Martinez would have been a better choice for Manchester United but it happened that the better choice was not the available option so they had to shift focus to Lammens and just as expected they were able to complete the deal before deadline while Martinez stayed back at Aston Villa.
Yeah, that was the ideal goalkeeper signing Ruben Amorim wanted but the decision of Sancho not joining Aston Villa a hundred percent made Manchester United go all in for Lammens. I'm glad he came. He is not just better than Andrea Onana at the moment statistically, but also better that Martinez. I'm sure he will have a quick impact against Manchester City next week during the Manchester derby.

Aston Villa has agreed a loan move with Liverpool for Harvey Elliott with an obligation to buy for £35 million next summer. I think I understand why Liverpool has decided to loan him out with an option to sell him later, it's for his own good. He doesn't get much game time and always sitting on the bench. With Liverpool's latest signings this season, I don't see him breaking into the first eleven so the best option was to let him go to another club where he can continue playing.
Harvey Elliott's loan to Aston Villa was intended to unlock his potential. I think it was a good move by Liverpool rather than him spending every week on the bench. Elliott is a player with excellent vision, as evidenced by his role in helping the England U21 national team. With this new opportunity at Aston Villa and the hope of getting enough playing time, I'm sure Tuchel will consider him for the World Cup. I think so too. Harvey Elliot in his time with Liverpool showed good prospects for the future but lack of playing time limited him from a lot if opportunities so I believe at Aston Villa he will get that playing minutes and a better environment to improve and develop quickly.

Frequent injuries can be very disruptive to a player's performance, especially if they recur, so there's really no hope for Gabriel Jesus. I think Arsenal's decision not to include Gabriel Jesus in the Champions League is quite appropriate. He's already very injury-prone, and there are plenty of other options in Arsenal's attack, so it's better to give him the opportunity. Regarding Gabriel Jesus' future, I think it's difficult for Arsenal to sell him if he's in a position where injuries are frequent. Other teams are aware of that and don't want that.
He has missed so many games so far in his career. In fact, he has two pages on his history of injuries, you know things are not good for a player when there is a second page listing all the injuries. The biggest one was of course latest one, missed 44 games, missed 314 days, a huge miss, but not like he was some ironman type of player before that, he was always known to be injury prone. Like just a year before that, he missed 15+ games again, so it's clear that when you have that type of season for 2-3 years in a row, that makes the team not want you that much, and that is understandable, it's normal. We should consider that he is going to be sold to some other team eventually, he will probably just focus on his life elsewhere soon.

Today is my saddest day of the new month. I just watched Lammens blunder videos from bloggers and I almost cried. The dude makes more costly mistakes than Onana. I didn't understand my mood after watching the video. What really was the problem with the Martinez collapsed deal? I know bloggers can be funny, but such a compilation is liable to drop the performance of a good goal keeper.
Was Martinez inability to come Manchester united related to Sancho?
I also saw those videos but most of those videos are old videos and from the past. He could be much better than what we saw in those video besides most keepers also have video from a time they were not in good form and made similar blunders so let’s hit the brakes and wait to see how he performs for United before making conclusions.

It's bittersweet seeing Elliot leaves from the club. He seems get no trust by Slot, and try deal with a new challenge. He always worked so hard to achieve his target. He always been so devoted, and can't believe he leaves this fast. Maybe, he knows he has no place in the squad, and finding a new a home is the right decision for him. I also saw his letter, and it feels he leaves as a permanent transfer, not only for loan as i believe his buy clause will be triggered by Villa.

I think so too. Harvey Elliot in his time with Liverpool showed good prospects for the future but lack of playing time limited him from a lot if opportunities so I believe at Aston Villa he will get that playing minutes and a better environment to improve and develop quickly.
This is a great choice because it will give Harvey Elliott the opportunity to play regularly, allowing him to maximize his potential. At Aston Villa, Harvey Elliott will get the chance to play, and it will be much easier for him to improve his individual performance. It's different at Liverpool, where he faces a lot of competition, making it difficult for him to get regular playing time. If his abilities improve, Liverpool will also benefit greatly because Harvey Elliott is only on loan, so Liverpool can bring him back when the loan period ends.

