The reality is simple, we are talking about a player who will do wonders for them for many years in the future. He may or may not get minutes he wants at all times, but when other older players like Silva and such leaves, Savinho will be the one that starts every game and be their star player. I hope that it works well for him and he can stay healthy and be better every single year under Pep.
This will be a test for any young player, and it may take patience for them to become a key player in the coach's plans. Savinho needs to continue improving his skills so that his individual abilities can continue to grow. It's certainly not easy to earn a place in a team with experienced players entrusted by the coach, but it's not impossible for Savinho to become even better in the future.

Every player who starts his career will inevitably face challenges, and it's up to them to seize every moment to continue their development. Senior players can also get injured or move to other clubs, so when Savinho gets the chance to play, that's when he needs to prove his worth.

As far as I know, the Xavi rumours are based on "if" they fire Amorim, it doesn't say anything about them firing him yet. Xavi is available, and seems like will stay available for a while longer, which is weird considering he won La Liga with Barcelona and ever since he was fired nobody hired him, I have a feeling that people did asked him and he declined because I reject the idea that for 1.5 years nobody asked him.

So while I agree that United decided to keep Amorim, there is a possibility that if we see the mend up with a bad result, and eventually fire him, then Xavi is the one they are thinking, otherwise it is not going to be like just fire Amorim for Xavi for changing sake, it's about results Amorim gets and being ready for a possibility.
Yes this debate revolves around club is loyal to their current manager Amorim and at same time having Xavi as easy replacement. And Xavi who has helped Barcelona win LaLiga has not secured job in such long period. They assume that he is likely to reject offers until he gets high profile position. Thus club is not seeking to fire Amorim now but Xavi is on bench as most likely person to fill vacancy in case current manager has major decline in results and needs to be replaced.
To be fair, could anyone say that is a bad idea? I would say that is a great idea and would be amazing for them. It is not about firing a manager, it's just being ready and when they are ready that means we are talking about something that will benefit them a lot, would make it a lot better. Why and how? Because it's clear that we are going to end up with something that will benefit them for a long time.

It should be something that would get them a great amount of help, so it is going to be something that will be profitable for them to be ready. If they already talked to Xavi, and told him that he is their goal to get in case Amorim fails, and if Xavi already accepted, that is perfect. It gives Xavi to study the team every game too.

And as you mentioned, a few names have been linked to the job, but I do not fancy Xavi's and Southgate's candidacies. Both of them are average managers, and I'm not sure they can make a difference at United. Zinedine Zidane would have been my favourite choice, but AFAIK, he's not interested in taking any job except the France national team job.

The Xavi rumor to Manchester united is getting heated.
Just like you, I honestly don't think he can compete in the premier league, with a team like Manchester united. Remember that two or three of the past managers at Manchester united all experienced this problem, so I don't think Xavi's case would be any different.

I have been thinking about Ruud van Nistelrooy.
At least, he did far better in the few games he was in charge of, though I haven't been following his records in his current team. Maybe a trial might be best, because at this point, there are currently no good managers available.
I honestly hope Xavi Hernandez will not consider taking such a huge risk. I know he was fired at Barcelona but his career looks good because he made good impact with the Barcelona before his departure. There are better clubs out there in need of a manager, also big, reputable clubs. Going to United could mess up his career I hope he doesn’t consider it.

Ange Postecoglou is closing in on being sacked in my opinion.  Tongue

A really bad start it is... 2 draws and 5 losses in 7 games. 7 scored and 15 conceded. This is just horrible statistics for a manager who adopts attacking football.

Nuno Espírito Santo was absolutely a way better choice for Forest. He managed to make it to the Europa League you know.

Sérgio Conceição is on his way to Saudi Arabia...

After a 13-year manager experience in Europe, he is setting sail for new adventures. The most successful place for him was Porto as it was full of domestic trophies.

He tried the Ligue 1 and Serie A too. A good rise at Nantes which led him to go to Porto. But a sad downfall at Milan... He must have got a really tempting offer to accept Al-Ittihad now.
Offers from from Saudi can be very tempting. In recent years, we have seen many talents get outrageous offers and move to the Saudi league even the best players in the world make that move so I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sergio follow in that direction. What’s there for him in Europe that will make him turn down an opportunity to make good money in Saudi?

