I don't know why the club hierarchy decided to let Casemero leave. He is still a top player and has even agreed to take a pay cut. Maybe he would have been considered if he were an Englishman Undecided

His salary should be the main issue and don't forget, he is South American, after playing all the good football, it is normal for them to retire to a side who pays them excessive and too much money.
Talks have already begin between Inter Miami and the player. It is already decided, he'll be leaving the club by the end of the season. Finally, the short time he's had with Manchester United has helped us with his experience and leadership,  he is loved by the fans, he'll be missed, most especially in the dressing room.

Casemiro is still an active player and can even play atleast a season more although I don't know if he was the one that offered the pay cut because I know the dude still loves Manchester United alot and he himself has admitted this but it's just so quite unfortunate that he will leaving at the end of the Season because the whole of Manchester United will miss him alot as he has been of major help and he will continue to progress further because we will all wish him the very best I. The rest of his career despite the place he would be going to play.

He wont, Manchester United has made their final stance regarding this and there wont be any turning back on this statement. They have decided to let him go because they want to reduce the huge wage burden. Casemiro is one of the top earner so its just reasonable to let him go for younger players that they are gonna sign

Zidane is now out of the list for the coaches who will replace Álvaro Arbeloa. The former Real Madrid coach would be replacing Deschamps in the French national team. Real has tried several times to bring back Zidane but he is focused on taking over the job of the head coach of  Les Bleus. ave cheaply.

Are you seriously expecting Zidane to come back to Real Madrid? After he left once then came back after Perez begged him for that then he left after 2 years again and here you are expecting he to come back for the 3rd time? Thats not happening unless Perez let him have full control on whatever players he wants but Perez obviously wouldnt want anyone besides him to have an authority for that matters

Casemiro is already 34 years old, so it's reasonable that the club would let him go and look for a younger replacement for a long-term project. With him nearing retirement age, it's unlikely that Casemiro will be able to play at the highest level. Therefore, the club's decision to let Casemiro go isn't about his salary, but rather his physical condition due to his age.

Man United seems to have no reason to hold Casemiro because in terms of age he is old enough and it is time for the team to let him go to look for a fresher replacement who can better contribute to the team. even though Casemiro is a good player, his performance is no longer as good as before, and the team needs regeneration in his position, so letting him go is the best decision that can be taken. maybe Casemiro's replacement, whoever it is, can adapt and provide a good performance for Man United's central side.

Casemiro not good like before? Even if I want to agree on this I think Casemiro recent performances will actually prove me wrong. Like mate did you even watch him today, I think Manchester biggest obstacle will be his replacement because if they don’t get it right it will seriously affect the balance of the team. I would have said a year contract while still going ahead to actually sign his replacement still will be the best call but I understand perfectly that the wages he is on wouldn’t allow that to happen.

The player recommended by Casemiro for his replacement is Bruno Guimarães who is not a bad option but seriously I don’t think he is completely a Casemiro prototype and that’s why Manchester are still reluctant and in other deals too. Casemiro on the other hand is simply leaving his best football at the club to the end.

I think Manchester United has really need to keep Casemiro because he still one of the greatest defensive midfielder although his age is a bit higher than others but still he can do the job as much better than others. Currently Manchester United didn't have big budget to bring up someone better than him. So that's why keeping him would be good for Manchester United. Even if we look at today match then probably you will also se it that Casemiro took a lead for his team with beautiful header although his team lose but still he put his contribute so frankly......

Besides that if Casemiro by himself really want to leave the club then probably they should need to open the door to him. But I think keep him would be more beneficial. Thus far if is Casemiro intending to leave the club then where will be the next destination. I think he will turn towards Saudi Arabia league.

Therefore, the club's decision to let Casemiro go isn't about his salary, but rather his physical condition due to his age.
Even at 34, Casemiro is one of Manchester United best players this season. Manchester United management should have given Casemiro one year contract even though they want to replace him in the summer because he can still be useful for Manchester United next season, and I the young player Manchester United will sign as Casemiro's replacement can still learn a lot from Casemiro before he leaves Manchester United.
Casemiro wage is too heavy for Manchester United and giving him another contract will mean that they are going to increase his wage and I don’t think Manchester United will be willing to do that. Secondly most of these old players are not reliable, they will perform well when they know that their contract is nearing completion so that the club will renew their contract and once that’s done they will go back to their shell and when questions are being asked why they are not performing as the previous season, they will use old age as an excuse.

