So really, I see two options here. If my child is sent to Hell, there is absolutely no way I'm killing my child. I'd much prefer myself to suffer eternal damnation than my child. But if I was guaranteed that my child would go to Heaven in death, that would make things more sticky. I mean, sure it's still a horrible thing to do, but my child and I both getting into Heaven certainly sounds like the best case scenario here in the long run, compared to me refusing to kill him and automatically going to Hell and my child being a theoretical coinflip on where they go upon death.

behind the injunctions that hurt us there must be a wisdom in it. because god is omniscient and omniscient. if he orders to kill my own child, I will ask my wife and my son for the message that God gives to me. if my child approves it I will do it, but if my child does not approve it I will pray and ask for directions to him. what should I do to my child so that I have greater confidence and trust to do so. |

There is no god out there, so he can't command you about anything. But obviously I have heard about serial killers claiming that god asked them to kill people and that is why they made all those murders. IMO, it is just an excuse to justify their crimes and an attempt to put the blame on someone else. |

I would send God to hell! After all, these are my children and I have to protect them from death.
I would never kill my children just because God told me so. If I do that, maybe I'm already mentally ill and I could go to prison for parricide. I love my baby so much, and I dont think I can do it with my right mind. |

I would not kill my child if God orders me to kill my child and in no circumstances would i do it. If God will punish me and condemn me to hell for eternity for disobedience then so be it. |

God know's what is better for us and I believe that He command this for our sake. Like what He says in the bible "Hebrews 13:5 I will never leave you know forsake you" . |

On the first place no parents can actually kill their own children and I don't think that God will give us that command because in the case of Abraham when God asked him to offer Isaac God provides ram to be killed as an offering. But God just tested Abraham's obedience.

Just because in the old testament God commanded Abraham to kill his son and he was willing to do so does not mean it was right.
First of I do not think that this story actually happened.
And If a God did command me I would flat out refuse.
I do not think God would ask for anyone to do such a vile act to begin with.
My God is an all loving God who would never condone such atrocities!

I know that it is really hard to do something harmful to your own child, especially killing him. To be truthful, I can't even imagine what I would do in a situation like this. But first of all, I would remember, that I am a child of God and He wants only the best for me. Maybe this way He is testing my loyalty to Him (what happened with Abraham). So I would really try to obey the command of God.
