I guess devs know they have a technically excellent product, but the massive amounts of coins that have to be distributed first, delayed the inclusion in the big exchanges.

The airdrops and the idea of "free money for doing nothing" is a good publicity move. (Although i dont like the pics of raining dollar bills and rockets to the moon. Their are funny, kinda like a joke).

I guess its like a monopoly game, when you are given some free money to start, and then the game begins  Cool

Let the airdrops pass by. Then BTX will show its power in real world use.

Hi karmarul,

it looks like you deposited your 10 BTX a little too late to your address, the airdrop was already in progress when you did so. However if you correctly registered your address you will take part in the 25% airdrop next Monday. Just make sure to not move your coins before.
See here for info on your address: http://51.15.78.208:3001/address/1ESdUv4r8KA4VbWEJ2xdHGSJkkXS71WBFg

Price looking good also.

I think there is a confusion btween the people included me about the BTC holders on 2nd of november.
So is it 1 Btc for 0,5 Btx or %50 in Btx of the value of 1 Btc( example 1 Btc $5500= $2750 in Btx) ?

I still think that is the second option... Can somebody confirm?

Thank you!
Option 1. 1BTC=0.5BTX
The other one would be nealry impossible.

Isn't it better to exchange a few bitcoins for 100BTX and get the 25% airdrop on it? 0.5btx on 1btc isn't a good deal.

Bitcoin is expensive, who want to hold 1 units BTC and get 0.50 BTX?
Might as well buy 6000$ worth of BTX and get the special airdrop on it?

That's my point Smiley. Everyone is concerned about exposing the private keys for 50% airdrop! Don't do it if you can't trust it! Why get $3-$5 on $6000 worth of a bitcoinBTC. It's better to buy or exchange BTCBTC for BTX and then get special airdrop!

You can get about 600BTX for 1BTC.

Which means:
600 BTX X 25% AIRDROP = 150 BTX as AIRDROP  Kiss

The compounding airdrops after that will really add up here, an 11 million market cap for BTX is still ridiculously low for the total coin supply... I imagine we're going to hit $50+... if you hold 100BTX right now when the 25% hits... and then hold then for a full year... you'll have over 12,000 BTX .... thats over $100,000.00 at todays prices... $600,000.00 at $50

I sure hope you pay someone to do your taxes. Don’t know where your getting 12,000 BTX from 100 BTX based on airdrops. There isn’t a chance in hell your gaining 12,000 percent on airdrops that start at 3% and increase by 1% each month.

yes maybe you should contact bitfinex.

Maybe yes. But also community has the opportunity to do their stuff. This coin is also about the great community. e.g. Poloniex would be a possible listing but they are require a community form to get listed there.

So if you have the chance do your best for this coin and its adventages

How about Hitbtc exchange. It is my favoriate, easy use and very professional.

Defninitly would be an awesome exchange. Withou promising anything I can say there is a chance hitbtc might come some time in the future.

The power of compund interest. See my graphic below.
Of course this will never happen, because the airdrop funds will depleated earlier. Still, if you get in early (now!) you have a change of extremely nice compounding.

See this graph for a detailed view on what's going on:

NOTE: date of funds depleted can be inaccurate. It may end much earlier.

I think the distribution will be done after 6-7 months which is perfect. Then the coin will be strong enought to reach the Moon!

I half assed it when figuring it out and went all the way to 15%, its not rocket science though man:

- 3% - 100 ÷ 3% = 33.3333

Assuming the percentage goes up every 4 weeks, here is the airdrop expectation for a year starting with 100 coins...

In [133]: percent = 0.03

In [134]: week = 1

In [135]: coins = 100

In [136]: while week <= 52:
   .....:     airdrop = coins*percent
   .....:     newcoins = coins + airdrop
   .....:     print "Week ", week, percent, coins, " + ", airdrop, " = ", newcoins
   .....:     coins = newcoins
   .....:     if week % 4 == 0:
   .....:             percent = percent + 0.01
   .....:     week += 1
   .....:     coins = newcoins
   .....:
Week  1 0.03 100  +  3.0  =  103.0

I need to apologize. I just saw this useless newcoins and airdrop, but just later I saw you used them for the output. Without it it made no sense to me why you wanted to have this useless clutter.
But for visualization in the print statement. Then it's only not really nice, but not that bad.
My apologies Smiley It's late here, 5 a.m., watching Dolphins @ ravens.

If somebody send Btx to my encrypted wallet, can i decrypt the wallet after 12 hours for example and to receive these coins with no problems, i mean is there some period after which the transaction will be cancelled if we dont decrypt the wallet?
there is no relation between encrypted wallet and receiving coins.
even if you don't sync your wallet, your address would still receive coins just fine no matter what
just that when you're not synced you won't see it in your wallet (but it's there)
and you have to decrypt your wallet for awhile to be able to send out coins
I never encrypt my wallet, so I'm not 100% sure about decrypt before sending coins

My 2 cents.

Because the airdrops, price will rise.

With this, somepeople with BTX in a BTC addrress in the next months will be more motivated to enter the priv key in a BITCORE wallet, and them hold or sell

I'd always recommend encrypting the wallet to avoid getting your coins accidentally stolen.  Tongue

If the wallet is encrypted then you'll need to enter the password to send coins out of the wallet.

I'm not sure that there is any feature that allows anyone to decrypt a wallet once its been encrypted (maybe you meant something different?).