Look at Mo Salah, he was so good last season at 33, Liverpool thought he would continue like that for more years and they gave him two years contract which he signed last season. But he has struggled to replicate that last season form that made Liverpool offered him contract extension. Casemiro might just be like that if given another contract. So it’s better he go let the club invest in another younger player, the coach will be there to direct the young player on what to do.
I know that Casemiro wage is too heavy for Manchester United, but I heard that he was willing to take a pay cut just to land himself another contract at Manchester United. But since Manchester United management couldn't extend Casemiro's contract even when he's willing of taking a pay cut, I believe Casemiro huge wage isn't the reason why he will be leaving Manchester United as free agent. What you said about most old players performing well when they know that they are running out of contract so that the clubs they are playing for can hand them a new contract and once they get what they want they will start performing badly might be true, but I believe Casemiro won't fall into that category because he loves Manchester United and he's ready to die for Manchester United badge.

I feel Manchester united doesn't want to maintain Casemiro's contract in the Club, this because they outrightly want him out, probably because they want a new player. If it's about the money, I know Manchester united can afford to still Casemiro's contract but they don't want, I've even heard stories linking him Saudi, because those are the people that can pay him such huge amount. The love you think he has for Manchester united is basically because of the position of the Club in Europe, and most players don't want to go outside of Europe.

I think Manchester United are playing a very dirty game that might likely not favor them even when it ought to. Of course, Casemiro is old. 34 years old for a defensive player in the premier league is definitely a big deal especially when he's on a very high salary at the club. The mistake that they Club has made is their failure to sign a replacement before his departure. Attempting to sign players when you're desperate for one, only puts those players in a lot of pressure, and you might not get the best out of them in a long while. If they had secured a DM in January, he would have had enough time to pair and learn from Casemiro himself, and also experience the premier league for a while before becoming a full starter for the Club.

Of course they don't want to keep paying him 20-22 million euros per year, that is an insane salary that doesn't make any sense. There is no defensive midfielder in the world worth that amount of money, let alone someone who is 34 years old with declining performances. And surely Casemiro wouldn't accept a 60-70% salary reduction.

This news of Casemiro's exit keeps lingering and fans are beginning to face the reality of his exit. Just like you said, he would not turn back because at the end of his career, he needs the money before his retirement. It's a two way thing, Manchester United is not ready to pay him such amount of money and regarding accepting a pay cut, he would not also wish to risk it. Casemiro is a very strong part of Manchester United of which I don't see Manchester United making up his space easily when he leaves. His collaboration with Bruno Fernandez has been very effective and keeps resounding. His header Vs Leeds was the only goal of the game and only him could convert that Bruno's classic cross to a goal. Fans will miss him already.
I feel Manchester united doesn't want to maintain Casemiro's contract in the Club, this because they outrightly want him out, probably because they want a new player. Yeah, I won't rule out the fact that his salary is high and I also support your point that Manchester United is not ready to pay such amount, not for him at all. How would you expect Casemiro to accept a 60 to 70 percent pay cut when he can easily get his money somewhere else. I see this contract termination as a mutual benefit for the both side. Rumors have it that the MLS is ready to sign him and if that happens, he would have the opportunity to earn even more.

I don't believe that his career is declining, at least not very noticeably. His performance is classic of which there are not many players that can do what he does with the ball currently even the 20s kids now, so give him his flowers always.

I also think he deserves a contract extension. His field and leadership experience will be helpful to Manchester United. I know there was a time when almost all United fans wanted him to leave because of some costly mistakes he was making. He lost confidence and was criticised by sports pundits and fans. But fortunately, he regained his confidence and form, and I am glad that the club leadership rewarded him with a new contract.

