I wonder whether Real Madrid is really lucky or making their planning perfectly.  Grin  They are really good at signing incredible players on free agent. Look at Mbappe example and now Trent is on his way there as it seems.

When it comes to being complete, not yet yeah. They should and probably would prioritize a CB signing. Saliba could be their main target. I really like his defending. He is reliable but they will have to pay god knows how much money only for his transfer fee.  Tongue
Some players see playing for Real Madrid as the easiest means of winning personal awards and the Champions League. The club is seen as prestigious and many players want to play there in their lifetime. So it is easy for them to attract players with these ambition or belief. But I don't like this stractegy since clubs who have spent so much to groom these quality players will not gain any financial benefits from the transfer..
Real Madrid is a traditional club and every player who has ever played for this club has had a brilliant career and each has achieved a lot individually. That's why every young footballer's first dream is to play for Real Madrid. Now the talk is how Real Madrid is so successful in other tournaments including the Champions League. Basically, Real Madrid always try to strengthen each of their positions and strengthen each position to make the team perform according to that balance. Now if we look at the current players of Real Madrid, we can see that most of the current players of Real Madrid are young and are performing quite well. Now if a player gets injured then the manager always has a suitable replacement. That's why Real Madrid's performance is always better than other teams.

Real Madrid seems to have planned everything carefully, and they are certainly very skilled negotiators (their reputation helps a lot in this regard). In this way, Real Madrid is far from the problems that Barcelona is facing, because they do not have to pay many expenses every season. They approached Trent Alexander-Arnold in the same way they managed to land Kylian Mbappe and I think it would be hard for Arnold to say no because he would get a lot of money in exchange for his free-agent status (while his old club could only stare blankly as they didn't get any money at all).

Juventus star and our national pride Kenan Yıldız is on Manchester United's radar. Kenan, who has played many games this season, continues his development. Juventus wants 80 million Euro for him. This is a fair price for him. If Manchester United wants to buy him, they have to open the purse strings.
Manchester United also want Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig. It looks like they will spend a lot of money next summer. They have to do that because their squad, however big it is, doesn't have enough quality. They are far behind other Premier League teams.

Revenues from ads and sales of his jerseys? Wasn't not the same Barca that ran into debts because of the lucrative offer they gave to him in other to tie him down? I take this news to be nothing but speculation. Messi's era has come and gone and Barca has no desire to bring him back to Nou camp. They already have a young talented squad that can compete for major trophies in Spain and europe.
I see no point in bringing Messi back as a player. He's old, slow, and maybe unable to compete in La Liga. The better to see it as a different view. They can give him as position in the club to increase club's engagement. We know how big his fanbase compared to any players on their squad now.

If we're talking about revenue from sales or something else, it totally makes sense consider he has biggest fan base after Ronaldo. Having him will also boost the revenue by the club as it's bringing back the old days of him on his former club.

Ambassador? Director? or another position? it's all good. I remind you even though he's not barcelona's player, but he's still remain iconic to the all of barcelona fans.

Don't know how much reliable this is. But Liverpool is also interested in Rodrygo they say. The reason why I said "also" is that his name was called with Manchester City as well in the past. But what happened later on? It just stayed as a rumour. Not even an official offer. Maybe they made an enquiry and got a negative answer, I don't know.  Tongue  Rodrygo is one of the really big young talents. No wonder why he is getting such a huge attraction by rich teams.

Would Real Madrid let him go though? I don't think so. Probably they will ask for an astronomical fee which will be declined quickly. In the RW position there is no other player better than him at Real Madrid right now.

How old is Lewandowski but he is still scoring more and more goals. Messi can still play in Laliga, if he ever made the switch back to Barcelona. Inter Miami won't be in his way, I believe he Messi will see out his contract with Inter Miami before that time. I think he signed a two year contract with them, and I believe the contract will expire at the end of the current MLS season. If you have been watching Messi recently, you will see that the Man is still playing in the top level. Messi is not going to retire in the US. If Messi is going to retire where he's more revered, I think that's going to be Barcelona. Messi can't be more revered in Miami than he is in Barcelona.

New Camp Nou, having Messi back. Am I the only one seeing that Barcelona is seeking to use Messi to generate more money more than having a high quality player. I mean Messi is one of the best players in the world and he is still good even though he is getting old and so on. A team with wise management trying to secure the future of the team for the next 10 years will try to give their players a chance to improve, recruit young talented players, not try to recruit again an old player, with respect to Messi career..

You have said rightly, but on a more serious note even if Lionel Messi signs for Barcelona again he won't generate much money for the club like before so i wonder what plan the management have that they want to sign Messi again and moreover, the club is still owing him so how will they balance his salary and the existing amount they are owing him. Lionel Messi can still perform well for Barcelona but age is dawning on him and he may not perform same way when he was reigning for the club so i hope the club's management is aware of the decision they want to take. They should focus more on building young talented players that will later generate money for them after they are sold to other clubs instead of planning on lavishing money on one single player again. Lionel Messi should not even consider going back to Barcelona, let it just end with the record he has achieved for the club.