After selling Ederson to Fenerbahçe, Manchester City signed Gianluigi Donnarumma from PSG for €35 million.
Last night, Fenerbahçe completed the transfers of Asensio and Ederson. Ederson arrived in Istanbul today for the signing.
Galatasaray signed Uğurcan Çakır from Trabzonspor for €26.5 million. In addition, they brought İlkay Gündoğan from Manchester City to Istanbul today to finalize his transfer.
Ederson to Fenerbahce is a good move to me and also a good step towards improvement for the squad. Ederson will bring quality to the team between the sticks same thing for Donnarumma for Manchester City. Guardiola has gotten fed up with Ederson’s inconsistency and that is why he agreed to sell him out. This deal is more beneficial to Manchester City because Pep Guardiola is tired of Ederson but same goal keeper that is not doing well in Manchester City is considered as a good signing for Fenerbahce to me I don't know if he will do better in Turkish league since his performance is poor in Manchester City, Donnarumma moving to City is a good replacement though City is struggling to get back to form but the arrival of the new keeper can add to their performance and improve the game play of the team. The deal favours City more because Ederson has given his best before leaving the team.

How do you feel about Liverpool's transfers this season? Are they effective? What are your predictions? Remember, they spent nearly €244 million just on Isak and Florian Wirtz. Isak may already be accustomed to the EPL, but Florian Wirtz is coming from Germany. Hopefully, he will be able to give his best contribution. Liverpool has become the record-breaking transfer team with the arrival of Isak.
Liverpool was very ambitious to sign Alexander trying to get him to join before the transfer window closed or even Liverpool's offer had been rejected by Newcastle. And in the end, Liverpool managed to sign Isak to strengthen their team. There's a possibility that Isak will play as a lone striker if Liverpool uses a 4-2-3-1 formation. But I personally prefer to see Slot try using a 4-4-2 or 4-2-2-2 formation when chasing goals. And I can't imagine how Arne Slot would arrange this formation for their players. Maybe Slot's plan is to pair Isak with Salah, where Isak's unpredictable movements can capitalize on Salah's passes to create goals. Meanwhile, Florian Wirtz seems to need more adaptation time to Liverpool's style of play and that of their opponents. Well let's see what happens in the upcoming matches, where Liverpool has undoubtedly prepared for with a new lineup and rotation. With the recent players that Liverpool signed into their squad, they should be able to defend the title this season. They are the only club that spent so much money in the transfer market this time. They have the quality of players to win the league for them. Liverpool shouldn't be bullies in EPL alone, they should extend that to the Champions League. Indeed Liverpool should utilize the quality players they have or even the new signings to deliver a strong performance. And I think Liverpool will certainly rotate their players to compete in the Champions League and the Premier League. So I think Arne Slot will face various demands to ensure Liverpool performs at their best. And so far I think he's proven that in the last few matches. However we still need to see how Slot plans to perform going forward through the long run of matches. In other case I just saw a report that Alan Shearer commented on Aleksander Isak's unprofessionalism when he went on strike for Newcastle before his transfer to Liverpool ( Source). What are your thoughts on this? Will a similar incident occur or even have an impact in Liverpool?

Ten Hag was not in great demand before he started working with Bayer, I think that after this dismissal his reputation as a coach will be a little damaged. No one wants to work with a person who cannot establish working relationships in a new team. At Manchester United he also had conflicts with players, but he received support from the management and received funding for new transfers, although this did not help the team in any way. Bayer decided not to take such risks and as soon as they realized where everything was heading, they decided to fire him. Indeed, Erik Ten Hag is very chaotic in handling a team. From the events that occurred at Bayer Leverkusen, it is likely that he will no longer be the target of other teams who are looking for coaches. Not forming something new, but instead damaged the existing team with its establishment which was considered unclear as reported why he was fired from Leverkusen who had just completed two matches. Rumors circulated that Bayer Leverkusen was preparing to glance at the former Legend of Real Madrid to rebuild as Xabi Alonso had done.

I'm glad he came. He is not just better than Andrea Onana at the moment statistically, but also better that Martinez. I'm sure he will have a quick impact against Manchester City next week during the Manchester derby.
That's the thing, though. Some players have decent numbers before they came to United, but somehow they failed to perform or regress (except those with an EPL record or exceptional ability like Fernandez). Even Fernandez isn't without issue as far as what a pundit said on the internet. I'm not one to believe their nonsense, but I agree that there's something in United that needs to be solved so that player don't regress easily. Maybe it's about their signing profile, who knows. Hard to give solution when I can't see the full picture.

