I have the feeling that Chelsea still want to get some reinforcements. They only have 9 days left, but they could also deliberately wait and keep it under the radar for a while. That might be true but they are still a Champions league team. That in itself is sufficient to be an attractive prospect for players to join in. They did get a few good signings in including Sterling, Koulibaly. The new owners seem friendly and just threw a party which they invited all the other EPL team's owners and top executive. All new owners come with new enthusiasm and try to make a big mark at the club. Should be the best time to join the club and make something of yourself. Especially for young talents.

Chelsea's massive overhaul this season should guarantee their success at the end of the season by winning a number of titles. They are like a very optimistic team about it where they seem to be very active in the market by spending a lot of money. Sterling, Koulibaly and now they are reportedly approaching De Jong is something that looks very aggressive.

I don't know if this is all Conte's desire as a coach, or maybe the desire of the new owner to make his team better than last season. I hope it's good, but I'm not sure about the title because Liverpool and Manchester City are still ahead in my opinion.

Except things change and Chelsea is able to attract and buy more player, they would have to endure a very difficult season. The current players would be overworked and any injury on any player would be a disaster because of scarce replacement. I think it is time for Chelsea to search for quality players from their academy because that was what Frank Lampard did and got a bunch of good players that are foundational members of the first team today. The departure of Roman Abramovich would keep hunting the club until the new management stabilizes.

There are also rumours of two main defensive players of chelsea targetted by another team. I meant this time so many people have no intention to join with chelsea. This is making this time even worst caused by less players interested in it. it will become a disaster for the club. I thought that todd's acquisition will make it even better but it seems like the club has become even worst. Im feeling doubt if chelsea can compete with so many big clubs for the next EPL. I came across Gary Neville's comments on the De Jong's situation and I totally agree with that. How come the club that released a statement that they are going through financial crisis are still able to sign top players like Raphinha and Lewandowski and not be able to pay player wages that's not proper and needs to be addressed. In my opinion, De Jong should leave Barcelona because it's obvious they don't value him at all in the club and he should make a move elsewhere.

I fully respect these valuable comments from a great player about a club which is right now having deep financial issues but still buying very high price players and not giving player's wages and creating feud about this as well here now De Jong should leave Barcelona, and he can go against them in court because they are doing the worst things which can create more mess up in future if they fail to have required results in coming season on the field.

Manchester United were desperate to sign him but due to these wages issue now they are not having any serious statement about this all hopefully in future we will have some development which will be acceptable for player and Barcelona.

It prolly is, Aaron Ramsey has struggled for fitness for quite a long time now, to be honest i do not blame Juventus at all for terminating his contract with them, they bought him with a lot of hope and optimism, and made him one of their highest earners in the club, i think Ramsey was earning around £400k every week, thus when a club pays you that high, you are expected to deliver for them on the pitch, and that is something Ramsey did not manage to do at all; even when he was pushed out on loan to Rangers, he didn't perform too. I do not know what the next chapter is for Aaron, but i think he will prolly move to a smaller club, so that he can get enough playing time and see if he can revive his career. I would love to see him in the EPL again though, maybe the recent 'money-club' Newcastle can sign him.

Unarguably there has obviously been some uncertainties over Chelsea for months now concerning transfers and they haven’t been impressive in preseason. Now they have been able to bolster their squad with just Sterling and Koulibaly having lost some players already. And it does look like more will want to live either on loan or leaving entirely. Honestly they’re trying to bring in some names but they have found their efforts stymied by Barcelona. We can see that a lot of clubs are reinforcing and if Chelsea delays to do the same, the season ahead will be unfriendly to them.

Newcastle are just unable to attract players who are world stars now. They still need time to prove themselves to that kind of players about how much they are passionate to be successful. The only way that they can do this seems like that they need to bring players like Draxler who is better than average. Sven Botman, Matt Targett and Nick Pope are the only transfers so far. Therefore Draxler would be the best signing now directly. They still have a long time to sign more players so I hope them to stay active.

No offense but Newcastle was never really a big team, not even in EPL. The only way is if they could offer their target players huge amount of salary, since they have new rich owner. There were good hopes after change of management, but suddenly things like this coming and now Tuchel is also frustrated which mean we are going to have some good problems in coming days because right now they are desperately needed few quality players, but management is not responding positively in last season they were at third with Tottenham and Arsenal were not good enough.

But, now with changes happening in these both clubs most chances if Chelsea fails to have quality players then surely they can face exit from top four because now competition is tough and both London based clubs are having their enough players but sadly Tuchel is still on same boat which is having not better result nor good investment for quality players.
