I do agree that De Jong would be a great signing, but he doesn’t solve Manchester United’s midfield problem so I wonder if they’ll recruit one more midfielder. Lastly instead of buying a centre back now they’re buying a left back, so I’m baffled by their decision to not buy a defensive midfielder and a centre back, because we are really weak in those areas.

Good deal for Tottenham because they have signed Richarlison easily even though for a pretty hefty price, I also think that Richarlison can be a wing striker with Son and Kane remaining in midfield maybe Conte will use a 3 stirker strategy up front to sharpen but Richarlison can be wherever Conte needs in my opinion.

Chelsea is trying to hijack the deal early after an agreement but I am glad Tottenham have had to beat off competition from rivals Arsenal and Chelsea to capture his signature, after both sides also expressed an interest in him and they seem to have now reached an agreement with him looking set to undergo his medical in his home country Brazil today to complete the deal.
