Fabrizio is one of the go to people for football details, he to me has taken football journalism to a whole different level right now, it is just similar to how Peter Drury revolutionized the commentary industry. This confirmation has ended these years of speculation. The striker would have been part of the Real Madrid squad that just lifted the Champions League if not for his decision to remain in France. With the level of players in the club, Madrid will be one of the biggest favorites to win both La Liga and the UCL. It will take another well-prepared team or luck for Los Blancos to lose any of this trophy next season. I doubt if Barcelona, Girona, or Atlético Madrid will be able to stop Real Madrid next season.

The focus will now be on coach Ancelotti on how to manage these big names at his disposal. The coach might have to rotate some players to enable all of them feature and some players will not be comfortable with this. We also have to see how PSG will survive without Mbappe. I have never like this new management handling the football affairs of Manchester United. It was fun when Fabrizio Romano use to just announced a shocking signing that we did not expect to happen but with the recent transfers, I now feel like I know them before they happen and it takes out the whole excitement from the transfer. It would have somehow been a very unique achievement if he won the ballon d'or during his stay at PSG, but he had to realize that the league is not his level and it was a waste of his time in some respects. Whatever the number is, he is probably close to being a billionaire.

But as was expected, any money that Real Madrid would have had to spend on transfer fees now more or less went into his pockets. He receieved a "signing bonus worth £128m over five years." On top of that comes the salrary of "around £246,154 every week". This is about £200m for five years. Given that his bank account is already nuts, still making £40m in salaries and bonuses alone is unbelievable. There are no sponsorships and other income sources included. What a lucky guy.
