On loan only 1/2 season to Lyon and without a purchase clause it may be because Real Madrid does not want to release the Brazilian player, it's just that he was loaned out to be able to get a lot of playing time --- at Lyon maybe Endrick will play fully there and this is an opportunity for him to improve his performance or it could be that this is Real Madrid's preparation for next season with plans for Endrick to enter the squad again.
It is clear that they do not want to sell him right now, not only because they see a potential in him, but because they can't get what they paid for him back, they paid something like 60 or 70 million if I am not wrong, even if it was 40 or 50 million, he doesn't worth that anymore because it's obvious he is not getting minutes.

They can ask for a lot, but that doesn't mean people will pay that. So, smarter move would be letting him play somewhere else and gain some value so that he would look good for other teams.
Endrick is a very young player, and his contract and plans with Real Madrid are long-term. Therefore, even if Lyon includes a purchase option, I'm sure they won't be able to pay the price Real Madrid wants. For now, the most logical thing is for him to increase his value during his time in France. Perhaps this loan period is necessary for him to be able to wear the Real Madrid shirt, because manager Xabi Alonso thinks he's not good enough and can't contribute to the team. In fact, he's given him almost no playing time this year. He got more opportunities under Ancelotti. I hope he has a successful time in France. He's gone to one of the best places he could go.

Given the opportunities he's getting at Real Madrid, a loan move to another team would be much better, allowing him to continue improving his individual skills. This could also benefit Real Madrid as a whole, as his improving performances could lead to him becoming a key player for Real Madrid in the long run. Lyon could be a good place for Endrick to improve his individual skills, as more playing time would allow him to gain more experience. Endrick still needs time to break into Real Madrid's first team, and I believe he will get that opportunity as long as he can improve his skills.

I was thinking: also Rasmus Højlund to Napoli. In the end, he's the second player they signed after McTominay.

Napoli are shopping at Manchester United.
In the case of McTominay, an excellent signing, it was a way for Manchester United to make money, given that he had come through the youth ranks and therefore cost nothing.
What about Højlund? Does anyone remember if they bought him for a high price?

It seems we're finally getting City as the winner to sign Semenyo. Chelsea is out, Manchester United rejected caused by Semenyo wants a team that consistently winning trophy, and still no progress from Liverpool. That reason enough to conclude City is winning this transfer. yet they still waiting for the final asnwer.

Hopefully, he won't waste his time and join in the pep's squad. I think it makes sense for City to pay 65m considering he's 25 yo. He has only 75k weekly salary on bournemouth, probably to be increased to 100k - 150k after he sign for City. So it's quite bargain enough.

It would be a good signing for Manchester City, but he will have to fight for his place, because there is no position that would come for free for him, and money is also going to play some part for them his wage also increasing and the length of his contract as well will all be put into consideration.
Of course no position will come for free, ever players have to fight for their place and the manager will also go with the players that he feels that can deliver on any tactics he wants to play on every match days. I remember when Manchester city got Nico Gonzales many people were saying he won't have playing time because of how dominant Rodri was back then in that position, but today we have seen how things suddenly changed and Rodri has became unavailable for a long time and Nico Gonzales has rose to prominence, I believe Semenyo will push his way to the first 11 because of how good he is. Since City are going to pay such a bargain amount for him am sure they won't have a problem in giving him a good salary and minimum of 5 years deal.

This time, Chelsea has even contacted Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo to discuss various deal conditions. Semenyo is one of Bournemouth's top players, capable of playing as a right winger, left winger, and center-forward. The 25-year-old Ghanaian's current market value is €65.00 million. So far in the Premier League alone, he has scored eight goals and provided three assists.
Chelsea are not alone in their pursuit of Semenyo. The Bournemouth winger is also being targeted by several other top clubs, especially in the Premier League, such as Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool. Semenyo has attracted the attention of these top clubs due to his impressive performances over the past half season.

