The recent rumor suggest that how Rodrygo is strongly linked to the Chelsea's move. Even some Madrid fans page already tweeted how Chelsea is in direct contact with Real Madrid over Rodrygo's transfer for the summer or winter window. Rodrygo is lacking of minutes there. He's also unable to retain his position due to the being excluded by Xabi. I see no reason for him to stay even if Madrid is one of best team in the world. I've heard Madrid might price him like 50m euros, which i think it's affordable for Chelsea considering he's a fully developed player. I hope he goes to the Blues. Any opinion guys regarding this? I don’t see Chelsea signing Rodrygo because of his huge wages unless he accepts a pay cut. It will be good for him to move to a club where he can get regular playing minutes. The World Cup is approaching and he desperately needs to keep fit.

For now, Arsenal is quite solid in the EPL. In fact, they have a fairly large point difference. This situation seems to be influenced by Arsenal's new sporting director. He is Andrea Bareta, who joined Arsenal last March. This means he makes decisions on Arsenal's transfer policy. He is experienced and spent 12 years at Atletico Madrid. This year, Arsenal also seems to have spent a significant amount of money, around €293.5 million, during the 2025 summer transfer window. What do you think? Can they win the title this season?

Furthermore, Rodrygo has only contributed two assists without any goals.
What about other numbers? I think there's a shift in the narrative where people aren't just looking at goals and assists. Stuff like key passes, chances creation, dribbling, movement, and so on seems to be considered a lot more now. Maybe clubs also use those numbers whenever they're trying to buy or sell players. I think I can see the point of looking pas the G/A numbers too. Of course, these statistics are now of great importance. In the past, a player's talent was enough, but now, when signing a player, teams look at all his statistics. Therefore, how a player performs throughout the match is crucial. If he makes few mistakes and maintains a combative style, that player will certainly be accepted. He doesn't necessarily need to provide assists or score goals. Simply setting the tone is enough. Overall creativity of a player built on his playing position is presently what clubs looks at before picking an interest to sign. Rodrygo is a winger, and for any winger, he has to be merciless with speed, good at positioning and vision, with dribbling skills for chances creation. Is a bonus If the player can be counted for being good with goals and assists. And the choices and preferences from managers are different, there are coaches that will be satisfied with having a winger that is giving him numbers in goals and assists and will have other attributes as secondary to his list.

They appear to be in pretty good shape defensively. They also have good offensive players. The answer to the question of whether they can win the championship this year is, "Why not?" Because everything is going well, they're currently leading the league. They're also doing very well in the Champions League. Considering the budget they spent during the transfer window, their integration with the team has been good. So, judging by their performances in the new season, which has only been a few months, they certainly have a chance to win the championship.

Also, the fact that their supposed opponents (Liverpool and Manchester City) started poorly. But If Manchester City gets a little more consistent, they will once again mount a serious challenge against Arsenal. So far so good for Arsenal, maybe this time round, they finally get to lift the long awaited trophy. I can't imagine how excited their fan will be all around the world.

Despite all the signing that were made by Arsenal this transfer window I have not seen the difference in this Arsenal team because, they are playing almost thesame thing as precious seasons the only reason why Arsenal is up there leading with some points in the league is because Liverpool and Manchester City are all not in form this season. This has given Arsenal to be on top unchallenged so far in the league. There is much room for improvement in this Arsenal set-up if they are to win the premier League this year. I feel that the players that Arsenal bought were overpriced because spending almost three hundred million pounds in the transfer market and still not getting it right is not good one from Arsenal, because with the way Manchester City and Liverpool is playing of recent there is high chances of Arsenal losing out on the league.

Yeah that's the truth that can't be accepted by The Gunners. They're almost same with few change of their players, Gyokeres is still not a reliable striker hence we don't see any much change, Arsenal were been like this before Gyokeres joined. However, Manchester City have show a good improvement recently, Arsenal have to prepare otherwise they might slip again. For Liverpool I think they won't be a champion in this season, they're pretty bad.

I don't see anything wrong with Laporta's statement. Their finances are already in a bad condition. Why would he want to spend some extra money just for a 4-month loan? I don’t understand the media. They see a clip of Messi visiting Camp Nou and they start spreading news of a possible loan deal. People forget the reason why Messi left in the first place Barcelona couldn’t afford Messi’s salary and they still can’t unless they want to go bankrupt.