I don't know why the club hierarchy decided to let Casemero leave. He is still a top player and has even agreed to take a pay cut. Maybe he would have been considered if he were an Englishman Undecided
While it's true that as a mentor, or leadership, he is looking decent, I also think that Maguire is not the level of defender United needs when we are talking about taking the next step. I know it's too soon to talk about United winning a title, because lets face it it's a shock that they are looking like they will finish third, so anything better than that is not really expected from them, next year winning the title would be a huge shock to everyone in the world, and I am not expecting them to do that.

But at the same time, why are you playing if not to win? And Maguire is not a defender for a team at the first place, nor even for a third place, and I think they should be looking to get someone who is a lot better.

I agree too, paying that sort of salary to a 34 year old footballer is excessive, and to be honest, I don’t understand why the player would rather go and play elsewhere than stay at Manchester United on a reduced salary. Then again, we know that in exotic leagues like the saudi arabia superleague, he could continue to earn a lot, but the competitive edge is gone and he’s decided to end his career.

I believe that this situation of casemiro leaving Manchester United at the end of the season is not managed properly because left for me, it would have been a lot better if they had signed his replacement already, and he manages to play at least a season with casemiro, even though he watches from the bench, so that the player can learn from him directly, unless they are going for an upgrade to casemiro, which I don't think is that possible, considering the top  player playing in that position around the world that is available in the market.
So if they had signed his replacement already, it would have really been beneficial to the player, because after a period of a year at the club, he might have adapted fully, and he is going to learn some new tricks/skill from casemiro himself, unlike a new player that will come in, and start struggling with adaptation, because we never can tell in situations like this.

I don't know why the club hierarchy decided to let Casemero leave. He is still a top player and has even agreed to take a pay cut. Maybe he would have been considered if he were an Englishman Undecided.

Looking at the performance of Casemiro with Manchester United this season, it's very understandable to know why the club fans are asking the club management to extend his contract beyond the end of the current season. However, it's important to note that he's now aged and will retire soon. Playing for Manchester United who wants a pay cut from the Brazilian isn't a good choice. He's done all he could do for the club, it's time to go to a top Saudi club where he'll be offered lucrative deals and secure good retirement benefits.

Spending so much money on an attacking player, when their midfield and defense is seriously lacking quality doesn't sound logical because the key to every successful team is balance. If they are not balanced from their defense to their attacks, they will always struggle when faced with top oppositions like this Bayern Munich team.

Additionally, I don't think that Bayern Munich will listen to offers for Olise because selling him for whatsoever amount will make them look like a selling club with less ambition, and that move is capable of turning their fans against their chairman, so it's a move I don't see happening this summer or in the next three seasons.
Olise and Vini and Jude and Mbappe all could play together at the same time if that were to happen. Not saying that it's going to happen, for Bayern he is not available for sale, they are not looking to sell him at all, only if Olise insists that Bayern is not stupid enough like PSG to let him go for free after his contract runs out so they will sell him if Olise demands it so that they could make some money.

But if it were to happen, you put Mbappe at striker, and Vini at left and Olise at right, and Jude between the wingers at the middle, behind Mbappe.
While they "could" play together, we have seen what happens when you put too many star players on the field. Real Madrid is still failing to make Vini and Mbappe play together, while Mbappe scores a lot, Vini has gone into shadow realm and failing so far.

Because Mbappe keeps drifting to left, and Vini is forced to take a step back, and just let Mbappe win them the games. But when the team doesn't fit together, and only one player shines, we see the issue. Olise could come and disturb that even further, unless they make a change. This is why I keep saying that what they need is a pure striker, someone like Lewandowski or Haaland, so that they can sell Vini, put Mbappe to left, and put the striker up front instead.

Could you please identify the place in my post where I said Zidane would or should return to Real Madrid? I was responding to a post by a member who was saying that the former French midfielder would be the ideal option for the Spanish side. You could also see in my post where I said Zidane would be taking over from Deschamps as French national team coach after the World Cup.

They just love to spread rumours all over the internet! I wasn't expecting Olise to leave in the first place.

