Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has told Mesut Ozil, 32, he has two months to prove himself at the club. When will this saga finally end and whether there is a happy ending to this story?
I am really a fan of Ozil. He is great midfielder but right now you also have to think that there are lot more good players in the squad and he has to make his way into team. Arteta is right here as well, any manager would have done the same but he should be given a chance as well to shown something and prove that he could still be useful. Right now there are lot of players in midfield who are playing good and doing well with the formation Arteta is making the team play. So doesn't feels like a happy ending is where it is going towards to. Özil will sit out his well-paying contract in London. No way that he is going to wave off money to find a new club bevor his contrac runs out. He doesn't seem to have the ambition anymore to play constantly. Once his contract is over, he'll either end is career or, which is more likely imo, go to a club in Turkey. well I think there is no other choice but to accept a new club that can still accept it with a high salary because of pandemic conditions like this it will be difficult to find a lot of money and some matches are sometimes canceled, some are postponed, so in my opinion The world is like this so staying in London and supporting the club for a while is fine.

The thing is, does Pogba want to leave United as a whole, or does he want to go to Madrid? That is a very important part of this discussion. United is not a bad team and if I was playing there I would want to stay there, but if Madrid wanted me then I would want to move to Madrid as well and would want to leave United as well, that makes sense. However I wouldn't be going around saying "send me to any team that wants me, I just want to leave" neither.
So, if Madrid and United comes to a deal and Madrid gets Pogba that could happen but he worths a lot of money and I feel like Madrid is not willing to pay that much when they have so much empty contract they want to get rid of. Maybe a pogba and bale trade? That sounds like it could actually work for both teams as well right?

Well the fact that Man United had to use the clause for 1 year extension tells me he himself wants to move on,,, and it is less if he wants to go to Madrid and more if Madrid want him. Not every league now has money to spend, obviously they will want a cut price on his salary to keep him. Bale trade? Not if Mourinho wants him to stay:)

Liverpool and Tottenham are interested in Calvin Phillip.
According to this article, Liverpool doesn't seem to want Phillips anymore, because he was supposed to be a holding midfielder and center-back combo but now since van Dijk's knee injruy, Fabinho is taking that role instead. https://www.rousingthekop.com/2020/10/18/injury-update-could-end-liverpools-reported-interest-in-kalvin-phillips/Now Fabinho isn’t also a centre-half and he will play holding midfield every week. Can Liverpool then justify signing £50m Phillips? We’re not so sure. This injury might force them to end that interest, unfortunately. So it's likely that Phillips will end up with the Spurs instead, nothing abnormal is happening at their club right now.

Juventus elected to sign Italy winger Federico Chiesa, 22, from Fiorentina, instead of Lyon and France midfielder Houssem Aouar, 22, during the summer transfer window. Juve is really busy this season, with a lot of change of plans.
Some sources said it was even a deal done but Juventus had not the possibility to take him because they couldn't sell some players to get the slot free. It's not easy for a team to cut off a player if he does not want to leave the team especially now with the Covid situation and the lack of money.

It's mean Juve need to sell at least one players on the winter transfer window. If they failed, they need to wait summer transfer window next season. But, on worldfootball.net site, Chiesa already on the name of Juventus squad for 20/21 i think Juve already have a candidates who will be released on January.

Chiesa and Morata are on loan but they will probably be bought not next year but in 2 years since they both have the option to extend the load for one more year. The problem for Aouar was he got no spot on the UEFA Champions League's list since they are already full to take him they should sell one more player but no one wants to leave.

Mate, what's going on with Juventus interest to buyback Pogba? whether they gave up? I like Manchester United supporter, I would like your wish to come true and bring it to your club. He is so unprofessional, I would like to say he is a light version of Mario Balotelli. I guess again you will take it for free when his contract expires. So many rumours, but nothing happened.

