Gundogan is officially extending his contract for another year in Manchester City. A bit disappointed how they were extending Gundogan's contract instead of KDB. I know both were veteran, but KDB might give greater impact to the his juniors instead of Gundo.

Been watching him so many times this season, and always inconsistent. Although he has intellegence, he's not as good as KDB. Does pep keen to setting him up as a new manager? who knows.

From what I understand, Guardiola must have encouraged Kevin De Bruyne's departure because when he gets injured, he recovers slowly and in a short time he gets injured again - which forces Guardiola not to put him on as soon as he recovers to play for 90 minutes and this also ruins Guardiola's game plans. So I believe that Guardiola wants to keep the players who are less prone to injuries and who, when they do get injured, heal quickly.
That reason actually makes sense, but considering Gundo has less impact to the club. It sounds when you sacked someone who being very useful to the club, it could be a mistake. Even KDB has said by himself he still able to play in the professional scene.

If we are also carefully seeing how big his contribution in the games for City, he deserves at least one year additional contract. Injury prone might be the main concern, but he still performs accordingly.

Well, there can't be any doubt that Hojlund needs replacing because he isn't capable of producing anything except for how to fake a fall or never score a goal. Hojlund's experiment isn't working and never will, and it's time they give up the dream, offloaded him to Serie A, and ran with the money while they still can. Osimhen is a good option.
It's painfully obvious that United will be GK shopping also.. Nothing they have is Premier League quality.
Osimhen is a good option for Manchester United as we can say, but will the management be willing to pay a huge sum of money required for signing Osimhen? That's a question we forget to ask. However, it is expected of Manchester United to let go of many of its players for new fresher players to come on board to facilitate Amorim match tactics of match wins

Why not? United will release many of its players at the end of the season, so they will have a large fund from the proceeds of the sale of those players.
United doesn't need a talented young striker now. We can see how badly they hurt on the field because they can't finish chances. United needs someone who knows how to score and show young strikers at United how to do it. Osimhen's done it at the elite level consistently. United needs Osimhen.

Getting De Gea back is still a terrible idea, and I have said this probably a month ago when the rumours first started and saying it again. He is old, he is getting to be 34 or something, maybe more, makes no sense to hire someone who is that old.

Of course he would be much better than Onana, nobody questions that, but if you are a true United fan, you would remember his last year, his reflexes wasn't enough and he was having trouble. He worked hard on the season he didn't play, but then he got into Fiorentina and showed his hard work, but how long will that last? One more season? Two more seasons? I doubt he would do good for a long time, we are not going to see him do much all together, we need to remember that, they need someone younger.
I don’t see the need to bring De Gea back to Manchester United. The decision to part ways has already been made, United have to move on. If Onana is no longer m good enough for the team they can sort other options elsewhere, I believe De Gea is not the only good keeper available to Manchester United.
Just give me a good reason why you think they shouldn't bring back De Gea back to Manchester United? David De Gea won't be the only player to come back to his former club, many players in the past has done that. Manchester United knows the capacity of De Gea and how important he can be for them in high profile matches, and in the premier league. De Gea is a proven goal keeper who will fit in perfectly with the premier league demands. Manchester United don't need a new trial and errors with their goal keeper. They don't have to start with another experiment at the start of next season. They tried that with Onana and it didn't work, they don't need that again in the upcoming season that all eyes will be on Amorim, to see how well he will lead the team. To me I don't see any problem in bringing that young man back to the club.

The Red Devils have handle more troubling challenges and resolved them then why is scouting for a potential goalie becoming something that disturbs them? They're in the market and knowing exactly what to do but they're just reluctant on doing the right thing. Here is my advice, loan or trigger the sell clause of Andre Onana and bring in a new goalkeeper capable of playing under pressure and that's the weak spot for Andre Onana.

Manchester United headcoach, Ruben Amorim is fed up already with Andre Onana flaws and high time to do something to fix this issue. David De Gea is a top goalie for Manchester United. He was once valued as the best in the club but what change? Alot happen in the club with Manchester United failing to meet the terms given by David De Gea.

Till then, when the transfer window is open, who will know the club that Osimhen is finally moving into.

The forward names of the big teams should also be star players or players with star potential. When the big teams end the transfer period without signing a good forward, they feel a lack of forwards during the season, but it is too late. I think it was the big teams' mistake that Osimhen was not transferred by the big teams last summer. Leaving a player like Osimhen to make a sudden decision in the last days of the transfer period is a big transfer mistake.

Osimhen is a player who can take a team to the top and make them champions. The big teams will make a good deal for Osimhen in this transfer period and complete this transfer.

Ok let me give you good reasons, first of all let’s start with Onana was a very bad signing and Manchester United got it wrong like every other club does while replacing a player, they shouldn’t have allowed De Gea go and should have given him even a year contract to see how there replacement will fair, but it was as a mistake that can happen to just every club.

