I consider this decision to be a hasty one, he deserves more chances, but the story behind the scenes may not be as beautiful as the reality. And what are the odds that the new coach in the person of Alvaro Arbeloa would be accorded a much better respect that wasn't given to Xabi Alonso? Except you wanna tell me that the players never liked him because ordinarily every player no matter how important you might be to the team the instructions of the club's manager ought to be obeyed  and his tactics followed because there's no way anyone wanna tell me Xabi was without a plan for the team. Any player can be substituted at any time of a game base on the coach discretion and that player doesn't have to be arrogant to the coach for his actions because everything that happens always first goes to the coach before anyone else

At least there are many reasons why Real Madrid let Xabi go, but I don't have to worry about the club's performance, they will definitely remain stable even under new coach Arbeloa.

Well which ever one it was I think it's a good call because from the way the team runs it's clear that he is not in charge at all, the way certain players react shows he lost in the dressing room. As a manager if you are not in control of the dressing room your job will become difficult and it will look as if you are not doing well because the results won't be coming just as it is with Xabi Alonso so it's better that he resigned. Vinicius is one of the problems, complaining everytime you are subbed out really shows he lacks respect. Alonso needs to work on handling the dressing room properly.

I have always thought that going straight into coaching a top club is a big risk! But I don't think Real Madrid are doing badly this season.

I don't think it's about performing well, rather it's about not losing to Barcelona anymore and challenging them well for the title. There is no two ways around this it’s actually about not losing to Barcelona and also staying above them on the table that cost Xabi Alonso is job, but to me that is a stupid or lame excuse in my opinion because I have seen managers who have came here and faced this problem but yet grew better and conquer the league, an example was Jose Mourinho who lost his first el Classico 5-0 to Pep Guardiola Barcelona team then but went ahead to win the league the title. Didn’t we see even Ancelloti losing this games but also winning titles.

I think Alonso also lost the dressing room thanks to the club board which for me were not backing him fully and this opened room for players disrespect because had the players see him been backed they would have actually acted differently. And this raises my question to the two managers you sighted, although I don’t rate Arteta as a tactical manager but can they withstand a job which they are merely a coach and some high profile people act as manager, I doubt they would take this and it’s the reason why names like Arbeloa are on the sheet

You can't expect that bros, adaptation has to happen & if Arbeloa fails again as Real Madrid manager, I think it will be a long journey for the club to rebuild everything from scratch. I know we can't judge before Arbeloa even proves himself, but he's not Zidane, I'm not sure he'll have a quiet few weeks there. The next match is against Albacete in the Copa del Rey, if Real Madrid wins, we can't conclude that Arbeloa is a good manager, because they are just a weak team from La Liga 2.

Is been a while we heard from this player since his move to the Spanish side ATM, since then he hard get the playing time he wanted after the first season and I wonder why such a good player would be sitting on the bench always but good thing he made this move to Spurs. After sacking Xabi Alonso the management appointed youth academy head coach Alvaro Arbeloa, actually he was Madrid former and become academy head coach in last several season. Arbeloa know well with the looker room teams and its reason why the management appointed him to replace Xabi Alonso's position, short journey for Alonso appointing as Madrid's head coach at the early season by must leaving the club immediate effect after losing at final Super Spanish Cup from Barcelona.

Xabi feels so discomfort with too many intervention being made by club's management. The fact that some star players even disrespect him as a coach, while club was on player side instead of him. So it's good to see him to leave. He's good enough to be stay there. He deserves a better club that can fit his strategy. Hopefully, he goes to EPL.
 
As for Alvaro Arbeloa, i see nothing to expect from him. When team didn't listen to Xabi, can we expect them to listen to him? The answer is obviously they won't listen to him.

I am still trying to figure out more on where Xabi got it wrong to have warrant this sack and I'm thinking it is something which stems from his misunderstanding with some players and his inability to neutralize those differences on time which one way or the other will definitely affect the outcome of the players and the games too. I guess the club actually wanted to manage Xabi to a greater extent but they could not maintain such because it would continue to hurt their chances of winning big games like El Classico and the Madrid team is not ready to put their respected name in the mud for a coach like Alonso.

I am honestly not surprised by this sacking because after their 2-1 loss to Manchester City at the Santiago bernabéu in the uefa champions league this immediate past December, I was convinced that it's just a matter of time before xabi Alonso is sacked because the real madrid hierarchy got that feeling that xabi Alonso's real madrid team can't beat or compete with the best teams, especially when up against them. So they just took their time, and their game against Barcelona in this super cup finals proves their sentiment about him, that they cannot beat stronger teams that are competing with them in the same competition.
But will the sacking make real madrid any better, no I don't think so because this is still a young team that needs time to blend and mature.

My friend, there are points where I agree and points where I disagree. I agree: he's getting old, and Fenerbahçe has many players in that position. I disagree: they don't have a dynamic player like Kante who wears down opponents and wins the ball back quickly. I think Fenerbahçe should prioritize signing a striker, but if this transfer happens, I think it's Tedesco's wish. I agree with you, they urgently need a striker right now.

Xabi Alonso is actually still capable of coaching Real Madrid. Although he was rumored to be fired some time ago Alonso proved that he is still worthy of coaching Real Madrid and even managed to deliver good performances for Madrid in the recently. Xabi Alonso's departure from Real Madrid was quite professional because the agreement was not only unilateral but also through mutual consent with Madrid's management, where the parting was also full of respect. Perhaps Xabi Alonso's departure was due to a rift in his relationship with Real Madrid players. So I personally believe that this is all related to that. However Real Madrid is now entering a new phase under Arbeloa's coaching. I'm sure he will bring great energy and even good tactics to Real Madrid. He is also a coach with experience in the academy. However he may need time to align his coaching style with the Madrid players. And perhaps he can bring more positive changes to Madrid until the end of the season or even beyond. I think some of the great and even experienced players in Madrid will help Arbeloa to match his training style. I personally believe Arbeloa can deliver an impressive performance for Real Madrid in the upcoming matches.

Real Madrid is a big club and the management always be demanding this team always be in form for each games in all competition but unfortunately Alonso have failed to fulfill the expectation from the owner and this makes he have to sacked in my opinion there are several factor why Alonso sacked one of them is after Real madrid lost from Barcelona few days ago at El Classico besides that lost with big scores from Atletico madrid from derby game is not acceptable and besides those factor since November Real Madrid has very often to lost points against mediocre teams which i think these caused the owner didn't hesitate anymore to sack Alonso although this decision is risky