If you look at Arsenal 5 matches, everything has been making sense until the last one they draw with Sunderland, it's not easy to deal with such a new team that has been terrorizing everyone they met but they should be concerned about Manchester City, their last 5 games is like they are getting better at what they do and it's not helpful to Arsenal. I will be happy if I see Manchester City takes the lead but I want to see Arsenal change the narrative of Premier league and break the course. Arsenal also seems to have spent a significant amount of money, around €293.5 million, during the 2025 summer transfer window. What do you think? Can they win the title this season?
This is the biggest budget Arteta has spent to get new players, despite this money I don't think things are getting better if you ask me. This has been the pattern of Arsenal every season. Start well, give hope and act like you can do it but along the line, excuses start coming up, they leave the first place and do like they can do it only to stay in second place till end of the season or they struggle to maintain the second place. All I can say, Arteta job is at stake if they don't win this season.

Not even about Messi's salary... his intensity has lowered a lot the last years, that's why he is in MLS where he can just chill and score easy goals. Have fun with your family, live in a rich country, do your hobbies and enjoy some easy football with friends (i.e Luis Suarez). Even for the world cup he has said he will probably not play all matches due to the high intensity. Do we really see Messi playing in the Champions League for Barcelona, versus Real Madrid and Manchester City? 🚨🏆 Messi: “I’m excited for the World Cup. But I don't want to be a burden, I want to feel good physically, be sure that I can help and contribute things to the group”.
“I will see day to day if I really feel good physically to be like I would like to be able to participate”.

“I will see day to day if I really feel good physically to be like I would like to be able to participate”. Simply put, he treats playing in MLS like training because the level of competition is so low. There, he can have fun and earn a living. Inter Miami is also activating a very profitable Marketing mode, as long as Messi is still in their squad, the club's income will continue to increase, so it is not surprising that Inter Miami has proposed a contract extension for Messi. Regarding the discourse of Barcelona wanting to bring in Messi on loan, perhaps this discourse is still unclear, with no certainty given Barcelona still very unstable finances. I think the chances are very slim, unless Messi is willing to be paid a low salary.

I don't want to know the amount they have on this very player Rodrygo all I know is that he doesn't deserve to be at Madrid because of how things are for him at the club, he seems left out of the team and should Spurs get him I feel they're going to be much better and stronger than they are now. Will Rodrygo rediscover himself if he leaves Madrid?
The story about a player who became a flop at his former club then perform better once he joined in the new club is not even a myth. We have seen how MU lost many of its players who being accused as flops, then they fully perform after they joined in the new club. As long as he can find a new club that has a system that can suit him well. It's very possible for him rediscover himself. Antony, Garnacho, Sancho, and many players who being accused as flop gradually changed after they get the right club. However, going to Tottenham is such a huge degrade for Rodrygo's career. It will better if he can go to Chelsea instead of Tottenhan, which will treat him better.

I think media linked Lionel Messi with Barcelona after that players visiting Camp Nou stadium and posting at his Instagram account, however Barcelona has huge debt amount still not paying yet for Lionel Messi and I don't think he want return back to Barcelona as loan option due four months break of MLS League. Actually interested if four months break of MLS League for Lionel Messi returning back to top European teams but so far not any teams have official offering for signing him exactly with short period. Lionel Messi need new club for short term awhile if want good physical playing at World Cup, break out four months later and have short moment for playing at MLS League next season before participating at World Cup 2026 I don't think enough time for him back to the top level physical. So which club do you want to see Lionel Messi playing four months later?

I don't see anything wrong with Laporta's statement. Their finances are already in a bad condition. Why would he want to spend some extra money just for a 4-month loan? I don’t understand the media. They see a clip of Messi visiting Camp Nou and they start spreading news of a possible loan deal. People forget the reason why Messi left in the first place Barcelona couldn’t afford Messi’s salary and they still can’t unless they want to go bankrupt. Joan Laporta is not ready to put everything he works for into jeopardy and this time not with Barcelona. The president and influential members of the club have made quite unwise and poor decision in the past which have haunted them for years and they're just recovering from it, why see the need to put them back there? Leo Messi revisit the new Barcelona stadium and the atmosphere was filled with triumph, every Barcelona player wants to see Leo Messi play again for Barcelona. Unfortunately this can not happen because the president, Joan Laporta have debunked all claims and links that will see this deal coming through, Joan Laporta wouldn't afford to pull any strings for Messi this time around. They just have to focused on the players they've and coming back stronger, stronger than they've never been over the past decades.

