They seemed very determined about not selling Lewandowski too actually but they did it. I wonder if this will happen about Ronaldo too. They would be in search of a centre-forward for some time first and if they don't find a better one then maybe they might change their mind about Ronaldo.

Arsenal are discussing the terms and contract with the player now. This deal will most probably show the door for Tavares as I said before. Zinchenko would most probably be Arteta's first choice.

I think most clubs are gearing up for the new season with top English clubs making fantastic signings.  Spanish leagues also are seeing amazing signings also with latest signing Lewandoski booking a spot in Barcelona squad.

Chelsea and Manchester City are out of the race, Bayern is looking like his only destination after Lewa joined Barcelona but just as you said it's likely going to be difficult with his transfer fees and high wages, he had two offers from Europe but he turns it down. Bayern's chairman said they weren't interested a few days ago I guess the departure of Lewa is forcing them to make U-turn. He's their perfect replacement if we are being honest.

I read that Cristiano received an offer of €275M for a two-year contract from a Saudi team. Had he accepted this offer, he would have become the highest-paid football player in the world right now, but CR7 refused, proving once again that money is not everything for him. Barcelona is yet to decide whether they will sell De Jong. De Jong is a very important player in the Barcelona midfield. Selling de Jong would leave Barcelona unable to fill his void. Since Xavi is looking to strengthen the team, he may not decide to sell de Jong. Despite being in a financial crisis, they are spending a lot of money to buy players. Barcelona may take a loan again.

I was surprised to find out that Barcelona is signing Robert Lewandowski. He doesn't seem to fit the style of the Catalonian team.
Barcelona usually plays without a strong central attacker. Players like Zlatan Ibrahimovich had failed in Barcelona. Aubameyang will be facing a heavy competition and I guess that he will have to play on the flank.
Bayern getting rid of Lewandowski seems like a weird decision to me, but I guess that the Polish footballer wants to change the team, after several years in the Bavarian champion. I simply can't see Christiano Ronaldo joining Bayern. He will have to learn German.
Another weird transfer was Manchester United signing with Christian Eriksen. I thought that his career is over after the Euro 2020 accident and he will keep playing in low tier teams. I guess I was wrong.

If Arsenal eventually sign Oleksandr Zinchenko he will compete with Tierney as their left back though the latter is prone to injury while Taveres who deputizes Tierney had not live up to expectations for the club thus he is likely to be loaned out or sold.
Personally I prefers Tierney to be Arsenal first choice because of his pacy which often help the team to attack offensively he is quick and sharp and has the ability to launch counter attacks while Oleksandr Zinchenko is a good defender as well and his ball crossing ability is very good, however it's up to Arteta to decide his choice between the duo.

Is Barcelona really strong this season? I would say a stable squad is needed to win the title. But we see in the Barcelona team, their forwards are very strong. The very complicated transfer has finally ended, Barcelona really wants Lewandowski and vice versa, Lewandowski really wants to play at Barcelona and finally Bayern let go of his players who have been instrumental for 8 years. Very encouraging news and I am sure it will be the most successful transfer in La Liga this season.
and for Barcelona's front line next season, I have no doubts about it, even though Lewandowski is 33 years old but in terms of quality he is still quite good.
