I seriously don't understand what is going on inside Real Madrid. Lot of young talented midfielders, forwards are there and yet they are not preferred into their game plan. There is Jovic, Odegaard , Hakimi (now sold), Ceballos...and so. Their talent is going wasted unless you try them out.

Papu Gomez is something that I didn't wanted to happen. He is a great player and just because of some spat with manager the situation has so much worsened now that it is beyond repair. Sevilla will be a great destination for Gomez. Atalanta are already struggling to score much without him.  He is going around for 5/6m Euros but in actual he is more than that.

Obviously he is not a bad player, dude is one of the best young talents we have in the world, but if you failed to show yourself in real Madrid and "drop" to arsenal, is that really a bad thing? . I mean Arsenal is still one of the best teams in the premier league, would put them in top 10 unless they have some troubles and they have such a huge history as well, sure real Madrid is great and all but if you "failed into arsenal" that is kind of awesome.

I wouldn't really expect a player to be bad player if they are in arsenal. This kids only problem is that he started very big and because of the hype people expected way too much from him, anyone who knows football is that you can't make players with certain skills play another way, if he was awesome somewhere and not so great somewhere else, that doesn't mean he is bad, it just means he wasn't capable of adopting to the new role.

There are many players who are old and yet they continue to play equal to like some young talented player. I actually wanted to Gomez to stay at Atalanta and hoped that Gasperini and Gomez would shake hands and clear all the tense air amongst them but nothing happened. Things doesn't works out when there is tension between manager and a player as the player wouldn't work according with manager plans and there is that Gomez being listed and at a low price to get rid of him asap.

I however also hoped for management to intervene and resolve the situation but nothing was done which makes me bit sad for Atalanta.

This is a deal that favors both parties; with Arsenal lacking any form of creativity in the middle of the pitch and Martin Odegaard desperately in search of playing time to perform and become the best.