But then is it right for them to bring in David De Gea back? I will personally say No except if it is as a back up, but if they are trying to replace Onana then it should be for a very young goalkeeper that they can have for many years to come, De Gea isn’t that solution, I can still recall De Gea making numerous errors too during his time at Manchester United so he isn’t perfect as people painted him.

Most of the time it is very bad going back to your ex player because it usually back fires, Real Madrid had goalkeeper crisis after letting Casillas go but that didn’t make them go back to him, personally I think a new goalkeeper as number one will be perfect than an already aged David De Gea

What we should know is that it's not about if Manchester United can afford signing a striker like Victor Osimhen with what Napoli are offering to sell him. But it will first and majorly depend on Manchester United winning the Europa league which is what will secure United a spot in the UCL next season for player's like Osimhen to be interested in going to United because every big player wants to play in the elite competition.

De Gea's saves are more reliable than Onana's, the Red Devils need a good goalkeeper like De Gea. Onana has been tried and it is not possible to say that De Gea is good either. I think De Gea's departure was a mistake in the first place, he left the team because he did not fit Eric Tan Hag's game plan, this goalkeeper was always good during his time at United, it is interesting how he did not fit Eric Tan Hag at that time.

I do not see De Gea coming back to Manchester United as very likely.

While it is understandable that fans would rather see Barcelona keep Raphinha, it is also not reasonable to expect them to pay the whole house on him. Remember, they did the same thing to Frankie De Jong and look at them right now, having trouble getting rid of him and hoping his salary would go down or he would be leaving.

So there is no way that Raphinha could be paid 20+ million a year, nearly 30 million and then that would be fine for Barcelona. He should be getting 10-15, that is what he is worth but more importantly that is what Barcelona can pay for a player because they are in a financially troubled situation. If they decide to pay 25-30 million salary for a single player, then they are not going to be able to get anyone else and hope that everyone stays for the same price and plays exactly the same.

Signing Osimhen will be a big boost for the team, but can Osimhen join Manchester United?
I heard that he is a Chelsea fan and is willing to sign for the blues, and the blues are also in a race to sign him, don’t you think he will prefer joining Chelsea than Manchester United ?
Victor Osimhen will be a great signing for Manchester United if they can make a deal with Napoli happen in the summer. Chelsea are also linked to Victor Osimhen and I can’t say for certain which will be Osimhen’s likely option when time comes, my instincts say Chelsea though. I’m sure one of these teams will get his signature as he is keen on leaving the Turkish League.

United needs Osimhen; nobody doubts that. But remember, they are not the only ones who are interested in signing Osimhen; some other clubs will be interested in signing him. The highest bidder that agrees with the price Osimhen is placed on, will be the club that will successfully sign Osimhen to their team. Till then, when the transfer window is open, who will know the club that Osimhen is finally moving into.
What we should know is that it's not about if Manchester United can afford signing a striker like Victor Osimhen with what Napoli are offering to sell him. But it will first and majorly depend on Manchester United winning the Europa league which is what will secure United a spot in the UCL next season for player's like Osimhen to be interested in going to United because every big player wants to play in the elite competition.
even though playing in the UCL and hopefully getting to win it is always a thing every player usually hopes to achieve, playing at united is also a privilege and if osimehn is someone that thinks playing at Manchester United is an option, with or without them playing in the UCL, he will still want to join them when there's a genuine interest in him by the club. As long as the club is interested in him and his agent wants to sell him, that's obviously the end of the story, he has little say again as long as the two people decides that the transfer is a possibility.. another question is, does the style of osimehn suits what Manchester United actually needs? Coming into a team that's struggling as a top nine will demand that you're at the top of your game and that you're able to score enough goal to make an impression for both fans and the club management. If you're unable to do that in the space of few weeks of being signed into the club, that's going to be the start of something really bad for him in the club. Left for me, since he's doing well at galatasaray, there's no point of thinking of coming to the premier league, just remain where you're valued and help your team win games.

De Gea is still quite good and even for now during his return to Serie A his performance is very good but of course it is also not a reasonable thing if Manchester United are looking for him again as an option for Onana at this time.
De Gea is already comfortable with his position at Fiorentina so in this case even if Manchester United want him back I think he will also think several times about agreeing to this.
Manchester United made mistakes in the past and re-signing De Gea is a step of redemption in my opinion. But I agree in another view because re-signing De Gea could not be so good because Manchester United have made a bad decision and inadvertently hurt his feelings. In terms of quality he is still pretty good and his average game at Fiorentina is quite impressive.

It is better to look for other options by bringing in a young goalkeeper who has quality so that in the long term they have a much better goalkeeper. Onana does need to be given a little pressure because with another goalkeeper there will be competition for a regular place at the club.
The current situation actually only has to focus on professionalism, I think because however these two parties are a little difficult if they are forced together it is not too possible.

De Gea's age must be taken into consideration even though we can see that his performance is very good at Fiorentina but his current age is not too young anymore even though this does not have a big effect because he is a goalkeeper but still Serie A and the EPL are clearly different so it would be better if De Gea stays in his current place where Fiortentina has considered him very good and Manchester United must look for other options to replace Onana's current role.