Before this season, Spurs supporters have always blamed him for their misfortunes, I remember one time I think last season or the previous, the supporters held a protest against Levy stating his inefficiency to drive the club to success and wanted him out so I think this is the fans getting their wish in the end.

No doubt about that, he will get more playing time at Aston Villa compared to Liverpool. His a promising young star but the team has lots of other already made stars in that position, rather than keeping him, the thought it wise to sell him temporarily and at the same time made the team to sign a deal that will also keep him with them after the temporary deal expires. Good move by Liverpool, it's a win win for both the player and the two clubs.

Although Tottenham rarely to win any trophy in 2000s, I don't think Levy is responsible with their downturn. They do have money to buy expensive players, if they have money, but their performance aren't good, the problem are the coach and players. Levy was the person who make Kane to stay long in Tottenham because he forbid him to leave.

Anywhere you see professional players in the team, it will be difficult for some new players to be given opportunity to play to showcase their talent, meaning Aston Villa will give him opportunity to perform for his former team Liverpool to know that they have missed talented player to Aston Villa on loan, even though Harvey Elliott is on loan doesn't matter because I have seen many talented players that have embraced double promotion from loan to be signed as a player for long term contract, with those new players Liverpool have signed in this summer, i don't think they will have interest to use Harvey Elliott to play any tournament because they will not bench those players they bought with huge amount of funds to allow Harvey Elliott to play.

I think that his major problem actually started at Manchester United, he was a decent coach when he was the manager at Ajax. That team that had young talents who mesmerized other teams even in the champions league that year. I still remember in 2019 when these young talent came from behind to eliminate Real Madrid in the Champions League in R16 and Juventus in the Quarter finals before losing out to Tottenham in the semi finals. Ten Hang was incharge of that Ajax team and he was good.

Daniel Levy stepped down from the position of Tottenham Hotspur chairman after 25 years of been incharge, a good news or smell bad omen coming? Before Daniel Levy stepped down, he thought this through and have absolutely no other way to apprehend matters other than giving up, he has family and other priorities he ought to pursue. This is not the time for Levy to be blame because been unchanged and incharged all these years, definitely point out the significance sectors he operates. Hotspur will do better with or without Daniel Levy, the team's board just have to selects a good competent chairman to elect, a good replacement of the outgoing chairman will do.

Liverpool used just one season to go top of chart not just that, they currently are occupying the fist two spots. This goes to show how they have spent a lot this summer. They have had they signings, now is the time to prove these signings by winning silverwares with these sets of players. Chelsea on the other hand too are among the top five but there's wasn't this season. Arsenal that previously hardly spends on transfers is now among the top five in the league for massive spending on a particular player.

In his 25 years as Tottenham Executive Chairman, Levy has only managed to deliver two titles. It's clear that he lacks ambition, but he has done well during his tenure, particularly in developing Tottenham infrastructure, which is certainly commendable. Levy resignation opens up an opportunity for Spurs to show more passion in the competition. I've heard recent rumors that Levy could sell his minority stake, which could attract new investors, especially from the Middle East.

We have not seen Manchester United perform well in the Champions League, Europa League or Premier League in the past season because Ten Hag was in charge of Manchester United at that time. He has made the team's condition so bad that now Manchester United needs a lot of time to recover from that place. The players who are in the team now are not able to contribute much to the team's victory and Manchester United are not able to change many players at the same time, due to which Manchester United's time is passing as before. However, Manchester United eventually relieved Ten Hag of his duties and after Manchester United dismissed him, he was given the opportunity to escape to Leverkusen, although Leverkusen sacked him after only managing a few matches.

Fedirico Chiesa has been excluded from Liverpool's Champions league List. The player wanted to leave England in the summer, Liverpool wanted to sell him in the summer but I guess nobody came with the decent offer for all the parts. It is a very sad story for him, after his severe injury of 3-4 years ago he may have lost part of his talent.
I am really sorry for Chiesa that he could not make the champions league squad with Liverpool, although he has really declined in form. He is a player I really admired during his days a Juventus, but since he came to Liverpool he has been a shadow of himself, maybe because of the injury he had some years back. I think the best thing for him is to try to secure a move away from Liverpool, maybe in this transfer market or in January. He might just find his form somewhere else and begin to play and enjoy himself agaim.