The Nottingham owner is a prick who think he knows it all, he deserves whatever he's getting now for disrespecting Nuno for what he achieved last season. Who in his right senses would sack Nuno for Ange who was sacked for almost relegating Totteham last season. He has a big mouth but tactically he's not a good Coach.

Nuno Espírito Santo was absolutely a way better choice for Forest. He managed to make it to the Europa League you know.
The owner problem with Nuno started when he missed out on champions league football, he confronted Nuno and disrespected him on the pitch for losing the last game that could have taken them to top 5.

I think Sergio could go to Saudi Arabia and earn a lot of money. There's no problem with that. He's currently in a position where he can consider offers from Saudi Arabia. They also pay very well, and he wouldn't be able to get that kind of money from any other team in Europe. Portuguese managers are quite popular in Saudi Arabia. I thought Jose Mourinho would go there too, but he surprised me by going to Portugal.

All Ange can boast of in his seven matches with Nottingham is two draws. Lol, even when he lost to Newcastle this week, many Newcastle fans chanted, "YOU WILL BE SACKED IN THE MORNING!" And this is likely to happen, as Ange could send Nottingham into the relegation zone if management doesn't act quickly.
And the pressure isn't over for Ange, as his next match against Chelsea could see his poor record grow.
Now it's clear that Evangelos Marinakis' actions against Nuno Espirito have had their consequences. Grin

I was actually going to agree with your point if your reason for him not going was simply because of the bad situation that Manchester United have found themselves in at the moment but I immediately disagreed with you immediately you mention there are other reputable and big clubs available that he can go but I ask which club is actually bigger than Manchester United currently that needs a manager I don’t think there is any currently. If this opportunity is presented to Xavi Hernandez I am optimistic he will grab the opportunity because just like other managers it will be an honor to manage an illustrious club like Manchester United plus will be a huge success if the manager is the one that takes them out of their crisis and every manager has this belief that they can do it.

All Ange can boast of in his seven matches with Nottingham is two draws. Lol, even when he lost to Newcastle this week, many Newcastle fans chanted, "YOU WILL BE SACKED IN THE MORNING!" And the pressure isn't over for Ange, as his next match against Chelsea could see his poor record grow.
Now it's clear that Evangelos Marinakis' actions against Nuno Espirito have had their consequences. Grin

This is the chant that Newcastle fan base or should I say English fan base are used to, so it’s not new to Ange Postecoglu. Concerning the sack I don’t think Nottingham Forest Board will actually be doing that now, the gamble by sacking Nuno Espirito and the gamble is actually not going their way I think they have to think of a good solution before going for another manager again

Seven games without a single win will lead any club to relegation if they continue this way. But there is still time for the coach and players to turn things around.

I don’t remember Xavi again not until when I saw his name being brought up again on this thread. He’s actually not a bad coach and can make a difference in another club when given the opportunity. Xavi is a very talented coach and for most of the times he has spent in Barcelona, he actually did his best and deserved every accolades necessary to be given to him. I haven’t heard of him for a while or hasn’t he been coaching any other team since he was sacked by Barcelona? He’s really a great choice for Manchester United if given the chance. Amorim days looks numbered and if he’s not able to do well in his next game, he may be sacked.

The real problem at Manchester United is that when the team experiences poor results, the manager is the only one to be blamed. I don't think the problem is just the manager, because the players need to improve things too. Manchester United has become a team where the fans don't have very high expectations. This is the biggest problem: the fans don't expect success from Manchester United because they know they won't. The reason the fans know this is because they don't make major changes to the team.
Let's assume you're a fan (even though that might be true/false) would you trust much on a team like United after several consecutive seasons of failure? They haven't done anything to gain anybody's trust, so I think it'll remain that way until the whole club has been purged clean. We've been deliberating on Xabi Alonso's interest on becoming a manager, why not just hold on and see what it's going to look like for him??
Quote
If a team is failing, the majority of the team needs to be changed. Manchester United hasn't been successful for a long time, but the team is still playing the same game, and you can't change that by just changing the manager.
Maybe they haven't thought about that for a second... Ronaldo was still a star in his prime, but was sold outta Madrid when the game didn't need him anymore. They always feel like they going to lose something huge if they release a so-called "star" player.