I think the option isn't only selling the players, but they can loan one of the players to other clubs. The problem is when no one ready or interested in a loan to another club. However, the coach or Juve management has the power to determine the decision. They can ask the players who rarely play or mostly on the bench to loan. But indeed, the player should be in the same position as the new player to get in.

I see, i missed this transfer process, if the deal for full transfer happens next 2 years, it will make a sense since some Juventus players is now old enough, maybe Khedira or some 30+ players will be released except Ronaldo to give a spot.

This is another situation where both the club and the player are dissatisfied but cannot find a solution that would satisfy everyone. Özil is a specific character but I still hope the coach will motivate him again to show what he knows on the field. I think he can still show a lot in the English league and he doesn't have to think about the end of his career in Turkey, it's important for him to be motivated again and focus on football. EDIT: If the news is correct, it seems that every relationship between Özil and Arsenal has officially broken down: https://www.index.hr/sport/clanak/arsenal-novim-potezom-potvrdio-koliko-se-zeli-rijesiti-%C3%B6zila-i-njegove-brutalne-place/2223355.aspx The Croatian portal Index reports that Arsenal did not register Ozil for the Premiership. It seems his salary is too high for Arsenal and they really want to get rid of him. Any confirmation?

Whilst the transfer market is over, Barcelona's stopper, André ter Stegen has extended his contract with Barcelona until June 2025. Signed and confirmed. Ter Stegen has been real solid for the Catalans. It's good to know he'll stick with the club until 2025 when his new contract expires. Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1318666673973567488 Özil is a specific character but I still hope the coach will motivate him again to show what he knows on the field. In my opinion, Ozil's best bet now would be to find another club where his services would be needed an appreciated. The fact that he's still at Arsenal and not featuring in any of their matches is uncalled for. Oil was one of my favorite midfielder before his move from Real Madrid but not anymore.

I agree with you. The best option for him is moving to another club that requires a midfielder with a "style of play" like him. But should be not easy to move since Ozil is already 32 years old. Maybe the possible destination is Serie A clubs like AC Milan, Inter Milan, or other clubs that have enough money and need a player in that position.

It would be a great duo with Ibra and due to the fact that Milan has increasing expectations now the fans would be very excited to see a signing like Ozil coming to the club in order to help. This would be a message sent by the board to the fans that they try to get the club on top of the European football as it was in the past.

+1 to that, just take a look at James Rodriguez at Everton right now, it looked like his career was over at real Madrid, as he went on different loans, but didn't really shine, nor did he get himself back in form, but since he moved to Everton and reunited with a manager he loves to work with: Carlo Ancelloti, his performances in the four games Everton have played this season have been outstanding and imo, thus far he's looked like the best player in the epl (I mean in the games played so far). So despite Mesut Ozil's age, I think he should move to a different club, no matter the cost, a paycut or whatever, what should matter to a footballer is that he is doing what he loves most, and that should be playing week in, week out. The more he stays at Arsenal, the more it looks like his career is over, Ozil gave assists for fun back then, it's crazy .

Yeah that's the best, even world cup final scorer Gotze found a club after going out of contract from Dortmund. Ozil is still a great player but team is not giving him any chance. I am sure in upcoming transfer window someone might try on getting Ozil in their team. Really unhappy with the decision of leaving Mesut Ozil out of Arsenal squad.

From premier league, Manchester United reported make a deal with Barcelona for Dembele, but with scenario Barcelona success to bring Depay, and Lyon can bring Slimani from Leicester. I think if one of them failed, so transfer Dembele may canceled until Barcelona or Lyon get another option. And Liverpool being linked with Kalidou Koulibaly and ready to pay €70m

I feel really bad for teenagers with such bright prospects but who end up getting shifted around and around and then they get older and never play. James is doing so well at Everton but remember, they also bought Moise Kean,,, who was a superstar for Italy and then now he got sold again to PSG where hopefully he does something.

It might be tough for some clubs to spend due to the massive loss of income due to covid (no match tickets sold).
