After the departure of Mesut Ozil, Arsenal no longer have an attacking midfielder who is truly capable of destroying the opposing team defense with such a good pass, although Martin Odengaard is still far from Ozil's quality, but I hope that later Odengaard will be able to make the difference in Arsenal matches, it seems Odegaard is the right alternative now after Arsenal failed to get Maddison from Leicester City in the transfer market this season.

Honestly, I really want Arsenal to bring in a midfielder who is complete and also has a lot of experience like Maddison, but we know, right now  maybe because Arsenal are not playing in European competition, so many players will refuse to join.
Although Odegaard performance last season was quite good but actually Arsenal need a midfielder who is consistent and really has creativity in creating chances to score goals and I doubt if Odegaard can do it?
In my opinion, the transfer of Odegaard is a gamble from Arteta, because if he is right a talented midfielder, he should be able to break the dominance of madrid midfield trio and get a chance to play in the first squad, maybe not only me who doubts the quality of odegaard, but it seems like madrid also has doubts about odegaard quality so they sell him.
