What fair for him would be 20 million or so like Transfermarkt would make it a lot better. What we are seeing here is unfair and Leverkusen paid top money for him. While it is true that Leverkusen made a ton of money from the Wirtz sale and that is why they feel like they can spend 35 on a guy whose worth is 20, but that is still a mistake.

The only reason why Leverkusen paid this much, is because the player is at Liverpool and Liverpool do not "need" money, you can only get players for cheap if they want to get rid of a player, or you would have to overpay for them and they overpaid in this case. That is why it's quite a tough deal for Leverkusen, to pay back some of that wirtz money back to Liverpool, but I hope they can get the best out of him.

I think it is also true that Arsenal always transfers less popular players during the transfer period. Nico Williams is a man of his words, because I remembered last two seasons when Barcelona wanted to sign him along side with Dani Olmo, he turned down their offer and told them that he wants to play one more season in Bilbao. I totally agree with you. If Brentford gets greedy and asks for more money, United should walk away. The offer is more than enough for a player of his quality.