HUGE battle Antoine Semenyo)

I heard that Chelsea has backed down from the deal, including Liverpool too, leaving Manchester United and City to battle for the player, according to Ben Jacobs, a reliable sports journalist like FabrizioRomano, he said Manchester City are in the front and Manchester United could back out of the deal.

It seems that Semenyo is more interested in joining Manchester City than any other club, they're one of the best in the league and could offer a quicker chance of lifting a trophy, but my worry about going to Manchester City is that he'll lack playing time cause there's several good plays in various positions he could fit in

Manchester City is a good team and with how they play if they retain Guardiola then winning trophies is guaranteed so I reason with Semenyo for rejecting teams that hardly win trophies. Manchester United is a team that is struggling and still yet to find their feet in the league, they were unable to qualify for any European competition this season and now they are still inconsistent and qualifying for any European competition is still not certain so many players will not consider joining them.

It's still not certain yet and I will wait till the deal is concluded because sometimes team can be crazy and go to the extent of hijacking players at the last minute, we have seen it several times in the past.

Semenyo is good and has shown it in the league so far so paying 65m is fair and definitely there will be a rise in his income so as you said 100k - 150k salary is a good deal for Semenyo. I just hope he doesn't end up as one of those players that flop when they are signed by a big club.

Guardiola wants to have plenty of alternatives at his disposal because they aim to win both the Champions League and the Premier League. Therefore, the quality of the rotation squad is crucial for Manchester City. Semenyo would be a very good addition to the squad. If he wants to achieve success at Manchester City, the transfer is highly likely, but if he wants to play in the starting eleven every match, then United would be a more logical choice than Manchester City.

This whole Endrick deal will be great for everyone involved. It's clear that Endrick is not getting the playing minutes that he needs to be better, so it is great for him to go to Lyon and start playing there (assuming they will implement him to starting eleven quickly), and for Real Madrid, they own the players rights but they can't play him, so it's wasted salary and future development, better to pay only half of the salary and hope that he plays and shows up, and for Lyon it's good because they get a good striker for only half the salary without paying a transfer fee.

This works for all of the people that are involved and looks like it could be a very good result for the long term if they know what they are doing.

AC Milan will sign West Ham's striker Niclas Fullkrug as a loan deal until the end of the season. The Italian team didn't want to keep Divock Origi in their squad and decided to replace him with the German striker. Fullkrug was injured most of the time in England and scored only 3 goals in 11 appearances. AC Milan is struggling to find a central striker capable of scoring lots of goals, and I highly doubt that Niclas Fullkrug would be the best player for this position. Divock Origi was a huge disappointment for AC Milan, scoring only two goals out of 27 appearances.

I watched Fabrizio's podcast yesterday, where he broke the news about Semenyo's imminent deal with Man City. It will be really heartbreaking for United fans if City finally seals his signature. Semenyo has been their number one target for the winter window, and I doubt that United even had an alternative in case they missed out on signing him.

At least he has gotten a place where they'd see him as an important player, where he won't be warming the bench and clapping hands for every actions that happens on the pitch. Good move for Endrick, staying at Madrid would have finished what is left of him, can we see a new version of the young Brazilian?

I was very happy for the young boy when I read about this move yesterday. This is how it suppose to be normally, when a team or coach don't want to include a player in their project, they should without hesitation allow him to go where he would be appreciated and get appropriate playing time. Endrick is a young talent that shouldn't be seating on the bench, that's obviously a wasting of talent. The league 1 side received him with a warm welcome and I hope he enjoys his time with them with maximum contributions. I still wonder why there's no option to buy included in agreement terms when Madrid has clearly shown they don't longer have interest for him under Xabi management.

Because Real Madrid didn't want that. They couldn't allow Lyon to add a buyout clause to his contract. Real Madrid still has hope in him and believes he could become one of their best players in a few years. Endrick is a very young and talented Brazilian. These players usually start playing at a high level and become a beast after the age of 20. The Spaniards know this, so they don't want to let him go easily. I'm sure they will be following his performance at Olympique Lyon.

