So I think it is probably better to not expect too much from him. Let’s not get sidetracked here. Let’s talk about Chiesa, he can play well. And him getting into the Italian capital is definitely going to be afraid for Roma. Hard to understands if the Yellow and Reds will be able to improve their performance in the next season significantly or not. I still have my doubts about the coach. Saliba to replace Carvajal? No man, they are playing in different positions while one is a CB the other is a RB.    I assume you were confused with one of their positions for a moment.

Saliba would be a replacement for Alaba. Because as I said Alaba is injured and we don't know when he is returning. Even if he does early I don't think Ancelotti has good plans for him anymore. In my opinion, that is the main reason why Roma always fails to compete with its competitors in Serie A, the management and club officials are too budget conscious and not too ambitious in managing the club. Roma last won the Scudetto in the 2000-2001 season, after which until last season they were recorded as having been fasting for a title for almost a quarter of a century. Muorinho also complained about the same thing about Roma transfer style, and now De Rossi may try to get around this by relying on young players. Madrid want him and they wanted to try their luck if they can get him since Arsenal is making effort to bring Calafiori, so they will want to use their influence to bring him to strengthen their defense which if they succeed will be the best decision they would have made because Saliba is a very good and strong defender with experience and composure despite his age.
But Arsenal management will never let him go anytime soon. In fact I will be expecting Arsenal management to give him more contract conditions which will include huge amount of money for his release clause because they cannot afford to lose him.

Madrid needs to start the regeneration at the backs, and Saliba is the right choice to replace Carvajal. Carvajal is old enough to play at Real Madrid, and the club may not extend his contract.

Saliba to replace Carvajal? No man, they are playing in different positions while one is a CB the other is a RB.    I assume you were confused with one of their positions for a moment.

Saliba would be a replacement for Alaba. Because as I said Alaba is injured and we don't know when he is returning. Even if he does early I don't think Ancelotti has good plans for him anymore. He can't risk it by relying on a player getting injured this often. Saliba would be like an insurance for Real Madrid for the long term. 

I'm not saying Militao is bad of course but he has also had serious injury problems. I think Saliba would perform better.

Read that part and I laugh out loud so good, Y'all correcting him have valid opinions and are all correct at the same time. I would love Saliba to be a Real Madrid player anyways. If Real Madrid are serious, then this is a good move for both, player and his future, for Arsenal as they'll make profits.

Dani Carvajal for Saliba can never happen honestly. But then, I do think Dani Carvajal needs Competition though. He'll be the oldest players for Real Madrid alongside Luka Modric next season. I'm sure they'll still make the best outta all these from their last days and seasons with and for the club.

It's either he is a replacement for Nacho Fernandez, or David Alaba if he leaves in the future. And he is also young while current defenders are above 30+. He will definitely add a whole lot to Real Madrid if he moves that way. I'm excited for such a deal happening.
