It's a very dumb decision to leave this fast. He should ask City for another contract extension instead of leaving from the club when he's still have passion to play in the top competition such as EPL. No where else will give what he got from City.
He has been in the club for nine years that is since 2017. With Manchester City from search, he has won 6 premier leagues, 2 FA cups, 5 carabao cups, 3 community shields, 1 champions league, 1 FIFA club world cup, 1 UEFA Super cup.  So it is normal and expected that he's tired of Manchester City and needs a new fresh competition or challenge elsewhere  with another team before he retires from football. Clubs will come for him for sure, he has won it all in Manchester City in his nine years in the club, trying to win something with another club can bring another form of excitement.
For a player to have spent this much time with one club shows how loyal and dedicated he has been over the years, calling his decision to leave a dumb one is out of place. Perhaps the player doesn't feel at home any more haven spent so much time at the Etihad, may be it's time to move on or, the club has reached an agreement with the said player to leave at the end of the season.
I believe the player has  had a mutual understanding with the club and that's the most important thing.

Leaving your comfort zone or where you aren't feeling much comfort again is something that is done almost everywhere and every player does, I mean he has proven his loyalty with the club and won everything possible that a player could win with a club so the choice is best meant for him to make and if he feels settled making the move to another club then it's a welcome move and the club fans where he served should respect the decision.

Is Klopp desiring to comeback?
No top teams currently uncertain about management that won't benefit being under the management of Klopp.

Toni Kroos might make a good coach bit can not really be certain and that uncertainty is something that shouldn't be used this time in picking a management.

In my opinion, if Real Madrid made him an offer, Klopp might well return; as for other clubs and opportunities, I don’t think so, though he’s never made a secret of wanting to manage in Spain. Kross is very intelligent and will do very well as a manager, but it would be better if he started with a second-tier team first, as Xabi Alonso did.
I'm not sure Jurgen Klopp will return to coaching even if Real Madrid makes an offer. I'm sure Jurgen Klopp still wants to rest and perhaps even retire, so Real Madrid shouldn't get their hopes up for something that not entirely certain. By the way, Real Madrid isn't just targeting Jurgen Klopp, Mauricio Pochettino is also on the radar, but this is still just a rumor and isn't necessarily true. What clear is that Real Madrid needs to change managers to address their current problems.

This is the rumor that i'm hoping it's gonna be real. Newcastle has never improved ever since they were signing Howe as their coach. So it sounds good to see they may be doing parways with Howe, and they may also sign Mourinho as his replacement.

The last time we saw how Mou treated badly at Spurs. It will be so good to have him back to the EPL again. I'm sure he can improve Newcastle when club gives Mou good budget to spend.

I don't wanna be too optimistic, but this rumor is really exciting me. I like him with all of his controversies.
I don't think Newcastle United needs a new coach, and even if they must bring in a new coach in the summer, Jose Mourinho is the right man to take over from Howe and become Newcastle United new head coach because his tactics is updated and it won't suit Newcastle United players, Newcastle United should look for a coach that play attacking football, not José Mourinho that's always play defensive football. I totally disagree with you that Newcastle United has never improved under Howe because last time I checked Newcastle United has played in the Champions League back-to-back and won the Carabao Cup under Howe management.

What do you think about this? Do you believe Rashford is really worth paying that much right now? Don't forget that he is still going to be a rotation player for Barcelona.

Besides how are they even going to pay that money? As far as I know they are still broke financially... I'm not sure if they would spend that much for a player coming from the bench mostly.

I mean he has made 22 goal contributions including assists so far. But he isn't good about consistency.

To be sincere I think paying such amount for Rashford is fair, he's been excellent for them even with lack of consistency he has made the left wing more lively for them compared to how it was before. He gives them the presence of a winger and he really helps the team so I think they should consider keeping him it's worth it.

They may be facing financial problems but I don't think they won't be able to finalize the deal if they want to. Somehow they always manage to convince teams to pay installments so they can that in this case also if United accepts. Rashford might not be the perfect winger for them but he fills the space for them even with his inconsistency.

Despite contributing 22 goal Rashford's skyhigh salary demand is absurd given his form. It would be foolish for Barca to risk such a large sum at this point in time, considering everything.
Barca already has plenty of attacking option, with Yamal, Rafinha, Lewandowski, Ferran and more! Bringing Rashford into the team is basically about increasing the strength of the bench and using his Premier League experience. I do not think he will be played as a direct starter

You know, they are still trapped in the clutches of La Liga's salary cap. As a result if they want to buy a big player they either have to sell someone or they have no choice but to come up with that crazy idea of installment"

Klopp can probably return the coaching if Real Madrid can offer him a huge amount of money to coach the club, because Madrid is a big club and everyone will like to coach club like Madrid. But with Alvaro is coaching madrid currently i think they will give him next season to continue with the managing the team because he as improve better then xabi Alonso, and the players are enjoying is servings so I think theycan give him another year, since he comes to the club in half of the season so let see if he can improve better an if he fail to improve in the beginning of the season am sure they will look for new manager to help the club but I get the believe that if they call Klopp to coach real madrid he can probably accept the offers.

If Barcelona is unable to pay the agreed amount of money between them and United, Manchester United wouldn't sell Rashford. From what I observed Barcelona wants to pay lesser than the amount that Manchester United negotiated with them and United said NO. Therefore, I don't think that we will see Rashford playing in Barcelona next season.

It's a very dumb decision to leave this fast. He should ask City for another contract extension instead of leaving from the club when he's still have passion to play in the top competition such as EPL. No where else will give what he got from City. He could also get a role that would fit him better.
So his decision is not what i wanted. He could act like a mentor, but i'm not fully blaming him caused by i also disappointed with how passive City's management.

