time goes by. If their current offer is rejected and they come back with a higher offer, then it is very likely that AC Milan really wants this player.
