Last season, Luka Modric refused to move to Saudi side Al Hilal, who offered him €200 million for three years, mainly because of his family. I think he compared the cultural and social environment conditions of Saudi Arabia to comfort, tranquility and serenity his family enjoys in Spain. Some players are not motivated by money and Luka is one of them. He prefers to enjoy his game and make sure his family is comfortable. So I am not surprised if he turns down another offer just because Real Madrid gave him a one-year deal.

Carlo Ancelotti, the Real Madrid coach, once said that he needed Luka to be a mentor to the young midfielders at the club. He might not be too concerned about playing time, but he wants to support younger players both technically, physically, and mentally.  I will not be surprised if he is given a backroom job after his contract expires next year.

That is exactly what he is trying to do but he can’t get so much money from his sell because Osimhen’s performance last season was not that impressive that clubs will want to buy him for that high price. The whole club were in face playing below average and didn’t do anything better than what they did last season. If he’s waiting for his sell in order to recruit new players, then he’ll have to wait longer and maybe have a plan B to execute that plan because I don’t see that close to happening as it is now. Who would have thought that Riccardo Calafiori would become a hot topic for the big European teams and now Arsenal is also hunting for him. Mikel Arteta has approved the club's plan to recruit him and maybe this transfer will go well considering Arsenal has a good relationship with Bologna. I saw a report from Fabrizio Romano that Arsenal are pushing hard to sign. Riccardo Calafiori, and I also see that Chelsea is interested in signing him to strengthen their defense.
Arsenal is looking for backup for their left back and right back position, they also want to provide some rest for William Saliba and Gebriel Mangalas which is why they are trying to sign him so that one of these defenders can be having some rest because Saliba played almost all matches last season, so if Arteta did not sign a replacement, Arsenal will suffer if Saliba went injured.

Chelsea on the other also need a defender following Tiago Silva’s retirement from football, if they can get Calafiori, they will be free from defensive threat and they can confidently avoid conceding much goals.

Even after his 1 year contract currently in Madrid, we will still get to see clubs willing to have him likely the Saudi league. Modric is a great player even when he would turn 40 I believe he can still make a good game on the pitch. Can't wait to see him deliver those passes to Mbappe, it will be a lot fun to watch how Madrid will conquer clubs with ease following the combo between the long passes from Modric and an excellent finish from Mbappe. I know Modric won't be played whole 90mins, Valverde should use this time to master the work of art by Modric so he can do better in his absence.

Penalties have nothing to do with skills or anything other than luck. There is a bit of experience, feeling, just like gambling, even big players lose money!
For Cristiano Ronaldo I find his way to apologise from Portugal fans as the trigger that made media more interested in talking about it, otherwise it is just a normal thing like Messi, Benzema and basically every player that missed a clear goal or a penalty. It happens!

Going to Saudi should be for retirement and not to continue his career. At age 40 it is advisable to not continue playing football. The idea, intelligence, and technical know-how will still be there but the strength to do a lot of things they could do at a young age won't be there anymore. If Ronaldo was able to join Saudi league then Modric can also join and play for a few years hopefully that’s if any team wants his services. Staying an additional year at Madrid might actually end all hopes of other team seeking his services, he has no much years left but i still believe he can still play for as long as he want because the performance he showed at Euro before being eliminated was unbelievable for a player at his age.

I don't think Ronaldo should continue to play like that. He is 39 years old and is no longer in the same form as before. He should rest and let the younger generation play and show their talent. I will not hesitate to say that I saw the Portuguese team play very well in the World Cup qualifiers with Ronaldo on the bench. I know that great pressure will be on Ronaldo's shoulders. If Portugal is eliminated, all the blame will be placed on Ronaldo. So the best thing for him to do is rest, so bad people don't make fun of him on social networks.