This is the news i have been waiting for!!!!! TAA is finally almost finished his process to join in Real Madrid. The news came from Marca, which is likely accurate.

Glad to see them finally gets him as a new RB, which obviously make club becomes evens stronger than before. They will have a quality RB, and most likely they will put Vazquez back to the bench.

They're now almost a complete squad. They need only to sign some additional players for cb., and mid.
What wonderful news finally, Trent Alexander Arnold will be announced as a Real Madrid player. I’m happy for Real Madrid as they will soon finally get their target. Carlo Ancelotti made a good decision signing TAA, his playmaking ability from deep will add another creative dimension to Madrid's attacking transitions.

This is no longer a surprise as many have already guessed that Trent Alexander Arnold will be a Real Madrid player when this season ends. The most obvious sign was when Trent ignored the offer of a £78m contract extension, though it was equivalent to a salary of £300,000 a week but Trent seemed to ignore the big payout. So it's pretty clear that he has no interest in staying at Liverpool and will most likely go and join Bellingham in Madrid. A huge advantage for Real Madrid and obviously a huge loss for Liverpool as they not only lost a good player but also didn't get a penny from his departure.

Although Rodrygo has been in the rumor blender for some time, this time it is not only paper talk. Liverpool is legitimate getting ready to surpass their own record with €120M. They ain't even happy with Nunez or Jota's output, and this is more than what they paid for.

Real won't move unless someone drops a billion (literally), but this is not about Real being "willing to sell". It’s about Liverpool setting a tone. Salah's contract is running out, and although he is still on fire (32G + 22A in 43 games)? There is uncertainty over a new contract. This Rodrygo bid screams: Salah walks and we are not caught wearing our pants down. Liverpool's looking for a top-grade successor early on even if Rodrygo doesn't show up.

Kenan Yıldız has shown a great performance this season. But I expected him to score more. His contribution to the team game is high. That's why many European clubs want to sign him. But I think he should have scored more. Also, Manchester United will not be in the Champions League next season. I think Kenan Yıldız will consider this detail when making his decision. Because according to the news in the press, there are many clubs looking to sign him.

Oh this is going to be very interesting. Real Madrid is really building not just los galacticos, but the greatest team ever assembled, and the fact that they are not really great, like not getting even leaders of la liga this year, is shocking, but next year they should be even better. Injuries played a big role, and Carvajal is out, when he comes back, TAA will be there, so you think Carvajal could take their position back?

I am not entirely sure about it, feels as if TAA will be playing and Carvajal will be bench, sad for him but certainly makes Real Madrid a better team. They also need a proper defender. Rudiger is great, but Militao isn't what they assume he would be, a great centre there would help them so much. Plus, they need to avoid further injuries next season.

If I was Liverpool I would try to keep Mo Salah for a few more years instead of trying to replace him with another expensive player and instead I would put 2-3 promising young cheap players under his training and at least one should hopefully be able to learn from him and one day replace him. That would be the best thing the club could do in my opinion and they would save or even earn a lot of money.

I think its beautiful that Barcelona wants to honour Messi with a special contract before the reopening of their newly renovated Camp Nou. Given his legendary status at the club, such a gesture would not only celebrate his immense contribution but also excite fans eager to see him back at the iconic stadium.
But is a special contract really that meaningful? I mean, the club can easily give him a special reward or position given that he is a club legend (despite some drama around his exit). Feels like a waste of recruitment if the goal is just to hype the new stadium, let him sit on the bench, and then retire. It's not like you have to honor your greatest player ever that way.

Well, I'm not a Barca or Messi fan so that's probably why I don't understand why a special contract is meaningful. Speaking from a practical perspective giving him a one-in-a-lifetime medal plus tons of money is great too imo.

It doesn’t make sense looking at a sporting level but I don’t think they are actually looking at it from this perspective rather they are looking at from the monetary perspective ( we all know Barcelona are looking for money from all angle), just imagine how the attendance will be on his second debut for the club it will definitely generate large ticket sales, not to talk of the Jersey sales I think they will make excessive profits on that too, remember the sale PSG had in his first season.

As for him staying on the bench I don’t think the contract will even be for a long term I think it will be all those short contracts offered to MLS players when the league is on break, this can be for just six months

Nope, they will never agree on it to let him go to other clubs. Because currently he is one of the key players in the Real Madrid team, and Real Madrid has just reorganized their team and made it better by signing new players like Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham and more. They are trying to sign more good players. So I don't think they will feel any hesitation in losing Rodrigo. No matter how much Liverpool struggles and offers a big amount but I am sure that Real Madrid Rodrigo would never let him go to Liverpool.

Beside that Liverpool's disappointing elimination from UCL make Muhammad Salah is free from further restraint, like he is no longer happy to stay at Liverpool. He wants to move to another club. Which could be a fatal loss for Liverpool. Liverpool should emphasize Salah and give him an extension. Because his presence can yield good results for the team.

