It seems Onana's injury really give Manchester United fans joy.  Their club is trying to approach Martinez to join as their new goalie. I think he's an upgrade from what they have. However, only hope them to be cautious with Martinez's attitude and mannerism.

And just for the record, Arsenal and Man UTD are not in this same level as it stands, not about the new player Viktor Gyökeres but is the fact.

Last I check, Amorim was the previous sporting cp manager, he was doing well until he switched path to Premier league and things hasn't been the same and that's because clearly Premier league is very tough and competitive. Viktor Gyökeres has had a good career in Sporting CP but that doesn't uplift Arsenal performance to the top of the table but I expect to see some changes since they now have a perfect striker that is going to do more for the club than they have always wanted.

Manchester United is in a recovery phase. I think they'll finish the season with good signings in critical areas without making too many transfers this year. They'll aim to finish at the top of the table next year. If they achieve this, I expect significant transfer activity for Manchester United next summer. However, I expected Gyökeres to join Manchester United, but I must admit I'm quite surprised. Arsenal seemed to want him so badly that they finally got him.

It's hard to deny Chelsea is always good in doing football business. They bought Veiga for 14m, then so many offers came for them. The first one was coming from Atletico, which was around 35m (add ons). However i believe Chelsea can push Atletico to deal with their asking price.
It's also good for Atletico to get him as a new CB, and the positive is that he can also play as LB as well, though it's not his main position.

Right now Manchester United cannot be compared to the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea or any last seasons top 6 but what will happen next season, saying Manchester United will not dominate even smaller clubs next season is something I will say we need to actually wait and see, top clubs can have one bad season, finish in places where they are not supposed to finish but with the right squad going into the next season they can have a shift of form and compete.

In this Viktor Gyokeres transfer the club didn’t have any other choice to push because the club is not playing in any European competition next season and this had the player made his choice of playing for Arsenal and even if Manchester United had pushed and gotten a deal struck with Sporting, personal deal with Gyokeres will be hard but had Manchester United won the Europa league and would be playing the champions league next season they would have had a chance but without it they didn’t.

This was a truly excellent signing for Arsenal. I believe we'll see a much better Arsenal forward this year. They signed a player who performed exceptionally well with Sporting Lisbon last year. The Swedish striker also played exceptionally well for the Swedish national team. I'm sure he'll score plenty of goals for Arsenal in the Premier League. He's good enough to fill the gap in quality strikers Arsenal have been needing for a long time.

I quite agree with you on Arsenal being better than Manchester United in the last few years despite that Manchester United have achieved more trophies than Arsenal. Gyokeres may not bring liberation to Arsenal but his signing brought excitement to Arsenal because it was anticipated to boost the structure of the attacking positions. For the fact that Gyokeres wanted Arsenal against all odds and succeeded means he will be devoted towards the growth of the team so it's really a good signing that will strengthen Arsenal's squad.

I get you and you are right but this was the same way UTD went about business and they almost finished in a very dangerous place so I said what I said because the way they handle business last time was a bit better than this very transfer market and they haven't gotten the right players to help make the team stronger. It was exactly what I was saying last time and it happened, we could wait to see how they display what they have or we could see things how it will happen next campaign.
At some point I was hoping it was Man UTD who won the Europa League title because the Spurs who won the title doesn't have any appreciation for the manager that did won it for them, but that aside. If Manchester United had won that title I don't see why Viktor Gyökeres won't have reasoned to join them and maybe some other players, it would have been easy for players to come in and their mouth would have been stronger to convince players in the market but as it is they have to go for players who wants to play only the EPL and some of the domestic competitions because it would be very hard to get quality players, now they need to start from the grass root.

Yes it is plausible that Arsenal fans are very happy at the moment because after a long negotiation between the North Londoners and Portuguese football club this player will finally be able to join the Gunners. There is definitely something special about this Swedish player, otherwise the Gunners would not have had such unwavering faith in him and Arsenal is undoubtedly his new home. Arsenal Football Club may have begun work on completing the deal before the start of their pre-season, I think since Gyokeres is already signed, he could join the team in Asia after completing his medical and maybe he could be selected for training there as well.