Why would he want to leave one of the best European teams at the moment? Especially while he is having his career-high season at Bayern Munich?  Huh

It doesn't make sense at all... Neither Real Madrid nor another team can steal him from them in my opinion.
Since we are living in a world where social media influencers make people from posting on social media, people will keep spreading rumours just to get engagements on their social media pages. Olise is having one of his best season at Bayern Munich right now, and I don't expect him to go to either Liverpool or Real Madrid in the summer because Bayern Munich is one of the European giants and they are doing very well both in their domestic league and the Champions League. But since Olise haven't cleared the air about him linked with a move to either Liverpool or Real Madrid in the summer, I believe Olise could move to either Liverpool or Real Madrid in the summer.
I didn't believe all this rumours again sometime ago that was how they were saying that Harri Kane will be leaving Bayern Munich i was like a player that is having his best moment in a team? scoring at all time where is he going Harri Kane is still in Bayern Munich till now, so for now i don't believe that Olise will be going anywhere for now the boy is having his best time in football if Olise will leave Bayern Munich it's not going to now not even next season.
No player is untouchable as long as transfer windows is concerned, I have seen how This Bayern Munich President keeps talking about how Micheal Olise is untouchable, we’ll all it takes is the player himself to agree that he wants to move to a different club and environment, and then if the club decides not to do anything about it then he should submit a transfer request, as long as I’m concerned Bayern Munich isn’t his dream club and there are other clubs that is his dream club, so if his dream club comes calling then I think he can absolutely change his mind and decides to move to his dream club, if Liverpool and Real Madrid are ready to sigh him then I think it’s absolutely possible if the players himself wants to leave the club for another team they prefer more to play for and they will also want some Change in the future, because I don’t see Micheal Olise playing for Bayern Munich all his career, he would definitely want to move to England or Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Is this the saying that what a man can do, a woman can do better? She is not a novice in the Bundesliga since she became an assistant coach in November 2023 at Union Berlin. But I still have doubts that she would be able to gain the respect and support of players who are used to male coaches. Eta has received so much support on social media and I hope she will be able to turn the fortune of the club after a disgraceful 3-1 loss to bottom-side FC Heidenheim.

Union Berlin will be relegated at the end of the season. There was no point in getting a male manager, since there is a scarcity of managers and one who would accept a team like Union Berlin, on the verge of relegation.

I think she took a bold step in her career. If at the end of next season she brings the team back to the top league in Germany (Bundesliga), she is going to gain so much respect.

I didn't come across this news here maybe I skipped it.
Marie-Louise Eta is now Union Berlin's intern manager. She was announced after the previous manager was sacked.
She is now the first woman to manage a men's first team in a top division of the European Leauge. Big news as female managers are now becoming well recognized in football.

The 34 year old German coach has made history not only as the first female head coach in the Bundesliga but also as the first in Europe’s top five leagues. It has been announced that she has signed a contract through the end of the season, but given how things are going, I think she could remain at the helm of the team next season as well. If she continues into next season, it would be nothing short of a revolution in the world of soccer coaching. This marks another bold move by Germany in world football, as the country has also taken the lead in appointing female referees. We’ll have to wait and see if football a male dominated sport is truly changing.

I fail to understand why a woman taking a job should be celebrated in the media that way? What is important is the results. Show me your results and we will respect you like Zidane in Real Madrid or Xabi Alonso with Bayer Leverkusen or even Kompany with Bayern Munich. It is as simple as that. I recall by the way when Kompany was first appointed how many critics were written and how he was not fit to manage a big club like Bayern and now it is totally the opposite when a woman took the lead of an ordinary club in Bundesliga. Hypocrisy at its best. I wish her good luck with her new job.

I don’t see them in a relegation zone in the Bundesliga standings; they are ahead of so many teams, in fact they are seated in the 11th position of the Bundesliga table with 32 points, and most of their remaining matches will be against teams they are ahead of, so the female coach will use to write history for herself as the first female manager to take over and helped the team maintain their position not be relegated.

If she manages to finish the season without going to relegation, I think she should be given the team to manage on permanent basis because teams like that don’t usually get luck of big managers to manage them because they will feel like they are not experienced enough to coach them.