Indeed, cooperation is still possible if both parties agree to this but of course with the awkward situation a few seasons ago I think it will be very difficult if in the end both parties (Manchester United and De Gea) can be fine later when this possibility occurs.

Maybe Kevin De Bruyne didn't want to stay in Europe anymore. Because he spent so many seasons with Manchester City, he almost completed his career in Manchester city by winning UEFA Champions league titles, EPL and many others trophies. So possibly now he wants to go for some relaxation time, like to earn money and enjoy football (Saudi Pro league). So I think it's the reason that KDB didn't want to extend his contract with Manchester city to be the part of Guardiola field.

I don't know what will next come up for discussion regarding through KDB but I hope Kevin De Bruyne will move to Saudi Arabia or MLS rather than extend with Manchester city.

That price is already a standard price for Osimhen at the moment because it seems Napoli have learned from last season's mistakes by continuing to try to get a higher price from PSG which ended in misfortune.

At the moment Osimhen's value is decreasing and things like this are still possible for a struggle later even though 75 million is not classified as a cheap price but still compared to last season then this is still quite worth it but it depends on which club will be used as a port for Osimhen later.
Currently there are still several big clubs interested in Osimhen but this must be considered so as not to let Osimhen take the wrong step in choosing a club because it could be that when he was wrong in choosing a club what happened instead of improving his existing performance he actually worsened the atmosphere where his performance did not develop. There have been many cases of some players who are not suitable but are forced with a new club which in the end it actually disrupts the professional career they have.

You raised some good things to think about with Osimhen possibly moving to another team. It seems like Napoli his current team is handling things differently this time. They want to get good amount of money for him especially after what happened with PSG last time. It makes sense that Napoli does not want that to happen again.
It is also possible that Osimhen might not be worth as much money now as he was before. By the way 75 million is still a lot. If Napoli waits too long to sell him they might not get as much money.
It is undeniable that in the end the price is still quite expensive but for clubs who want Osimhen then inevitably they must try to make this clause reach an agreement. Napoli have reduced quite a lot compared to before because they realize that for now they will not be able to force Osimhen to be worth 100 million because it will be very difficult even though for now in the Turkish Super League he is still very dominant with 24 matches 21 goals he scored as well as for the Europa League he scored 6 goals in 7 appearances at this time but that will also not make his value more than that so 75 million although it is quite expensive but for me it is worth it

Quote
But I think most important thing you said is that Osimhen needs to choose his next team very carefully. You are right there are many players who were very talented but did not do well after joining wrong team. It is important for Osimhen to find team where he fits how they play. This is even more important than how much money his transfer costs. I hope he and people helping him will think carefully about all teams that want him to make sure he chooses best one for his future.
This should be taken into consideration because after all, the club can affect performance whether future performance is better or worse.

He must have understood this because being in a new club with new intensity and different tension requires better adaptation so in the end if in the end Osimhen is now in need of several clubs to fill his puzzle for the future then he must look from several sides because after all the right choice of club can make his performance even better.

All decisions have been considered because if we see that for KDB's affairs Manchester City is not actually not trying hard but KDB herself wants to leave Manchester City and wants to find adventures in new competitions that suit her age.

Actually I am not too surprised by this contract extension even though Gundogan is quite old for now but he is still quite able to move tactically on the field especially since he also has experience and can be used as an option for rotation later in the season.

Manchester City are always famous for renewing their young players because Pep is quite happy with the fast pace but even so Gundogan can still be used as an option as a good ball distributor to create calm in the Manchester City midfield so a 1-year contract extension is not too bad.

Money can never be the problem when it comes to signing Osimhen. United has the financial strength to do that but one thing that will attract Osimhen to Old Trafford is champions league football. There are other teams that want his signature and If they can agree to his wages and can give him champions league football, he may not come to United. But If United can win the Europa league, it would better their chances of signing him.

One thing that is certain about Osimhen future is that he will leave Galatasaray. Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are all said to be interested in signing him , but of the three teams, Chelsea have shown serious interest since last season. Besides, considering his relationship with Napoli which is not so harmonious, it is unlikely that Osimhen will return to Italy next season. If Osimhen is ambitious to win the Premier League trophy in the near future, Arsenal is a better choice. Because Chelsea and Manchester United still seem to be struggling to become title challengers.

Honestly, I don't think we should be comparing De Gea and Onana. The two of them never had the same time of play and the circumstances were different. When De Gea came to Manchester United, the club was one of the best that if they don't finish first, they will finish second place in many leagues they are and De Gea didn't made an appearance mist often until later and mind you the club position was very rich with plenty of players that were ready for the club.

However, Onana case is different because he came when ETH was trying and struggling to make good place for the club and everything he did failed and the pressure is there on every player. Right now, Onana is facing so much that it's very difficult for him to do much for the club, he is afraid of making mistakes so he doesn't get bash but the same fear is making him perform very poor, this was the same thing ETH saw that he never fired him because his past performance, he did well for Inter.