I had this assumption, but Liverpool will not do that. The most important thing that makes Liverpool not retain Moh Salah is because Liverpool currently wants to get instant results from professional players when Liverpool's achievements are in good form in the EPL. So Liverpool does not want to have a longer process to build young players in the next few seasons. On the one hand, regeneration must be done for the sake of squad performance stability.

One of the evidences that makes me more convinced that Liverpool will release Moh Salah is, Liverpool is associated with several professional players and one of them is Ademola Lookman from Atalanta. Liverpool is getting hotter and has the ambition to defend the EPL title with professional players.

Real Madrid are known for their ability to attract top players because aside the fact that they actually gives you the opportunity to win major trophies like the champions league, your fame will also increased. I think Arnold definitely looks at this things even after winning everything already at Liverpool he still wants a move to the biggest club in the world.

Now to the question will he be able to take Carvajal out of the team? Personally for me it will be hard for him to get ahead of Carvajal because Arnold lacks some attributes that makes him a better or complete right back. He is only good at attacking side of his game whereas his defensive ability is really poor, Carvajal might not be a great crosser of the ball like Arnold but he is damn on the top for right back with great crosses and he is strong defensively, for me Carvajal stands out but with this recent injury let’s hope he get back his form.

As for Eder Militao it is clear that Real Madrid are looking to actually replace him with Saliba as the rumors continue to grow

Liverpool probably doesn't want to pay Salah a higher salary than they already pay him next season and that could be the reason why there is no talk of extending his contract so far, because Salah is no longer a young player and Liverpool are looking at him as a player who could only perform well in one more season, so they wouldn't want to have a long-term contract with Salah

and I highly doubt that Salah will accept a contract of only 1 year and with the same salary that he earns. This impasse will make him leave the team and go to Saudi Arabia if they make him a big offer, Salah's age means he has to think about retirement, which is why I would agree with him if he went to Saudi Arabia

There is no ground on why Liverpool will want to keep him, he is winning the Premier League and that's cool but this is not his first with the club, he has won it before. My suggestion would have gone to Balon D'or if they have won the Champions League but they didn't even last immediately the knockout stage, they couldn't win the EFL Cup, his chance of winning the Balon D'or has reduce drastically because how is he going to win it with just the Premier League.

There are more things to explore than only the English leagues, he can try Saudi like his dear brother, Mane is there and he is making his money without the media thing, he will get paid more than he is earning in Liverpool for sure. If he decide to stay back in Liverpool, he should know that he is doing it for the passion but the money won't come or increases and the chance of winning the Balon D'or have reduce because this Premier League table wouldn't be the same next season.

Looking at the current news, what I can actually conclude is that TAA has indeed rejected a contract extension with Liverpool, although in the end the current trend is towards Madrid because of previous rumors, but that doesn't mean it can be confirmed even with a percentage like that because in any case, we will find it difficult to find validation when talking about Madrid and the players who will be brought in considering that they are currently quite closed to such things.

But indeed, with TAA's rejection of Liverpool, there is a chance for Madrid to recruit classy players again for free, just like they did to Mbappe last season.

Currently, the right-back position is slightly hampered when Carvajal cannot play due to ACL. Although Vazquez is still there, there is still a slight gap that occurs even to Valverde who also helps and is sometimes positioned at right-back. If in the end there is a possibility for TAA to come in, this will clearly be a pretty good strength, especially since his vision in helping attacks with overlaps has always been pretty good at Liverpool.

I liked the plan of coinciding his signing with the time of their returning to Camp Nou though.  Smiley  The fans would love the idea as well but I still can't trust these sources completely... Normally I was also hoping to see his jubilee at Barcelona instead of his childhood team Newell's Old Boys or somewhere else. Watching him side by side with Yamal for some games sounds quite interesting. But probably this will stay as a rumour only. I feel like he will end his career in the USA. He already owns the MLS.  Tongue
That will be good for Barcelona fans but it will not be good for the finances of Barcelona because if this news is true then indirectly they will make another death hole for their finances which are now starting to get a little better.

In addition, with the current conditions and with Messi's age now what is expected of Messi about the performance that has decreased dramatically. It's not that he's not great because he's a goat but his prime has run out so why impose it just because of his great popularity.
Maybe indeed the popularity advantage will be able to help Barcelona a little but in the end it will only be enough to cover Messi's salary in the end because when talking about declining performance even though he is one of the recognized GOATs but still his contribution will not be the same as before.

That is the big advantage that Real Madrid probably still has over every other club. Barcelona during the prime I think was on the same level because of Messi, but if you only take the names and ask around in the world it is Real Madrid that is the most popular club. For players this has several consequences. Of course the chance to win trophies with them increases, but I think Liverpool isn't the worst place to be at when it' about titles. But the marketing value of the players increases too and this is where Real Madrid is superior to other clubs. Another big advantage is that going to Real Madrid means to play with Mbappe for example. Lots of good things waiting and since you said Arnold lacks some attributes, what are you referring to?
