Modric was a key player for Real winning the CL & Croatia reaching the world cup final. I don’t think you can question his 2018. I don’t get the Pogba hype, I really don’t.

What Modric did on WC? I watched all matches and he did get 2 half times on 7 matches, on CL he did I think 1 goal in 13 matches.
That Prizes was a shame.

Just a perfect example of very shallow look at something so complex as football and tactics.

Regarding him on the WC,  in those 7 games he played  694 minutes (that makes it on average  99 minutes per game, Croatia went 3 times in ET).I don't know what you watched, but certainly you didn't watch Croatia, or simply you didn't pay much attention to Modric. But he was key player.

It is more than just goals , or even assists.In every successful team you need players that will set the pace and control the middle without loosing ball and making mistakes.And Modric is that kind of player.He is not flashy, he doesn't make fancy dribbles, he doesn't score many goals or even make a lot of assists, but his impact is more than sum of his stats, his game is  simple and effective.For me he is successor of other 2  brilliant and often overlooked players, Andrea Pirlo and Paul Scholes.

Dzeko extended his contract till 2022, now is very hard to see him with Inter-Milano (Icardi's exchange) and Higuain to Roma.

He had a spectacular season no doubt, but not one capable of making him the best player in the world, last year's award was a sham, I really didn't know what they were getting at, it was obvious Ronaldo was the best player as of last year.
So many players have had the season modric had last season.

Reallly? Name a few.

That reward is awarded for accomplishments in particular year and heavily influenced by doing well in top tournaments. That year biggest stage was World Cup followed by Champions League. Modric won CL and finished 2 in WC and he was most important player in Croatia squad and arguably one of top 3 in Real squad.

If somebody else deserved it more, than for me it would have been Varane (won both CL and WC but arguably not as important part of those squads as Modric) or Griezmann who had one hell of a season but not a very good result in CL.

Ronaldo and Messi are better players then all of the above but they didn't deserve the reward that particular year.


Players like Pogba and Neymar are really getting on my nerves. Yes, they are excellent footballers but their behavior is totally unacceptable. They have huge contracts at top clubs and are constantly bitching about something. I wouldn't want them in any club that I support.

I feel the same about Pogba, ,Neymar and many other players today. They just run for money and don't have respect toward others.
Buffon and Totti,  just to mention two players,  was great players but also great examples because they was loyal to their clubs and showed respect to others.
People will never respect and remember Pogba or Neymar like they recpect Totti or Buffon and it's obvious why.

They need to be even or close to be, they just pass a Fairplay Agreement, they can't, I think, close the market session at -100.

Wow, I'd be happy if this really happened. Icardi has indeed been dumped by Inter and will no longer play for Inter next season, I think it is appropriate. Because Juventus might not have to have many strikers for next season. Therefore this option was chosen so that icardi landed in Turin.

Griezmann has been in Spain for years now, I don't think he will have many problems with a new club. He might need some time to settle but I doubt he'll end up like Coutinho, as long as he can perform well without thinking too much of what people say about him on the internet.

I think that Neymar is right now huge risk for any club in the world because of so many injuries,  difficult character,  not mature enough etc.
Of course his marketing potential is still big but his performanse on the field is not so good, at least not worth 220 millions 😁

Neymar at least for me is becoming more and more not football player but scandal person. Still when i watch that famous video from WC with kids faking injury on word Neymar. He is nothing now at least for me, he went for money and in 99% players never play again that great. On marketing side he will probably make more from some funny videos or jokes on him.

10% is not that much and Inter will find a way to give Icardi that 10% playing time if needed. I still very much doubt they would make a deal with Juve.

Inter said in these 2 months Icardi will be out of the project.

Icardi said he wants only Juventus.

If the Inter management will not include Icardi on the Serie A list, his manager will do a cause against inter for mobbing.

We already have a case in the past about it, if they will go on that way they probably will win in the court and he will destroy the contract and go for free.

Real prolly stopped going after Pogba since they're going back and taking interest on Eriksen again.  Prolly a better signing considering he's cheaper but not that much of a 'downgrade'.

Eriksen is much more of a team player and will not cause turmoils inside dressing room. He is dependable and you know exactly what you will get. I will not enter the argument which one is better on the pitch, they both have their pros and cons. One thing that Pogba has on his side is media presence/wow factor and Real would make much more money from sponsorship and jersey sales if they sign Pogba.

There was no way that Manchester United were going to let one of their top players go without getting a replacement and with the transfer window shut in the EPL, there isn't going to be any deal but with Eriksen, Tottenham risk having him go for free next summer since he is unwilling to sign a neww contract.

He just moved to Barcelona and not unless other clubs are willing to pay a hefty fee for his transfer I don't see Griezmann moving to any club anytime soon. Barcelona is known to value its players they often let go their old players or just try to overvalue their starters that is why we have seen Neymar left Barca for PSG as they are willing to match what they are asking for him. Even if Griezmann failed in Barca I know that they will still have a good deal for him as seen in previous transfers from the team.