Sure, leaving Real Madrid now is the best option for Rodrigo and I'm very sure of that. Sometimes, a player just needs a new challenge to improve on his capabilities and rediscover himself. Rodrigo has been performing poorly recently at real Madrid or maybe he is just getting out shined by fate. So far this season, he has 0 goals and 0 assists so far in his 10 match appearances this season. However, I would say that the price tag put on him is a bit high of which it's not also very underserving. It is good that he is open to leave because fans have also lost hope in him.
Rodrigo has tried his best for Real Madrid but regardless of how he proves to the club that he's a quality player, they keep disrespecting him by going to sign similar talents like him without giving him the opportunity to play many minuties. I think it's about time for him to leave the club and go somewhere else where he'll be appreciated. Not every player is supposed to play for top clubs because some players get their best years when they're the main players at the club and not like every other player just as it's at Real Madrid. I think he should demand for a move and not only loan, he should make his move permanent and maybe he'll get a breakthrough. Eh? Real Madrid keep disrespecting him? It doesn't give him the opportunity to play? He's been at Real Madrid since 2019, that means 6 years, and in 6 years he never managed to be be part of the line-up team. Many other players arrived after him and managed to do what he didn't. How is that Real Madrid's fault? He's simply not good enough to be a starter for Real Madrid, that's it. And he's wasting his career staying at the team where he doesn't play.

Arsenal is topping, but still farr away from winning the title. By the way, Berta seems give huge influence in the team's transfer decision. He targeted some pretty good players, and his successful transfer is hincapie. It's not a bad transfer, but he helped Arsenal avoid to overpaid him. However, he's still months in Arsenal, and too fast to conclude he brings a lot to the club.

I don’t see Chelsea signing Rodrygo because of his huge wages unless he accepts a pay cut. It will be good for him to move to a club where he can get regular playing minutes. The World Cup is approaching and he desperately needs to keep fit.
Chelsea is one of the club that offer the highest wage to their players so I dont see why they couldnt sign Rodrygo. Sterling is paid £300,000 per week and dude is not even on the lineup. He is basically racking up all those money by not even playing. Im not sure if Chelsea pay the full amount each week but even with 50% reduction for being inactive, he is still earning alot As for Rodrygo, he need a new club to play regularly so any club with a good potential for UCL would be a sweet spot for him

Sure, leaving Real Madrid now is the best option for Rodrigo and I'm very sure of that. Sometimes, a player just needs a new challenge to improve on his capabilities and rediscover himself. Rodrigo has been performing poorly recently at real Madrid or maybe he is just getting out shined by fate. I won't blame them I mean the fans for not seeing him as anything special anymore, is because of the way Alonso kept him on the bench like he doesn't have anything to offer and him leaving is indeed a good move even the man Endrick should also consider making a permanent move if not the bench would be weak to hold his weight for too long that's if he choose to fight for his place and is also all Alonso's doing. Rodrygo was one of the best players in the la Liga when things was going well for him and also for Madrid, the partnership between Vinicius and Rodrygo was one of the best and we all know opposition defenders are too scared of approaching when they attack but now things people say about Madrid they hardly mention Rodrygo on the mix base on his current situation, instead he's just the guy who comes in at the last minute of the game when the fun is no longer there. I can't remember the last time he scored for the club due to lack of playing time and if you ask me I'd say the amount is even small for the kind of player that he is and we have seen the positivity he brings to the team, no manager wouldn't like to have such a player for his club, it will be another great addition to Spurs if they choose to continue with the chase for him.

I thought the Blues are making plans to sign him when the transfer window open next year if he is also link to Tothenham not a bad move for him. Rodrygo was playing well under the watch of formal Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, one of the young star who was scoring important goals for Real Madrid but when Xabi Alonso arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu things became horrible for Rodrigo. He should go to a team where he can be playing regularly and not where he will come in few minutes to stoppage time, he is a good player and seeing his career die under Xabi Alonso is bad.