Finally Endrick got the new club that in Lyon he has good opportunities to showed his skill although this is only short term loan but Endrick can restore his confidence in Lyon which i am sure his chances to playing regularly is wide open compared to in Real Madrid and next year there is big tournament called world cup if his performance with Lyon impressive i am sure Ancelotti will considering to call him to playing in this tournament with Brazil national team

Carlo Ancelotti brought him to Real Madrid because he had so much faith in him. Therefore, I think he's confident in his abilities. After gaining match fitness with Olympique Lyon, his chances of being called up to the Brazilian national team are very high. Also, as you said, the World Cup is in the summer, and he'll want to play in it. Playing in France for six months will give him good match fitness.

Semenyo is performing really well this year. We see that he's very effective in matches and puts a lot of pressure on the opposing defense. He also does this against big teams. That's why I understand why teams like Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea want to sign him. Honestly, considering Chelsea spends a lot of money and makes many unsuccessful transfers, Semenyo might not be able to develop himself there. Therefore, other options seem better to me.

Honestly this is how is suppose to be, not sitting at a place and crying for a little time to show your skill or fighting for a spot at the club while the handwriting is written boldly on the wall that they don't need the player. Now that he has gotten a better place where young players like him are I believe he'll feel at home, at this point not everyone who goes to the bigger clubs will excel and that's the fact. This Endrick's case remind me of how Galatasaray fans accepted Osimhen when he joined the club and don't be surprised that it will happen maybe that same way for Endrick. I expect to see him perform at his highest for the fans and as well as the club to show much interest in keeping him.

Endrick deal with Lyon is imminent, and he's certainly taking a strong stance. There's no guarantee he'll be recalled to Real Madrid in the future; it all depends on his performances with Lyon. IMO this is a short journey for him, and he'll have to work hard at his new club while also working towards a call up to the Brazilian national team.

Nope  Grin Now, Endrik literally has one job: to break Messi's incredible record at PSG - 6 goals in 26 games (27 if you count the cup).
I can already see how this will be discussed, in fact, it is already being discussed. Haaland recently surpassed Ronaldo's Premier League goalscoring record and it was widely reported in the news (especially by Messi's fan base), but soon (I think it will happen really soon) we will see similar news about Endrik.

Carlo Ancelotti has high expected for Endrick and last season he got more minutes playing when Madrid still managing by Ancelotti, since departure Ancelotti and replacing by Alonso the nightmare for Endrick begin without get minutes playing in La Liga until have more at the bench than playing as regular or substitutes players.
I think the patience of Endrick have been over by accepting offer from Lyon, maybe Endrick already leave Real Madrid training and moving to Lyon will play the first match one week later. Looks enough time for adapting well and I am expected Endrick should play for the early minutes when Lyon against AS Monaco. The loan duration up to 6 moths later enough moment for Endrick proof him self and get back position for playing with Brazil at World Cup 2026.

It wouldn't make any sense to sell him now because he barely played. To be honest we still don't know how good Endrick could be because we need to see him playing more, and so do Real Madrid. They spent a huge ton of money for him because they are betting on him for the future, that is another reason to keep him under their control.

It seems that Semenyo is more interested in joining Manchester City than any other club, they're one of the best in the league and could offer a quicker chance of lifting a trophy, but my worry about going to Manchester City is that he'll lack playing time cause there's several good plays in various positions he could fit in
I have read this from a whole lot of people all over the internet and i do not think i agree with them. If Semenyo believes he is good enough, which i think he is, why do people believe he cannot win his place in this City team. Savinho has underperformed, so he is way down the pecking order and City might sell him in January or in the summer.

Oscar Bobb is also injured, he too is way below the pecking order as his performances have been poor this season. So as far as competition goes for out and out wingers, Semenyo is up against Doku. Cherki, B.silva and Foden also play on the wing, but their best position is as an attacking midfielder. I think we'd see Doku and Semenyo combination a lot when he joins City.