Nottingham Forest did had a very great campaign last season even in the season before last not have been struggling this campaign and with former Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou the current manager not been able to help them return to winning ways, I think the best thing to do is relieve him of his duties at the club and hire another manager who can help rescue them from suffering relegation this campaign.
There'll be more more matches for the club till next two weeks which will be after the international break, so I think the club before the return from the break should get another manager to replace Postecoglou.

That is what you get when you replace a good hand to an amateur based on expectations and assumptions, what we should have learned from clubs that took similar steps of hiring a bad manager after sacking the old one who tried they best to rebuild their clubs, Manchester United hard same problem in the past and I expected that forest will have learn from them and not make similar mistakes like this one

This is part of the reasons they shouldn't just appoint a manager because he did well in his former club, but a thorough assessment should be done, depending on the league he's switching sides to, the team's current abilities, the necessity of having someone with a gameplay like his, progress with other futuristic plans in the league etc. If a manager like Jose, with years of experience in different leagues got expelled like an amateur coach in the making, how much more someone like this? 2 draws and 5 loses is not even considerable for a start!

Unfortunately, the decision to appoint Ange Postecoglou to replace Nuno has been criticized by fans because it was made by the club's feuding owners.
Seven games without a win is bad enough, but with no clean sheets at all, there may be a much better coach than Ange Postecoglou out there.

Perhaps Ange Postecoglou's tenure won't last long, but the club will suffer losses due to continuously firing coaches and paying their compensation.

This is just the beginning of Nottingham forest's problem,  sacking a coach that brought the best out of a low team without investing above the teams financial strength. Last season Nuno helped getting them back to world football and capital generation with the little they have but was shown the way because of minor misunderstanding they had.
After sacking Nuno the world believed the best moment for Nottingham forest has come but we never knew this could be their worst mistake that is why its not good to judge a book by its cover. They believed they will do perfectly well without Nuno but never new that will be the worst decision ever

Is Lamine Diddy the next Fati? It seems his lifestyle is really impacting him. He's often feel discomfort in his pubis area, which is showing how his lifestyle is bad. I think Barcelona needs to teach you and manage him well in order to prevent him gets injury continuously.

If they're still let him doing that bad life style, i'm sure he's gonna be another Ansu Fati. It's also already confirmed he's gonna miss Sevilla games and International break. I can only say speedy recovery for him.
I think the ego that comes along with stardom is gradually getting into Yamal’s head. He is losing his humility and letting the lifestyle overshadow his focus and discipline. Hosting parties and posting on his social media accounts before games is too much for a player his age while he is supposed to be focused on working hard and improving his game. I wish him quick recovery.

The management of Nottingham Forest should slap themselves for the problem the club is facing now because it is a payback for the wrong they did their former coach Nuno Espirito Santo because this was a coach that helped the team achieve a great form last season, i could remember when they went seven straight wins after they won Manchester United last season and played draw against big teams like Liverpool and Arsenal, Nuno Espirito Santo even succeeded in qualifying the team for Europa League which was really very impressive but how the management of Nottingham Forest sacked him after just three matches this season is what i don't even understand so am not even surprised that they are yet to win a match after they only won Brentford in the start of the season.

The Nottingham Forest management seemed hasty in sacking Nuno Espirito Santo. They should have considered keeping him at the club longer after everything he did last season. Ange Postecoglou is indeed a good manager, but his performance so far has been far from what was hoped for. Postecoglou has a pattern where he often succeeds in delivering trophies in his second season, so perhaps the Nottingham Forest management needs to be patient if they truly want to achieve success.

Realistically, Nottingham Forest's chances of success in the Europa League look increasingly slim, and their chances of finishing seventh in the Premier League or better than last season are also getting tougher. Given this situation, the only way to escape the pressure is to secure wins and perform consistently going forward.
