We need to start promoting the usage of BarterDEX ASAP!!! It is beyond me why people want to continue using centralized exchanges especially given the security risks and the bad customer service. How many bad exchanges and hacks do we have to see until we all learn?

It is not about exchanges in the bigger picture. We already have a few decentralized exchanges (BitShares comes instantly to my mind here) but they all have the same problem, actually one of the two major problems. They are either not properly decentralized, and then you have to use some centralized server to trade, or the trades are not instantaneous. With truly decentralized exchanges, there should be no centralized trading place or pit, but to succeed they need instantly fast transactions for real-time trades.

Let me insert my 5 cents into the discussion about new exchanges and the future of the BTX.

The new exchanges, of course, are important - but in themselves they do not add almost anything to the value of the coin, but only provide its liquidity as a tool for speculation.

Much more important work in the backoffice is in order to increase the usefulness of the BitCore. I look at the roadmap - and it seems to me that it is too stretched in time, is of little aggravation and has too low dynamics. If you work quickly to include a coin in use in various services, as a means of payment, while working on marketing & advertising - you can quickly raise the demand for it.
Artificial restraint by restricting places where one can buy a coin is a bad way. All cryptography tends to the masses and tries to be as light and accessible to beginners and unprofessional people.

And do not forget - that now the BitCore is technically very good and surpasses bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies. But it will not always be so! The cryptoworld is changing very fast. As soon as the EOS mainnetwork will launched in July, many cryptos will feeling very uncomfortable. The absence of commissions and millions of transactions per second will be available already this year. Many cryptocurrencies are waiting for the collapse and the roadside.
We do not want such a future for our BTX

Narf.... I would never tell someone what he has to do on the internet. But when it comes to official communication, there are just some dos and dont's.
I'm no native speaker myself, so I think a native speaker would recognize enough errors in my writing. But I'm not communicating in an official position for a company being responsible for 289.702.111 USD...

Coinomi works just fine. All you have to do is swipe your BTC Wallet with it and you are in.
For claiming the weekly airdrop you have to register on the site. But there is a very detailed explanation on how this works there

This seems to reflect my thoughts very well; many of the statements here are not only applicable to BTX but to many other (modern/still under development) cryptocurrencies out there.
Presence on (some) exchanges is important, but constant development and adaption to needs of the (crypto)trading environment is a necessity if one wants to succeed in a long term.
As long investors find it simple/easy to invest in the BTX, its presence on further exchanges falls only secondary to many other aspects of the coin.