If City still sees him valuable, they should offer him a new contract extension.
Its crucial decision for Bernando Silva leaving Manchester City at the end of this season after his contract expiring and not any extend contract yet, now still speculation for the future of Bernando Silva because the player has capacity for playing with the higher level competition by playing with Premier League club, La Liga or Serie A club.
Nine years become most important player for Manchester City and Bernando Silva won all trophies from Premier League, FA Cup and Champion League, I think all trophies won with Manchester City during nine years make him want to try new challenge with other club.

I mean considering how inflated the football world is right now about transfer then I think 30m is a good deal for Marcus Rashford, I mean what more quality do you expect from a 30m attacker. He has made a decent contribution to Barcelona this season and for me I feel he will do better next season, beside he his not a first choice player.

Currently I know Barcelona are having doubt about his quality and are trying to price him less. Rashford will have always to go back to Manchester United and try to find a new home if Barcelona eventually don’t keep him. He has had an excellent season even though we know he has been poor in some game. So for me I will suggest Barcelona keep him for that amount.

@7juju you got a point here, is playing pretty much every game and in terms of the stats, he isn't really worse than last season. He has never really been this crazy top scorer, but in my opinion he is a legend. He is such an intelligent player, playing the right passes with the right timing. Not everybody can see that you are still a great support for the team. I agree that for a winger his stats could have been better, but his role was not the typical high speed winger role who is supposed to score a lot. Sure if he does, nobody will complain Wink

Manchester City is a team where some of the best have to accept it is time for them to leave. It is not like Manchester City won't be able to replace him. He was a player that Pep Guardiola once said he likes the most. It is those players who are actually midfielders. His statement was (IIFC) I would to play with 10 midfielders.

Jürgen Klopp will surely be one of the best managers to take this Real Madrid's job because of his experience with big teams, he can manage the pressure and the competition with Barcelona and can use the available players to win the Champions league  for the team; but I doubt if he will accept the offer even if the Mangement of Real Madrid decides to offer him the Job, I think one of the reason for the rejection will embarassment; once you failed be consistent, the management don't give time for coaches to study the team and the players, until they decide to start becoming patient, they can get good coach because no coach will want to ternish his reputation.

I don't know why you think that Jurgen Klopp will reject an offer from Real Madrid if truly they are interested in making him their new manager. Foe now he's without a job and he's probably taking a break to plan for his next movement but as a professional taking the responsibility of becoming the manager of one of the biggest team in the world I think he will find it difficult to reject the offer not just for the money but he's going to work with young talents and it will be fun to him. Mauricio Pochettino may also be in the list but the most preferred should be Jurgen Klopp he needs to put in his experience to help the Real Madrid team get back to normal performance.

There haven't been any official contact between Klopp and Real Madrid but I think he can stl return to his coaching role if he wants or sees a good offer.

That aside, Pochettino shouldn't be an option here, he isn't reliable, neither do re s he have to capacity to manage big players we saw that at PSG. I won't say he is reliable for this reliable for this role, Real Madrid needs to win trophies and experimenting is not an option here.

The money that Manchester United are requesting is very high and that is why Barcelona have not approved it yet. And with how Rashford is performing currently in the league competition, many Barcelona fans have been blaming him that is not doing well anymore is missing alot of chances in the pitch that will converted to goals. But we don't know how things will probably go between Barcelona and Manchester United, I don't think Manchester United have interest to bring Rashford back to the club they will find a way to sell him to any big club if Barcelona didn't cooperate well.

Barcelona really need players if they really want to win champions league they need new strikers and defenders to make the teams stronger then before and can challenge the big clubs in the competition. Let see what Hansi Flick will do next season if he will make a good decision and sell some of the old players in the club and bring new strikers to the team.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, sometimes we judge a player because they don't put up stats like our favourite players but they are integral part of the project. Bernado Silva is not the most flashy midfielders like them Pedri's or stat merchants like Bernado Silva but the work and load he carries in the Man City squad cannot be understated, he literally covers holes across the pitch regardless if it's on transition for an attack or defensive work. Bernado Silva is one of the most complete utility midfielder footballer we have now

How will you say that Álvaro Arbeloa improved better than Xabi Alonso, have you checked the statistics of both coaches? Real Madrid's management wanted either of the La Liga title or the Champions League title which was the reason they sacked Xabi Alonso and brought in Álvaro Arbeloa but to me he is even getting worse than Xabi Alonso. I don't see Real Madrid giving Álvaro Arbeloa another year as Real Madrid head coach, they can sack him any moment because what the team want is trophies because it's been 2 seasons now without any trophy which if they continue this way next season they will start becoming less important. A lot of people have been anticipating Klopp to become the next manager of Real Madrid but i don't see that happening because Klopp just needed time to himself and family which is why he hasn't accepted any coaching role since he left Liverpool.

Newcastle should have learned from other clubs that younger coaches are doing well in top European leagues. Vincent Kompany, Mikel Arteta, and others are examples. Jose Mourinho wouldn't be my favourite to take over from Howe. I would even prefer Roberto Mancini or Andoni Iraola to the Portuguese manager. He has not been his best for some time now and his departure is always because of disagreement with club management.  He is not tolerant which leads to conflict.

Nine seasons with one clubs is ok and enough at least he should go far out of European football into other clubs side that will give him a new challenging time, remaining at Manchester City as suggested by some people is not a wise decision because when a players pend too much time at a club, their begin to lose their value at some stage.

Rashford is a good, useful player. In my opinion, like you said, he’s worth buying. He has added a fresh spark to Barcelona and with his goals and assists he has lived up to expectations. As for the finances, Barcelona is indeed in big trouble, but we all know that clubs like that often get some leeway. Of course, not just Barcelona, but most big clubs in general. So i think the transfer can definitely be completed
